President Trump says Iran is ready to negotiate a ceasefire, but he's not ready to make a deal. Trump said that's because, quote, the terms aren't good enough yet. In a weekend interview with NBC News, the president also said he's working with other countries on a plan to keep the straight of Hormuz open as global oil prices surge.

1:02The U.S.N. Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran two weeks ago. Senate Republicans are expected to bring the Save America Act to the floor for a vote next week. President Trump is ramping up the pressure on Senate Majority Leader John Thune, who says there aren't enough votes to beat the 60-vote threshold needed to pass the voter ID measure. I think he's a wonderful person I do, but he seems to be not that he doesn't want to do it. He doesn't think he can do it. And that's bad. I mean, how can you not get voter ID approved? How can you not get citizenship approved? Trump made his comments on Fox News Radio's The Brian Kilmead Show. Democrats are vowing to block the measure arguing that the ID requirements would disenfranchise millions of voters. Millions across the upper Midwest are dealing with heavy snow and blizzard conditions, more from Scott Carr. The National Weather Service says a winter storm system rolling across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Upper Michigan could dump up to two feet of snow through Monday, potentially making it one of the largest snowstorms of all time.

2:03The forecast calls for blizzard conditions overnight into Monday with winds reaching 50 to 60 miles an hour, creating white out conditions. Forecasters urge those in the path of the storm to stay off the roads as travel could become life threatening. And in the Southwest, millions are bracing for an extreme heat wave. The National Weather Service says the Los Angeles area will be hit with an extremely rare long duration heat wave. That starts on Monday with temps up to 35 degrees above normal, lasting possibly through Friday. The extreme heat will hit Arizona later in the week when afternoon highs in Phoenix could hit the triple digits. I'm Lisa Carton. The FCC is threatening to bull broadcaster licenses over alleged inaccurate Iran war reporting. Jim Forbes has more. FCC chairman Brendan Carr wrote on X Saturday that quote broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distractions have a chance to correct course before their license renewals come up. Carr linked to President Trump's true social post in which the president singled out a news story first published by the Wall Street Journal about an Iranian strike on five Air Force refueling planes in Saudi Arabia.

3:12Trump claimed it was quote intentionally misleading. Formula One has confirmed it will cancel two races in the Middle East next month due to the war in the Middle East. Rob Martyr is more. ESPN reports the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia won't be held as both countries have been attacked by Iran. F1 is not expected to replace the events which would cut the season down to 22 races. That would mean the Miami Grand Prix in May would be the first following the race in Japan at the end of March at present Mercedes and Ferrari are one two in the team standings. The maker of a popular protein bar is responding to a lawsuit that accuses the company of misleading consumers on calorie and fat numbers details from Michael Casner. A class action lawsuit filed in January alleges New York based David protein bars have 83% more calories than what's on the label and 400% more fat following tests. David protein CEO Peter Rahal is now responding saying those who file the lawsuit use the wrong measurements and methods to come up with the calorie count.

4:18David protein plans to fight the lawsuit in court. The price of an ad free video subscription is going up Amazon announced Friday that upgrading to the ad free tier will cost $4.99 per month starting April 10th on top of the cost for an Amazon Prime subscription.
