Meanwhile, multiple reports said Friday, a Marine Expeditionary Unit with 2500 soldiers and three amphibious assault ships are being sent to the region as Iran continues to target ships in the strait of Hormuz. The State Department has cut the fee Americans paid to renounce their U.S. citizenship. Under a new rule that went into effect on Friday, the fee was lowered by nearly 80% bringing the cost down from over $2,300 to $450. The State Department said in the rule that it lowered the fee as a policy decision to reduce

2:04the cost burden on people seeking a certificate of loss of nationality. The Department estimates that nearly 5,000 people apply each year for the certificate to renounce their citizenship. Each of the country is bracing for extreme weather conditions that include heat and snow. A lot of it, Lisa Taylor reports. The National Weather Service says the Los Angeles area will be hit with an extremely rare, long-duration heat wave starting Monday with temperatures up to 35 degrees above normal, lasting possibly through Friday. But before that, lizard warnings are expected this weekend for some parts of the country, meteorologist Bill Carrens… 22 million people will at least experience this winter storm.
