The FBI says the suspect who drove a truck into a synagogue near Detroit Thursday died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. FBI Special Agent Jennifer Runyon. Police vehicle, his engine compartment catches on fire. And at some point during the gunfight because Ali suffers a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Authorities have identified the man who drove the truck as 41-year-old Aman Mohamed Ghazali who was born in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States in 2011. Runyon added that some of the items found in the truck were highly volatile. In the bed of the truck, we found large quantities of commercial grade fireworks and several jugs of flammable liquid we believe to be gasoline, some of which has been consumed in the fire. Ghazali reportedly posted online the night before that several of his relatives had been killed in an Israeli air strike in southern Lebanon. The United States is reportedly sending more Marines and warships to the Middle East. That's according to multiple reports citing US officials. The reports say a Marine Expeditionary Unit with 2,500 Marines and three amphibious assault ships are being sent to the region. An amphibious ready group would also include 2,500 sailors. This comms as Iran continues to target ships in the strait of Hormuz. A group of people have been found guilty by a jury of antifa-related domestic terrorism charges for an ambush attack on a North Texas ice detention facility.
The attack took place in July of 2025 at the Prairie Land Ice Detention Center in Alvarado 25 miles south of Fort Worth. The suspect shot fireworks at the building damaged vehicles and two ice officers were fired upon with one getting struck in the neck. Larry David is releasing new details about his upcoming HBO comedy series. The curbure enthusiasm actor spoke at South by Southwest and said the show is titled, Life Larry and the pursuit of unhappiness and almost history of America. The show premieres on June 27th. I'm Rob Artier. Tennessee lawmakers are considering a plan to end the twice a year clock change. State Representative Chris Todd has introduced a bill that would eliminate daylight saving time and keep the state on standard time year round. The proposal would take effect in 2027 if approved by lawmakers and signed by the governor. Tennessee previously passed a law allowing permanent daylight saving time if Congress approves it, but federal action has never happened. NBC Universal is canceling multiple first-run syndication shows.
The decision comes after daytime TV audiences have dropped in the era of YouTube and streaming. The entertainment company is pulling the plug to access Hollywood, Caramo and the Steve Wilco show. Streaming in other aspects have made it hard for networks to justify spending money on the shows. A rookie in Alaska's I did a rod race is uninjured after encountering an aggressive bison on the trail. Daniel Martindale has the story. 48-year-old Jody Potts Joseph says she was about three miles out from the wrong checkpoint on Tuesday afternoon. When she rounded a corner and came face-to-face with the wild animal, Potts Joseph says the bison began to react aggressively and tried to charge her dog team. She grabbed her handgun and tried to fire at the bison but the gun jammed. Potts Joseph says that's when she started talking to the animal and her native tongue of the hung-witching people asking the bison to go away and have mercy on them. Potts Joseph says the bison then turned around and walked away. I'm Daniel Martindale. A woman is accused of illegally practicing dentistry from her Miami home.
54-year-old Kareem Kordova is charged with practicing dentistry without a license and possession of a controlled substance. Authorities launched an investigation after receiving an anonymous complaint. Undercover detectives made an appointment with Kordova for a tooth extraction leading to her arrest. Bradley Cooper is being eyeed to direct the new Oceans 11 prequel. This after director Lee Isaac Chung recently exited the project. This would be Cooper's fourth feature as director. I'm Rob Artier.
