They may not come on anybody's radar and they show up, but what happens when they show up? That's where training and preparation kicks in. The security staff did an amazing job, an amazing job. At least 31st responders were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after the truck caught fire. Federal authorities are calling a shooting at Virginia's Old Dominion University in act of terrorism. The gunman killed one person wounded two today. The White House is pushing back on a report warning threats against the West Coast from Iranian drones. In a post on X Press Secretary Caroline Levis said ABC News based its report on one email sent to California law enforcement about a single unverified tip. A former U.S. Capitol Police Officer and a DC Metropolitan Police Officer are pushing for the installation of a plaque honoring law enforcement to move forward. Harry Dunn and Daniel Hodges are two officers who defended the Capitol during the January 6, 2021 riot. And they argue the memorial's placement out of public view violates both the spirit and letter of the law. The two sued the architect of the Capitol last summer seeking to force the installation. It was finally put up over the weekend, but in an area that's not accessible to the public.
Now the two are continuing their push for a public placement, despite assertions that the location was only temporary. I'm Tammy Trujillo. President Trump is endorsing YouTuber-turned-a-boxer Jake Paul for any political office for which he may run. Trump spoke in an event in Kentucky on Wednesday. I'm going to make a prediction that you will be in the not too distant future running for a political office. And you have my complete and total endorsement, okay? Paul joined the president at the event where he said Trump had taught him the courage to never back down from a fight. Trump threw his support behind Paul, even though he hasn't actively campaigned for anything. I'm Mark Mayfield. One in five heart attacks in the U.S., but now occurring in people under the age of 40.
