Meanwhile, multiple reports, a outdated intelligence, may have led to a deadly school strike by the U.S. in Iran. Yesterday, President Trump said the U.S. had won the war, but also vowed to finish the job. Police are responding to an active shooter situation at a synagogue in Michigan. A large police presence can be seen at Temple Israel and West Bloomfield, that's northwest of Detroit. Smoke has also been seen coming from the building. The Jewish Federation of Detroit has ordered all Jewish organizations to activate a lockout protocol. There's no reports of injuries. Two people are injured after a gunman opened fire at Virginia's Old Dominion University this morning. Officials said the gunman is dead.

2:01The shooting happened just before 11 a.m. local time at the university's constant hall. The schools said the two people injured were taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries have not yet been released. Old Dominion has canceled classes and operations on its main campus for the remainder of the day. Stocks are way lower as oil prices continue to rise. The Dow has been down over 600 points at times today. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq has also been off over 1%. Meanwhile, the U.S. plans to release 172 million barrels of oil from the strategic petroleum reserve as the war against Iran rages on. I'm Lisa Carton. President Trump is touting the economy, speaking at a campaign rally-type speech in Hebron, Kentucky on Wednesday. Trump said he passed the biggest tax cuts in history through the passage of the big beautiful bill. The Biden and his allies in Congress, we were dead as a door now, we were dead country. 3:02Trump said there have been 53 all-time record stock market highs since his return to office and American 401Ks have increased by $35,000 on average. Earlier Wednesday, Trump was in Ohio during a pharmaceutical company in the Cincinnati area. Energy markets remain on edge as the war with Iran continues. Laura Westbrook reports. It comes as oil prices rose again. As reports said, two fuel tankers in Iraqi waters had been struck by Iranian boats. An Iraqi official reportedly told state media that its oil ports have completely stopped operations. Over nine three more ships came under suspected Iranian attack in the Persian Gulf. Oil prices spiked briefly again over $100 a barrel before dropping back down into the 90s. Iran has reportedly warned that oil prices could reach $200 a barrel. Yesterday, the International Energy Agency announced that its members will release 400 million barrels of oil from their reserve. The U.S. plans to release $172 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

4:06A former accountant for the late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein said he didn't know about his abuse of women until after his death. Richard Khan who handled Epstein's finances and other matters late in Epstein's life testified before the House Oversight Committee Wednesday. He said if he had known about his crimes he would have quit immediately. House Democrats in the closed-door hearing later said Khan testified about a settlement Epstein reached with a person who had made accusations against President Trump.
