President Trump is blaming Iran for a deadly strike on a school in the southern part of that country, launched shortly after Operation Epic Fury began. The president made the statement while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One today. We think it was done by Iran. You're still very inaccurate as you know,
with their conditions. They have no accuracy whatsoever. It was done by Iran. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the United States is still investigating the strike, according to Iranian authorities around 170 people were killed at the school. There's a bit of good news today for Americans looking to leave the Middle East as military operations continue. Dubai International Airport is resuming some flights today. Flights into and out of the major travel hub had been suspended temporarily after a suspected Iranian drone strike. A fire was reported at a main terminal. Passengers were ordered off planes. They had already boarded and the airport had to be evacuated for a time. No major injuries were reported. Six people are under arrest after suspicious devices were thrown during an anti-Islam protest outside Gracie Mansion, home of New York City Mayor Zoran Mandani. Lisa Selvati reports. Police say it happened around noon near the mayor's official home on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The anti-Islam protest was led by Jake Lang,
who was a January 6th far-right rioter, pardoned by President Trump. ABC7 reports it was also a counter-protest and that two of those protesters lit in through devices with at least one device generating smoke. Two counter-protesters were arrested for allegedly handling the devices, while four others were charged with disorderly conduct. I'm Lisa Selvati in New York. A new survey shows shoppers are changing their habits due to inflation. The survey by the Kirini Institute found more than half of those taking parts said they're dining out less, while 44% are buying fewer clothes, and 37% are substituting for cheaper brands. I'm Rob Barter. Governor Gavin Newsom is naming former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California Hall of Fame. Schwarzenegger will join eight other inductees who, quote, represent the best of the California spirit. Six months ago, the former governor's name was not included in an early list of inductees, Newsom previewed at a reception. That came after Schwarzenegger publicly opposed Proposition 50,
Newsom's redistricting effort that later passed. Schwarzenegger created the California Hall of Fame when he was in office. Airbnb is paying homeowners a bonus to list their houses for rent during the World Cup if it's near New Jersey's Met Life Stadium. Scott Pringle reports. Airbnb has listed dozens of zip codes near Met Life Stadium where new hosts would get $750 in addition to the money they'd get for the rental. They would have to have one rental by the end of July and not have had an active home listing prior to February 1st to get the bonus money. Officials say there's been a huge demand for the short term stage during the period of the World Cup which runs from mid-June through July 19th. Met Life Stadium's hosting eight matches. Folks in British Columbia will move their clocks ahead hour this Sunday and then never again. Tammy Trujillo explains. The Canadian province is permanently adopting daylight saving time. Officials say changing the clocks every year creates problems. Everything from lost sleep to an increased number of car accidents. The new time zone will be called Pacific Time.
I'm Tammy Trujillo. Don't forget before you go to bed this evening move those clocks ahead one hour. Meanwhile, daylight saving time has documented health effects on humans but it can also impact dogs. It can cause some house pets to wonder why their feeding schedule seems different at first but it can also have a more significant effect on working dogs. Researchers at the University of Toronto looked at how daylight saving time affected sled dogs. They found that the time switch led to an increase in activity before their handlers arrived but the dogs got back to normal after one or two days. I'm Rob Martyr.
