The bodies of six American soldiers killed during Operation Epic Fury arrived back in the United States today. President Trump and other senior officials took part in the dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The president spoke prior to leaving for Dover. Very sad situation.

1:00To greet the families of the heroes coming home from Iran, coming home in a different manner than they thought they'd be coming home. But they're great heroes in our country. The six Army Reserve soldiers died in an attack in Kuwait on Sunday, the day after the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran. All six service members were based in Des Moines, Iowa. The State Department says over 28,000 American citizens have returned to the U.S. from the Middle East. Lisa Carton reports. In an update on Saturday, officials said the numbers don't include Americans who safely relocated to other countries or were still in transit back to the U.S. They noted the agency's 24-7 Task Force has also helped over 16,000 Americans abroad, offering security guidance and travel assistance. The State Department said it is actively assisting American citizens who want to leave the Middle East. I'm Lisa Carton. Officials say at least eight people have died as severe storms and tornadoes sweep through parts of the Midwest and plains.

2:02Four people were confirmed dead in Michigan, including a 12-year-old boy. In Oklahoma, an EF2 tornado killed a mother and daughter Thursday. Then another tornado left two people dead and several others injured on Friday. There have been 13 confirmed tornadoes across both states. Police say two people are in custody after suspicious devices were found outside of Gracie Mansion, the official home of the mayor of New York City. It happened today as an anti-Islam demonstration was being held outside the mansion by conservative influencer Jake Lang. The NYPD says no injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
