The House is set to vote on a war power's resolution that restricts President Trump from continuing military action in Iran. The effort is seen as symbolic as Trump said he would likely veto the measure if it's passed. This comes as Iran vows revenge after the U.S. sunk one of its warships. And Iran's foreign minister says his country is confident it can counter any potential U.S. ground invasion.

1:05Speaking in an interview with NBC News, he said he believes the operation has been a failure for the U.S. so far. It is clear that the U.S. has failed to achieve its main goal, which was clean, rapid victory. The foreign minister said his country has never had a positive experience. As oil prices rise amid the conflict, the Dow Jones industrial average has been down over 900 points at times today. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ have also been lower. Today's show co-anchors Savannah Guthrie stopped by the New York City studio today as the search for her mother in southern Arizona continues.

2:08A spokesperson says Guthrie visited to thank her colleagues for their support more than a month after her 84-year-old mother's disappearance. The spokesperson says she does plan to return to the show, but for now is focused on supporting her family and working to bring her mother home. Brittany Spears has been arrested in California for driving under the influence. She was arrested in Ventura County last night, but has since been released. Her manager told TMZ the incident is completely inexcusable and that she'll take the right steps and what is a long overdue change she needs in her life. I'm Chris Caragio. Private employers in the U.S. added 63,000 jobs last month according to private payroll process or ADP. That's more than expected and the most monthly gains since last July. The findings showed job creation was led by construction, education and health care. Eddie Bauer is calling off a planned bankruptcy auction for its remaining brick and mortar stores. The outdoor apparel retailer filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy last month after more than a century in operation. The hope was to find a buyer willing to snap up some if not all of its 174 stores.

3:11Having no luck in attracting such a buyer, a bankruptcy auction scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. As for shoppers, they're being reminded to use up any gift cards that may be lying around by this time next week, and to keep in mind that all sales are now final at Eddie Bauer. Donna Summer and Leonard Skinner are making their return to the Billboard charts thanks to the Winter Olympics. Mark Mayfield fills us in. Summer's track MacArthur Park was used by American figure skater Alyssa Lou for her routine that earned her a gold medal. Thanks to that exposure, Summer's song landed in the top spot on the dance digital song sales chart at the end of February. At the same time, Leonard Skinner's free bird got a boost on three different charts. After it became the unofficial anthem for the U.S. men and women's hockey teams. Beach Boys member Bruce Johnston is quitting the legendary band, the vocalist, a songwriter, bassist and keyboardist.

4:13First joined the band way back in 1965 when he would fill in for founder Brian Wilson during live performances. His first vocals were on the iconic hit, California Girls. Johnston also wrote the big hit, I Write the Songs, which Barry Manelow reached number one with in 1976. The 83 year old said he's going to spend the next part of his career developing speaking engagements. Johnston's departure leaves Mike Love as the only original member left in the touring band.
