The victim's identity has not been released. No word on a motive. A Florida man is accused of attacking the owner of a Chinese restaurant claiming to save people from a new COVID strain.

3:03Richard Jarvis was arrested for aggravated battery assault and burglary in connection to the COVID related conspiracy. He claimed to be a prophet who was trying to save people from a future pandemic. Police say Jarvis entered the building in Orange County on Monday and attacked the owner after destroying the food, sauces and utensils. A former Yosemite National Park Ranger is suing the National Park Service after being fired last summer for helping display a transgender pride flag on El Capitan. Shannon S.J. Jocelyn claims the termination violated her rights man amounted to punishment for supporting the transgender community. Jocelyn says she participated in the flag display as a private citizen, not in her role as a park employee. Her attorneys argue the firing reflects a broader anti-transgender policy under the Trump administration, while the National Park Service has not publicly detailed its reasoning for the dismissal. Molly Ringwald is joining the recurring cast of the Showtime series, Yellow Jackets, for its final season.
