The Kent State Shootings in 1970 have become an infamous case in American history. But while many may know that the National Guard killed students on Kent's campus, there is so much more to the story.  In part 1, we examine the environment and factors that setup the tragedy that would unfold on the Kent State campus on May 4, 1970.
