Well, I mean, I guess start with the Raiders statement. Yeah, I guess and because that's how we all found out we weren't even out of the parking garage. No, DJ saw it and put it in our Slack channel. DJ works overtime. I just want to let people know that he won't go for no, he doesn't, he doesn't work during our shift post seven o'clock and the man is still grinded. He really catches his, you notice that? Ham how hard he works? No. When you do it right, it's like you did nothing at all. Exactly. That's what I do. All right. 702 p.m. Last night, we're off the air at seven. They will not let us go longer at 702 this drops from at Raiders. The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Max Crosby.

2:26We will have no further comment at this time. Okay. My first question, NFL go boom. My first question before anything from the Raiders perspective. How do they sign all these guys that they signed? I know and they said that we're going to honor all these contracts. How? Like, what do you do? Do they have room or are they going to have to hurry up and restructure some stuff? I don't know. I, you know, there might be some restructure, but the Raiders can have money problems. Probably not. That's a big nut, though. Don't you need players? Yeah. You do, but they signed a lot of guys, man, and a lot of money linked to that and I, okay, okay. So that's first question number one, question number two. The Ravens are sorry as the day is long because this is they are getting torched. This has nothing to do with the physical because Max Crosby, as everybody knows, had meniscus surgery and it's like, you think he walked in to the Ravens offices with

3:28crutches on and they're like, what, what, what? We didn't know. We had no one he told us this. Yeah. That is the reason that the Ravens gave is that there was something in his physical that was alarming to them and that's why they backed out of the trade. And remember, we did a segment on this with the Micotrade because a big part of the Micotrade was that he had a back injury at camp or a quote unquote back injury in camp. And at least briefly, there was a question of, you know, do the Packers want to take a look at his back before they approve this trade? And I believe what I said that day still holds, which is if you've played in the NFL at that position for a number of years, there's absolutely no such thing as a clean physical. There's simply no such thing.

4:28And so as an NFL team, you definitely don't want to acquire at the price points for sure in injured player, but make no mistake. Their bodies are wrecked and it's only going one direction as a career goes on. Like there are things like you can find reasons to fail a physical. That's why some of the medical reports that come out before the combine that so and so, you know, has a ACL that looks, you know, just like it might be a little bit degenerative or things of there are a million things that are all these almost actuary table projections on an athlete and his body. And none of them are perfect if they've been professionals and just beating on that thing. So start there. There's no question that the process of a team acquiring somebody and then being able to give him my physical examination to make sure he's not broken is necessary.

5:30And the right and ability to fail a physical is also necessary, even though it disrupts our new cycle and everybody would go nuts when a trade happens of this magnitude and then you pull it off the table, but this doesn't seem to be that at all. This seems to be remorse cold feet regret. Trey Hendrickson is not getting a deal. We could give him less than Max Crosby and keep our two number once. And that is foul play, man. That is dirty pool. Well, and have you seen the damage control from the Ravens GM, Eric DeCosta? So he was quoted today saying he's gutted that they had to pull out of the trade. And he also claimed that the addition of Trey Hendrickson wasn't a pivot that they had considered teaming both Max Crosby with Trey Hendrickson.

6:31Such a lie. And you know what? I think they were trying to trade for Miles Garrett too. Yeah. Like just let's just get everybody that we can in here. It's so cheap and underhanded and you know what happened. It all went down whatever you however you think it went down unless you're like a hardcore Ravens fan, you know how it went down. They made the deal. There was a immediate regret like within an hour and I wonder what the blowback was in Baltimore among fans and the media like that's way too much to give for Max Crosby. Right. And there always is like you were saying, Bob, there is a way out. You can take a physical and especially if there is a guy that not only has wear and tear, but a recent procedure done, you can always spin it in your favor however you want. Yep. Yeah, but he is, but he is evidently exactly where he is expected to be in his recovery right now. Of course. Of course. And at some point in that 48 hour window, however long it took from the time the deal was done until yesterday last night at seven o'clock, would you not pay all the monies

7:37to have a recording of what the Ravens, what their process was to go to get to this point of man, you were so happy we got Max were high five in. We're doing all this stuff. Yeah. This is where we need hard knocks. Oh, dude. We need a camera crew in that Ravens room where they're patching this ridiculous idea because there was the moment just like in every single war room in the draft where everybody is super stoked. You pull the trade off. Get your guy. We're back in it, man. Shake it hands. Yes. Buying steaks. We took a year off. I mean, it probably looked like the Maverick's War room when they got Cooper flag this they were all going crazy in there. And then suddenly it starts to just wane a little bit piece by piece. And then here he comes and crutches and he's got the neck brace on and and he's got the handicap sticker on his car and you're like, man, what have we done? So if you look at Max's Twitter, he's he's posted two things since this went down last

8:41night. One, he retweeted something from his agent. His agent says Max continues to be on track in his recovery. And if anything is ahead of schedule, according to his surgeon, Dr. Neil L. Attrache, Max remains on track to return during the off season program and will undoubtedly return as the dominant game record. He's been these past seven seasons. So he he reposted that. And then he also coincidentally celebrated his sober anniversary today. So he wrote three eleven twenty six years sober. God doesn't make mistakes. And wasn't he posting things? I'm not sure if it was on Twitter, maybe it was Instagram like being in Baltimore and oh, so great. And look at this. And here's where they filmed the wire and I don't I don't know either way on that. I do think he was pretty hyped and and so were the Ravens. And this is a really fascinating story because obviously in this league, there are times

9:44where you want to examine somebody to make sure, but there's also a a common sense decorum that your word is worth something. And that's why it probably goes higher than Eric DeCosta. This is probably an ownership call, right? And then if you're the GM, you got to fall in the sword. I mean, that's what I'm guessing is probably yeah, is the the owner is just like, look, that feels like we just did something wrong. But this just soures the rest of the league on ever working with the Ravens again. It should. And I think that something penal should. Oh, oh, no. Next. Cowboys are trading. Oh, so diggyzua to the 49ers. Whoa, no details in the trade. Wow, it's really happening. Okay, that was rumored earlier today that the cowboys were looking to get out of also

And whether he didn't fit scheme wise or whether they had soured on him somehow, or he's just the odd man out of high price defensive tackles, but why would you do that to the youngest one of them? I don't know. Do you get your, what do you get for it? Fourth, third? We're going to need to find this out, aren't we? Man, are you clearing space to now trade for Max Crosby? Well, I thought the rumor was that OSA was part of the package. Well, that they're never initially it was. It was. Can we carry this over? Yeah, we can.
