0:00Good evening, this is the Daily Light for March 27th. Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart, not be yours to me, save that thou art. God is faithful. God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent. Hathy said, and shall he not do it, or hathy spoken, and shall he not make it good, the Lord swear and will not repent. God willing more abundantly to show unto the errors of promise, the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath,

1:00that by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation. Who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well-doing as unto a faithful creator. I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. All the promises of God in him are ye, and in him amen, until the glory of God by us. You've just been listening to The Daily Light, a daily morning and evening devotional of Scripture compiled by Samuel Baxter, and published in 1825.

2:06So bright heaven's sun, hard upon your heart, whatever before. Still be my vision, O ruler of God. Though with them only first in my heart, hiking up and my treasure thaw.
