The Charlie Brown nation

About this episode

The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Have you ever seen a Charlie Brown cartoon where he wants Lucy to hold the football so he can kick it? And every time, Lucy pulls the football away, and Charlie Brown ends up flat on his back. Don’t you think Charlie Brown should have learned his lesson? When I look at the American people, I see Charlie Brown, flying through the...

Music Helping to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, this is the Constitution Study on the America Out Loud Network with your host Paul Engel. Albert Einstein said that doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. I guess Americans are insane because we never seem to learn our lesson. Hello there everyday Americans Paul Engel you're here with the Constitution Study where we read and instead of the Constitution teacher I should be free. Glad you could join me today. You know I'm looking at the news and well what does he all say? Everything old is new again. We never seem to learn our lesson and it just seems to be over and over and

over again. So I'm gonna take a couple of looks. I want to start out in Chicago. I talked the other day about the Supreme Court declining to hear a case about Illinois law prohibiting lawful carry-on public transportation including the Chicago Transit Authority and this myth that the CTA is somehow a gun-free zone. These create gun-free zones. Now what I find ironic is literally just a few days before the court decided not to hear the case a Chicago man who was already on probation for a federal weapons offense is now facing new gun charges because he was found with a loaded firearm at a Southside CTA station. So according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office around 5.40 pm on March 31st at 95th and Dan Ryan and Luke Redline stopped officers conducted a routine check of the platform. They reported seeing a gun by an

inf Carl Adams cross between trained cars using the emergency doors. This is both a safety hazard and a violation of CTA rules. When Adams was taken into custody for disorderly conduct they discovered during a pat down that he had a loaded gun. So this idea that gun-free zones are actually gun-free zones is a myth and no matter how many times we see this happen no matter how many times you talk about you know well you know guns were brought into a gun-free zone to commit crime we still people still call them or for them as gun-free zones when they're not gun-free zones. That is a myth that is a narrative that is used to try and make people feel better about taking away the rights of themselves or other individuals because people are afraid of the wrong thing. They're afraid of the inanimate object rather than well the person actually wielding the object. You see when a government entity creates a so-called gun-free zone they always exempt the exempt their own people from that regulation meaning well the government

actors junk the form of law enforcement but sometimes others they are allowed to carry firearms so it's not a gun-free zone it's supposed to be a citizen gun-free zone but even that's not true because as we've seen multiple times of four criminals come in with guns meaning it's not a gun-free zone it's a legal gun it's a legal gun-free zone meaning only the law-biting citizen is disarmed that's a better it's the lawful it's a law-biting citizen disarmament zone we're going to take away the guns from the people who are allowed to have the guns and we're not gonna but we can't stop the people who are not allowed to have guns to have guns so we're basically making the I know what you call it this is the citizen sheepfold because you're making them people defenseless sheep and then punishing them for actually being able to fend myself now this case is even worse because this guy was not only barred from carrying a firearm because he was on a CTA line but he is already on prison probation for a federal

weapons charge meaning he's already prohibited from carrying a firearm he's prohibited from possessing a firearm but it didn't stop him now how often do you have to step on a rake and get smashed in the face before you learn to look where you're walking and not step on the rake apparently when it comes to gun-free zones the answer is we never learn to not step on the rake because this is happening in Chicago by the way it's not just Chicago do you realize that federal that US military bases are considered gun-free zones that's right it sounds ridiculous we take these young people we hand them guns and say go you know kill for us defend us all around the world but when you come home to your base oh no no you you can't have a gun to actually protect yourself not here at home only when we send you into harm's way anyone remember the the multiple forthood shootings or the shooting at the Navy yard the Chattanooga Chattanooga recruiting station Naval Air Station Pents of Gola Fort Stewart

home and Air Force Base these were all attacks made on unarmed US military officers see it's virtually impossible for a member of the military much less their family members to get permission to carry and even store their own personal firearms on military bases even if they're following the laws of the state where the base is located meaning if you live on base you can't carry your own firearm to protect yourself well Paul it's a military base yeah and just like any other small city MPs are not everywhere as we can see these attacks have happened leaving our military men and women the people who have volunteered to defend this country and their families defenseless now you may be thinking those dirty rotten Democrats they've taken away all right it wasn't the Democrats it started this back in 1992 George H. W. Bush his

administration let's see H. W. H. W. was that a Republican or a Democrat that's right he's he was an elephant and they decided that well the military needed to be more professional more business like and they created tighter and tighter restrictions on firearms then in 93 Clinton implemented restrictions effectively banning soldiers from carrying personal firearms on base so it didn't start it then you know the Clinton may have done it but it started with H. W. and which still that way today again like any other civilian police force the military police guard the base entrances but they can't be everywhere so you know I you know it's what happened to the I carry a firearm because I can't carry an MP we trust these people with weapons far beyond what

they're trying to carry they're talking I want to carry a you know a sidearm maybe even a semi-automatic an AR-15 in my home or shotgun to protect my family no you can't do that if you're on a military base now if that sounds absolutely crazy to you well join the club but here we are 30 plus years almost 35 years after the Johnson started and it is still nearly impossible for our men and women under arms the military to actually be able to carry their own weapons to protect themselves and their families went on base and it's like I said that's a very point it's not like well an attack on a basis no one would actually attack a military base yeah well it's happened multiple times just this century what what are we ever going to learn our lesson apparently not oh

I knew I tell about learning a lesson haha we got to go to California we got to go to California because I've been hearing them talk about their their quote-unquote bullet train it seems like forever now that I know they were talking about it planning about it I don't remember how long I mean they they started talking about it I know at least as far back as 2008 in 2015 they actually be officially began the project of this train I think was supposed to originally supposed to go from San Francisco or Sacramento all the way down to San Diego now in 2008 the there was a a ballot measure where the people of California approved building a a train line connecting Los Angeles San Francisco in less than three hours they estimated to cost $33 billion it was supposed to be completed completed back in 2020 and they said of course this is gonna be

great it's gonna cut pollution it's gonna revitalize local economies it'll get rid of the California Los Angeles famous gridlock is 2026 not only is a project not completed not a single mile of track has been laid all right 2008 to 2026 I don't know if you can do the math but that's 18 years and not and they haven't laid a mile of track yet oh by the way they've they've shrunk the route to just Bakerfield to Merced and the price has gone from $33 billion to all hundred and 26 billion dollars now you know it was infamous Charlie Brown you know we would always want to get the football and Lucy would hold the football and as Charlie Brown came running up she'd pull the football away so he'd land flat on his back and every time you saw that in the cartoon you knew what was

going to happen if you think it's Charlie Brown don't do it but the people in California like Charlie Brown they keep swinging at this bullet train football and it keeps getting yanked away from them and they never ever ever ever seem to learn their lesson and again with a new estimated cost of a hundred and twenty six billion dollars in government subsidies guess what someone's making a lot of money and it's not the people of California I saw this this one post on X is it Hans Mankin he said if you gave a hundred and twenty six billion dollars to subsidize free flights between L.A. and San Francisco at the current demand levels you could fund between a hundred and fifty and two hundred years of travel before the money runs out think about that for a second before you ran out you went through a hundred and twenty six billion dollars you're talking

at least a century and a half to two centuries of travel between L.A. and San Francisco and you'd still have money left over does that makes does it mean the bullet train or is it just people they love the idea of train you know when we're kids like small young boys we love train right electric train sets and push train sets and we just love trains it's like some people never actually grew up they love the idea of these trains the fact that they don't make economic or or in some cases physical sense we can figure it out we're just going to spend all of your money on these projects that never seemed to actually come to pass and hit the people of California keep electing the same idiots to their legislature to waste their money on this boondoggle and like any other con artist as long as you keep giving them money they're going to keep taking the money and yes I said con artist because that's what they are the

politicians in Sacramento have conned the people of California into this fairy tale belief that we'll magically be able to build this rail in some of those in some case some of those congested land in the nation but we're going to find room to put in these high-speed rail lines with enough room to be safe from the the people around it so you're not in danger you know homes and people around the track and we're going to be able to do it with all the regulatory who hurdles that California is famous for and we're going to be able to do it for nearly oh let's call it four times the original cost we'll be able to do that and they keep going for it they never learn their lesson and you know what I wish we're only California but it's not you look at the nation as a whole how often are we gonna fall for the same lie over and over and over again seems like pretty much every time which makes you think that the

American people are actually insane now if we actually oh I don't know red instead of the Constitution taught the rise in generation be free taught people to sink and analyze and sink critically not just emotionally if we taught people to to question and push back against their politicians rather than just following along with every promise they're told well maybe this mess wouldn't be as bad as it is but we haven't done that we've literally taken our children 90% of the children in this country at the age of five we hand them to government say you teach them does the government teach them to be free does the government teach them to question government or does this teach them to sit down shut up and and do what they're told well that lesson of sit down shut up and do your raise your hand if you have to go to the bathroom raise your hand if you have a question be careful because if you piss off the teacher you're gonna

get a bad grade that lesson has been well and truly cemented in the psyche of the American people so I don't think we'll ever learn our lesson no matter how many times gun-free zones are proven not to be gun-free no matter times we we show that military bases are not necessarily safe even here in the US no matter how many times we we we get lied to by our politicians and get sold a bill of goods it just seems you're going to ask that question over we're gonna do the same thing over and over and over again this time though this time it'll be different yeah insane now I have a break coming up before I go I want to let you know I've been invited to keynote at the the Lake County chapter of the Constitution Party of Florida this May 16th from 5 to 9 p.m. find out more go to constitutionstudy.com slash events you'll see the panel for that and

bars are based on chocolate or fruit and are held together with serps or sweeteners to learn more just visit bear bar dot com slash out loud welcome back every American to rejoin the Constitution steady today we never learn our lesson that's kind of our theme for a day because how often do we have to be kicked in the teeth by those who people are supposed to represent us before we start saying maybe we don't want you to represent us maybe we need better people to exercise our authority in our name now if california is one of the classic places the other place have to go to is New York City yes I was born there but boy to see what the city is fallen to it's it's really saddening you see they not only did they decide that they're gonna hire a socialist man I'm not a people focus on the fact that he's Islamic but to me they hired a socialist in in the capitalist mecca of the United States

possibly the world wall street they hired a socialist to be their their their mayor and of course he made all sorts of promises well how can you tell on a politician's line yet their lips are moving now one of the promises on down he made was a free buses apparently he's not actually going to be able to deliver on that or at least not right away so he's going to be pairing down this pilot program to do free buses because there is no such thing as free busing right buses cost money you don't just magically appear out of the ground you don't plan a magic being an outcomes of bus you have to buy the buses they cost money oh yeah and those buses require fuel so you got to pay for the fuel then of course you have to have someone to drive the bus you got to pay that person of course the buses are mechanical things they need

maintenance you got to pay for all that so someone's got to pay for all of this and you know well let's just face is mandami's been writing checks at his treasury can't cash so oh no well he's committed he said that he's still committed absolutely committed to making buses fast and free well maybe he should just be committed because that's insane and maybe anybody that believes him maybe they should be committed well as well because again that's insane every place that try to do free buses it doesn't work why because there's no such thing as free somebody's got to pay for all this which means if it's not being paid by bus fares is being paid for by tax payers and you can only spend those dollars once no matter how often politicians try to spend them two three four times it doesn't work that way sure people living on that the legislative advisement talking about this they've been they want to include language to support a a a a a free bus pilot program but again talk is cheap

can't talk doesn't cost you anything it's the actual program the actual product that actually costs something and and that's what you can't do you can talk all you want let's face it there's one thing a politician is good as generating hot air but one of the people of New York City one of the people who arrest the country going to realize there is no such thing as a free lunch you cannot have free busing you cannot have free health care you cannot have free education they do not exist someone is paying for it and I don't know about you but I'm not real thrilled about paying for somebody else's largest oh we want to give free busing because I don't make us look good I don't want to pay for you then if you want free busing mr. Andami cough up the box you cough up the box you get your supporters let's start coughing up money to pay for the busing program don't ask the taxpayers to do it because then you're gonna say it's not free no you do it

when you start reaching into your own pocket and the pocket of your contributors then I'll consider supporting it and not a nanosecond before now here's the other thing goes by now he's going to all these these crimes we're going to deal with these crimes and these hate crimes and and all that it's terrible he's he's going to come in and like some magician take care of that problem right well listen to this press conference given by the NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tish now switching to hate crimes confirmed hate crimes increased nearly 12% this quarter city wide we continue to see that the vast majority of our hate crimes are anti-semitic in nature in fact in the first quarter of 2026 more than half of all confirmed hate crimes are 55% were anti-semitic despite Jews only making up approximately 10% of the population of New York city okay so New York City still has a a hate crime a growing hate crime

problem in one quarter of the of 20 of the first quarter 2026 hate crimes have increased 12% city wide and the majority of those hate crimes interesting enough are anti-semitic they are against the Jews that yes Jews make up only approximately 10% of the population of New York City but that is a lot larger than a lot of other cities in the nation you know there's a large Jewish compliment even if it's only 10% of the population yet more than half of the hate crimes are against Jews what happened to you know all the hate crimes against we can't we have to have hate crimes against Muslims you can't mention the Mondommy's moment you're gonna instigate hate crimes against Muslims I guess that hasn't appeared in fact the hate crime seems to be going against Muslims enemy the Jews I'm not saying that's anything to do with Mondommy being a Muslim I'm saying let's look at the data so New York City has a hate and of course I hate the term hate crime because it's kind of this made up

term to be a crime against somebody we want extra protection not equal protection of the law extra protection of the law and so here you have the commissioner of the NYPD they've identified a problem what are they going to do about it these cases are investigated by the NYPD hate crimes task force which determines whether an incident meets the legal standard for hate crime under New York state law as of today and for the first time our monthly hate crime data will include two clear accurate sets of numbers reported hate crimes those flagged for investigation by the task force and confirmed hate crimes as determined by the task force that is the gold standard for reporting on hate crimes and that is what we are going to do going forward you're telling me that the you have a problem a growing problem of these hate crimes crimes where

you know you commit the same crime against two different people one it's a crime one it's a hate crime that that itself is a violation of the 14th amendment because it's not equal protection under the law but you're going to deal with it by saying well now we're going to report not only reported hate crimes but ones that we've confirmed that's the gold standard of dealing with this is pointing out the hate crimes really that is the best the NYPD can do one of the greatest police forces in this country the best you can do is report not only those that we people claim or hate crimes but ones we've actually confirmed our hate crimes how many Jews in New York City do you think feel safer right now huh how many people feel safer knowing that well at least if a hate crime is committed against me then well you know at least to get listed properly somebody might actually confirm it's a hate crime and maybe that'll be put me on lists seems

me small comfort for the victims of those crimes for their families and for the people in those neighborhoods that are now terrified that something might happen to them because hate hate these quote unquote hate crimes are growing and nobody seems to be doing anything about it except reporting it but then again we're dealing with New York City one of the centers of stupid in this country and for those you don't know New York City has a tremendous influence on state law because of the population it represents a significant portion of the public a lot of the people and in Albany in the government live work in New York City and there's a lot of influence so what is New York decided to do to deal with these hate crimes well there's a pair of legislators that want to enact a new law that would require gun shops to post warning signs you know like they put on cigarettes decades ago warning this stuff is the surgeon

general is determined that this is called cancer they're gonna put signs not just signs they want to put graphic signs that say yes shooting someone with gun can actually kill them that New York City is already requires gun stores opposed to written warnings now they want to include again graphic images I guess trying to I don't know scare people into being smarter with their firearms as if that is really the problem is people don't know the guns are dangerous really that's the that's that's New York solution another sign reminding people that that guns can be dangerous if not properly handled not properly stored or is this just another example of the state of New York trying to discourage people from exercising their rights protected by the second member of the Constitution to keep and bear arms now listen I've been a gun owner my entire adult life I grew up with guns and you know what no gun of mine has ever harmed

another human being no gun in my possession no gun in my that I've owned it no gun of my family is on why well because the first thing my father taught me was how to be safe for the firearm by the way I love teaching people I it's one with one of my favorite things to do is take someone who's never handled a gun before and teach them how to safely handle a firearm and actually shoot a firearm and again safely safety is like is drilled into the process because guns are dangerous but do you really think someone that's going to a gun store to buy a gun is is the type of person is going to go out and use it to commit a crime no what they like is they like to put up these these these lies these made of things that that you know having a gun in the home significantly increases the chance of someone being shot only if that person's a criminal you get a cap of the criminals no that that's not that's not true but again yes you have to be safe you know my guns are you know everyone in my house is an adult or

my house knows how to deal with handle guns when strangers come over when you know if they're young people around those guns are made sure they're locked otherwise we are careful with our guns I don't think another sign saying guess what folks guns are dangerous makes a darn bit of difference but no matter how many times these things happen and they're proved to be useless we'll go back to the same well over and over all we had to put up a sign well that's not good enough we got to put up a scary sign yeah like one that shows a white casket with pink flowers goes with a teddy bear because it guns could be used could hurt you yeah they can and if you're a smart person you make sure that doesn't happen but you see in the state of New York the Empire they don't think people can think for themselves they think they're too stupid to realize that what guns are dangerous now are there people that are stupid with their guns yes there are and those people should be punished for their bad actions but

those of us who are safe with our firearms why should we be punished well all right this is an punishment the punishment is to the the gun store owner who may be fined if he doesn't put up this these graphic images trying to dissuade people from doing business with him does that sound like a violation of freedom of speech certainly sounds like one to me but what are we gonna do right it's only the government how stupid can they be and how often can we listen to their failures and keep hiring the same type of people to do the same thing over and over and over again and again this is just New York City of course we talked last time about about California and Chicago this is New York City and I I really wish that this was the end of it I wish this were all that we had to deal with but there's so much more I mean people wonder why I say I'm a refugee from the empire I was born in New York City I lived most of my life in upstate New York I live most my life in New York state and I escaped I ran for

Tennessee I ran for freedom because I got tired of the these ridiculous and coercive legislation again designed not so much to protect the rights of the individual but to note the political agenda of the politician regardless of what the Constitution laws of the United States actually say that's why I left I got tired of being lied to by them of course I get lied to down here just not as much about different things you see we have to remember the politicians they're lobbied right a lot of the stuff they come up with may not even be from the room they people come in the live they're promoting ideas they're donating to get stuff their their their their groups are trying to attack our rights kind of an end round right go pass the people right to the politicians how do we stop funding these people would you be surprised to know that many of the corporations you do business with every day are actually funding organizations trying to deprive you of your rights let's stop it you can start by

your first order I cannot tell a lie my sinuses are blocked George you crossed the Delaware you can cross congestion here try clear freedom smells like victory come celebrate 250 years of American independence but the America out loud 250 independence day celebration in Nashville on July 2nd through fourth go to america to five zero Nashville dot com use code XLE AR for 20 percent of admission clear breathe in the independence I'm Doug Evans author of the sprout book and I'm also a father with a three-year-old daughter and that's why we grow sprouts did you know that you could take seeds add water and get fresh organic vegetables in three to five days without soil sunshine or fertilizer for under a dollar serving that's the miracle of spouting and I

want to share that with you go to the spouting company dot com slash out loud and use the code out loud for a special offer welcome back every day americans you rejoin the constitution study day we never learn it seems like no matter how many times you go through these we just never ever seem to learn I remember a few years ago when a group called a little sister the poor the state tried to get them to require the Obama the the Obamacare try to get these these nuns to have abortion coverage in their health insurance even though one against there were sincerely held beliefs it was against their religious occupation they tried to and I believe they the Obamacare lost well it's apparently happening again this time it's a little differently there was a complaint filed by the Dominican sisters sisters

of author they they run a a care facility in New York state to provide care for well poor cancer patients right people who can't afford other sorts of treatment they filed this complaint claiming that the state law that they recognize transgender affirmations violates their religious liberty Senate bill 1783 a establishes what it refers to as the LGBT long-term care facility resident bill of rights and they're trying to prevent discrimination against residents by discriminating against private operators notice these are not state facilities these are as a private organization and they claim to discriminate against actual perceived sexual orientation gender identity or expression according to the New York state Senate but again that is not that that is not via due process of law due process is a as a legal or judicial

process designed to protect the rights of the individual now I understand that someone may have this they have this mental disorder but you cannot force a private entity to comply with the delusion of the state which is why the sisters have filed their complaint claiming a violation of both the first and 14th amendments now this is not a first amendment violation why the first five words of the first amendment Congress shall make no law Congress didn't make this law it's not a first amendment violation it is however a violation of the 14th amendment because the state has passed a law that deprived these sisters of their liberty without due process of law it deprived them of their property the property they have in their in their care facility without due process of law it's a clear 14th amendment violation now I don't know about you but history has shown me that courts really are kind of stupid about this

why well most courts I know of are the most at least federal courts that I've followed will look at this well is it a first amendment violate because of 14th amendment somehow rewrote the first amendment even though there's no language in the 14th amendment that actually says so not even close but the law so look at and say well you know you've got conflicting rights you're yes you have ownership rights you have property rights you have liberty rights versus someone who wants to use a private organization and then tell them how to run their business this has been they tried it once with Obamacare the down New York states trying it again I don't know how they're going to end up the courts because I don't trust the federal courts as far as I could throw the Supreme Court building because they have what time and time and time again shown their oath to the Constitution means less than the toilet paper they used to wipe their backside and yes I mean it they do not care about their oath of the Constitution because I don't care what the Constitution says they're

more worried about what previous courts have said and so who knows this is a this is a crapshoot for this is I wish them well but trying to tell people they have to participate and someone else's delusion is a blatant violation of the Constitution of the state of New York I believe I know it's a violation of the Constitutionized states do we really believe that it's not going to that the courts are going to side with the rights of the people over the government they're a part of okay here's another one so thankfully lately I haven't been flying that much lately I say thankfully because flying really has become a nightmare it used to be fun to go flying now it's nothing but a pan in the backside you got TSA which is time and time and time again shown they are incompetent at actually recognizing weapons and and bombs when you know all the stress testes where people bring in

fakes to see if they get caught how often it's like 80 90% of the time TSA doesn't catch them well now we've got a new one and that's a a a a a legislature legislator who wants the department of Homeland Security to bring back the the the shoes off at your airport porno screening so it's bad enough that you've got a group of people incoming people they say they're there to keep us safe they're doing a bad job at it they send you through a porno scanner or they give you a good grope and now they want you to do it in your stocking feet why well according to senator duckworth not the let's just say not the the sharpest pencil in the box said she wrote a letter to the acting administrator of DHS saying secretary known's decision to implement a shoes on policy on july 8th 2025 likely without meaningful consultation with TSA was a reckless act all right well it's just

likely in other words you don't know if she can sold it with TSA or not so right now missed off work your words mean less than pub kiss and it's reckless why remember the shoes off was because somebody the infamous shoe bomber right guy packed explosives in the souls of a shoe tried to lie down on a plane couldn't get it lit it didn't go off but um that was the the the knee jerk reaction was well let's just have people take their shoes off and run them through the scanner run them through the electric before we had the porno scanners so uh yeah miss duckworth you just proved once again you're an idiot i don't know why people elect you i don't know why people listen to you so did she or did she not consult with TSA you don't know so you're making a judgment based on your assumption not the facts not the data in assumption probably i would not be surprised to find it's a politically based assumption about a policy which have what about

taking your shoes off in line makes us safer answer that you want to go back to shoes off miss duck worth why would it make us show us give us some empirical evidence you can't because this is about politics it's about forcing people to comply with your delusions and um getting very upset at the trump administration when you would with with just about everything that they do and in another jump i've been complaining about the save act for weeks now as i've pointed out half of the save act or at least what it's talked about is constitutional requiring a photo i congress can create a law that's that requires a photo i d only in elections for us house and senate right they have the constitutional set the time place and manner of elections for house and senate that's it and the the way the real idea i'm sorry the way the the save act is is worded it's for federal elections well the only election for federal

office that the people actually vote on vote in is house and senate so it technically matches but this whole idea of about requiring citizenship for natural to for registration is completely a violation of the constitution right now yes each and every state has a requirement that someone uh be a citizen of citizen united states to vote every at least every constant state constitution i've checked has that that's a state matter nothing in the constitution united states says that you have to be a citizen to vote nothing in the constitution united states says that the that the federal government oversees who is eligible to vote that the constitution does that you cannot be denied the right to vote based on your age your sex your race right but it says nothing about about uh who keeping a track track of who's eligible to vote so this whole you know we have to prove citizenship to register is unconstitutional

but i just learned something new see in addition to this unconstitutional therefore illegal and void requirement that people show an idea to uh i'm sorry proof of citizenship to register the bill claims that the attorney general can sue state officials that register voters without the citizenship check well since the federal government can't legally require a citizenship check that is also an effect should the attorney general uh actually should this pass should the attorney general sue suit somebody that person could actually not only sue the attorney general they could file a criminal complaint against the eternal attorney general for the deprivation of rights under color of law right you're telling me you're going to come after me for following the law well the the save act the stat part of say it's unconstitutional the constitute this constitution and the laws of the united states made in pursuance thereof the save act only sort of is in the

pursuance of the constitution united states therefore it would not be the supreme law of the land therefore enforcing that law is actually a criminal affects a federal crime punishable by finding up to a year in jail that does anybody really believe the department of justice is going to arrest an attorney general for such a crime ain't going to happen do you think there's a federal court in this nation that would actually consider a lawsuit like that i'm doubtful but this is why every member of the state needs to diligently read and study the constitutionalist country teach the right in generation be free because each and every time these government comes after our rights we never seem to learn our lesson we simply you know most of us simply roll over and sit play dead yeah go ahead while i you know i like the idea that citizenship is required to vote i agree every state requires it but just because the state's required doesn't mean the federal government has a legal authority to require it or enforce it the save act is unconstitutional and the fact that

i'm not hearing anybody besides me talking about this is what drives me nuts and it's one of the few scenarios that i don't agree with why the the democrats and the senate and the congress are pushing it i'm disagree with why but i agree that it's unconstitutional and therefore should be in by the way the 1990s meeting national voter registration act also a violent a blatant violation of the constitution of the united states no one's saying it no one's doing because we never learn our lesson the save act is nothing new oh more you know 30 years ago they did the same thing and we just sat there and said yeah okay whatever and you wonder why your rights are disappearing faster than a fart in a stiff breeze it's because none of us defend our rights very few as i should say actually defend most of us most americans don't even recognize when the rights are being violated we never learn our lesson the government who sworn duty is to secure our rights

spends most of his time time to infringe on our rights and no matter how often we take a swing at that football and government simply takes our rights away we keep doing it again and again and again are we ever ever going to learn you know i love this line from Ronald Reagan at freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction we didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream the only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it protect it defend it and then hand it to them with the well-talked lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same but we haven't fought for it we haven't defended our freedom our rights we've let them be in fringe time and time and time again and simply assume either there was nothing we could do or somebody else would do it and that's why we're in this mess that's why we never learn that's why freedom is so close to extinction in this country just look at COVID

the government didn't even have to pass some rules they just had to say they were going to pass rules and americans just seemed to rush to hand over their rights we've never learned the lesson that freedom requires us to defend our rights that when government goes to infringement rights we must push back we must say no i can't think of a more liberating feeling than looking a government actor in the eyes and say no it's wonderful it's uplifting but if we don't learn to do this if we never learn our lesson that that that governments are more often taking our rights and defending them then we're never going to live to be free and our children as Ronald Reagan said well one day asked us what it was like in america when we're free because we're selling our birthright we're selling their birthright we're selling our freedom more often not for a lie for promise they never were able to fulfill they never even figured they would be able to fulfill

we've sold it and until we learn that lesson freedom will continue to evaporate in this country now how do you learn what do we do next you know i get asked at all the time Paul what should i do and my answer is usually well it it does it depends it depends on well where what have you done so far what are you what do you have in the future what are your goals it's why I created the constitution study wizard at constitution study dot com slash wizard it will ask you questions you know when was the last time you read the constitution have you read the federal strengthen federalist papers are you part of a group what are your goals now it does ask for your name and email address because we're going to email you suggestions right the system will look at your answers and email you some suggestions I will look at your answers and maybe add some of my own but the point is the wizard absolutely free the suggestions many of them have free options but it doesn't work

unless you actually take the wizard and then listen what's the worst it happens you take a couple minutes you answer a few questions then you get the responses you you get the suggestions you decide no I don't like those I'm not interested and you ignore them but what about those that say hey I never thought of that maybe maybe that book would be a good idea or maybe this reading over here maybe that would be a good idea if we wish to live free we must learn our lessons and the first lesson I think we need to learn is that the constitution is not going to protect us it's only income parchment it's not going to protect us unless we learn how to use it and to start well I suggest you had the constitution study dot com slash wizard to get some ideas of how you can learn both to read and study the constitution how to teach the right generation generation free how to recognize when you're right you're being violated and how to defend and assert them that's what I created the constitution study for and I hope you'll take the wizard to get some ideas uh you
