Why have we asked our contractor we found on Angie.com to be our kids' legal guardian? Because he took such good care when redoing our basement that we knew we could trust him to care for our kids. Ballade of them. Should something happen to us? Are you my dad now? No, sorry, I do basement. Connecting homeowners with skilled pros for over 30 years, Angie, the one you trust to find the ones you trust. And pros for all your home projects at Angie.com. Presented by T-Mobile, the official wireless partner of Odyssey Sports. With an awesome network and great savings, there's never been a better time to join T-Mobile. Visit your neighborhood store to make the switch today. Bidding on a lighting project, Greybar makes it easy from design to delivery to job site logistics. Smart, scalable, and job site ready. Yep, Greybar does that. Well, outstanding job by the Phil's. They were fancy, free, and foot loose.

Well, actually, no stall on basis, but that's OK. The threat of the steel. Exactly. It's like the play action pass might hand it off, might throw a bomb. Justin Crawford certainly brings some stuff to the table. It was fun to see him play yesterday. And we're looking for the best answer of a title with a body part in it. That's why James is playing the foot loose song right now, but also your thoughts on day one for the Phil's. All right, let me give you, to me, the three negatives that stood out, and I lean much more positive than negative, but three negatives stood out. I'm curious which you thought presents the greatest concern for you out of the game. So the three negatives I thought were back is Bryce and Garcia. Now I put Garcia as the one that I put a red flag next to it, because he looked like the player we had heard was one of the worst offensive players in baseball the last two years. John, those three, back is Harper Garcia, which one concerned you the most? I think Garcia, we knew that he was falling off a bit.

That's why he's here on a one year deal. I personally was such a huge fan of Harrison Vader. And we know that Harrison Vader signed for essentially two years for what we've signed this guy up for for one. And it feels like, and I hate, you know, I hate to say our guy's painling by comparison. It's just one day, but it felt like he was ill prepared when I saw him. It wasn't just for the day, like he looked, he looked challenged, he didn't feel like Harrison Vader. Harrison Vader gave us a lift, a jolt, and I, you know what? It's unfair. Dolos Garcia, I probably had him set up for failure in my own mind because he's not Harrison Vader. But man, it was so far, it was so distant from what Harrison Vader gave us. Tough to. Yeah. I know it'll get better for Garcia. It better get better because we know what we know what we came from. What better can be?

We know what he could have provided. I agree with that. But what could prove to be a mistake? Oh, so look, you can weigh it on everything from day one of the fills. Also, Twitter poll questions of the day to both questions brought to us by Armin Chevrolet and both basketball related. March is truck month at Armin Chevrolet, get financing as low as 1.9% and every Silverado LD gets supplier price in an Armin Chevrolet pro hoops. Question is this, if they get Tyree's maxi back, do you think the sixers are a contender in the east? Yes or no? I think they are. Now, I know some people probably are laughing at me. But if they walk out there in the playoffs with Maxi Edgecomb, anyone who watched the game, anyone who watched the sixers play with four with three of the four, three of the three of the three. Okay. They are legit. I think so too. But they're not going to play with them playing the fours. Yeah. Well, that isn't the way Joel played Paul George playing the way Paul George played. If we add Tyree's maxi to that equation with VJ as part of it, yeah, I think we

could beat any player. So your point is problem. They don't think they're sustained. It's a series. Yeah. Well, it's not only serious. It's a month and a half. How on earth can any of us expect Joel to survive a series a month, a month and a half any of that stuff? Yeah. It's just fantasy. Well. All right. So look, people can weigh in. Basically, they got to get Maxi back to feel like a contender. If they get Maxi, are they contender in the east? Yes or no? Second poll question. Have you been struggling like I have with the NCAA tournament? I just can't get into it. Like St. John's Duke tonight, and that maybe I maybe I prioritize, but I'll just say like real. And of course, my mind was probably or a tie. My mind was mostly maybe I pray or a tie maybe I may be that's a huge game. Look, here's a deal. Take yesterday's example. What was the headliner? Phil is opening that. Yeah, well, of course. What was the sub headliner? Flyers game at night, which by the way, they won, played very well, needed it, got it, win five wants, still five points back, but that, but like from a 30 to 40 year, big picture in my lifetime, I'm 47.

If you had told me last night's also the sweet 16, in yesterday year, you kidding me? I would have been all over that. Last night, no interest. No interest. Especially since the Phillies game was, you know, done by them. I've done, yeah. So I'm interested to know the poll question is, have you been struggling to get into this year's NCAA tournament yesterday? Let's go to the, let's go to the phones, two, one, five, five, nine, two, nine, four, nine, four. Talk to Gary right now and violin. Hi, Gary. In the words of LA, you can't go undefeated unless you win the first game. Nah. Broadway. Well, you actually can if you don't play. Okay, Jack. Well, yeah. So you can. You can. Yeah, good point. Gary, you know who didn't go undefeated? Jack Fritz. Oh my God. He did? No. That's going to be your go to come back forever, isn't it? It's like anytime. Oh, that makes me so happy. Oh my God. Think of a beaming smile, Gary, be me, be me. They can't where you didn't lose in the nine months that you were rehabbing. No.

That's right. It's exactly right. Well, how exciting. So exciting. I totally forgot that there was basketball yesterday. College. Yeah. Oh, I got your 100% right. Like my, my daughter's dancer St. Joe's and I went to a ton of games this year. Couldn't name any of the players. It's, it's, it's just not like it was. I don't know if it's the transfer portal. Yeah, that's a big part. I mean, Gary, how about how these teams that are still playing that let's just say whether you're a fan of them or not? And most of us aren't fans of these teams remaining. But you know, like they're going to be ripped up and look completely different next year because they're all going to hop teams. See, one of the things pro sports gets right. And the owner's new years ago to make this a priority is fans want some consistency. So that was a problem for players. I'm going back 57 years ago. There's no free agency in the players like hold on a second here. So they fight for and rightfully get free agency. But teams have control of them for X number of years at various by sport out of the gate.

And then when you sign a player, typically it's a two, three, four, five year deal. And so, and I know how he does a lot of one year deals, but you know my point, you, there's an expectation. These are our guys, college basketball, college football, it's like the Wild West. So I don't know. I'm just very, I'm very down on it. Very down. And it's totally different to what's recruiting now. They kind of almost want the kids to go to a smaller college and then hit the portal rather than recruit, recruit to like a big school. Now it's, it's totally different. Well, I got Gary. I'm going to say one more thing. Someone tweeted at me like two weeks ago and it was a really interesting point I hadn't considered. John, I guess like what's the point of senior day? Yeah. Like to me, you should only have senior day for the seniors that are four years at that school. Yeah. And schools and beyond or no senior day, I don't even think those exist. Well, I mean, seniors that have been there for four years or five, new rule, only four year seniors or five year seniors that they were registered at that school, only people

that played at that school only. In my opinion, should get on or don't see what you start as a freshman, leave for sophomore junior, come back. Oh, I like that. I like thinking games. Pools like a C.J. G.J. College, exactly. Or it could be like Kentucky senior day is the freshman year. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Anyway, Gary, give me your main photo of the Phillies yesterday. I just think, you know, they played hard. Our big popper got a home run to show that we're, you know, make us glad he's back. Boom, stepping up, you know, Harper obviously taken more pitches as we saw on every day. Yeah. Back. That was sarcasm. Yeah. I was like, wait, was I watching the same game? Yeah. Yeah. All right. Gary, give me an answer, my man. Give me a body part in a title. Everybody's got one. Joel. Yeah, buddy. Wow. That is, that is a wow. That is a big one. Let's get to D in Glassbroke. Good morning, D. Good morning, everybody.

How are you guys doing? Doing well, D. Yeah. Very excited. Good. I have to say that I was a gust that you even mentioned Ike's name in like any way. You passed mommy what straight for daddy? Yeah. And like, besides Ike's physical superiority to you, he has something that Jack does not have at all, like the heart and determination to make it to professional. Oh, Ike would be a great challenge. I'm not saying that I would be a favorite or should be a favorite. Like, like, beat me. And he would pose a great challenge. But yeah. There is no way. How are you stopping, Mike? Well, how am I saying? Listen, D. How are you? He gets me in football. He's already up one nothing. I've, he's earned that. Do you know D? Has he earned being a better golfer? Look, he would beat me in the foot race. There's no doubt. I don't know that he would beat me in baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, or whatever the seventh is where we choose to be.

No, no, no, no, no. I talked about going golfing all the time. Yeah, but he might, but he might be like friends. You know, a guy that shoots 85. He's not like friends. Look, I'm just telling you guys that shoot 85 typically shoot about 90 because they give themselves free pots. D. I don't know if you got, but I'm telling you the amount of people that golf that are like, Oh, that's good. I got that. It's like, wait a minute. You know, you don't put the ball in the hole. I'm telling you, I swear to God every 85 is really like an 88 to 90. It's unfric and believable. Anyway, hello. All right. No, go. Go off. I mean, so you're definitely a better athlete than, than Ike because a lot of people don't hit the golf ball in when it's just a tangent. Listen, listen, listen, like that's, that's your rationale here. It's part of it because people don't actually shoot the ball. You would be disgusted. You think Ike is less of an athlete? D. We'll find out if he's got the guts to challenge me. I don't know. Okay.

That will be fascinating. Yeah. That was derisive, Jell. That's for sure. So the philly's I am hopeful for the philly's but I'm not excited. And if you're superstitious, that's exactly where you want me to be because as soon as I get excited, that's when the bats go cold and errors start happening. Okay. Good. Stay nonplussed then. That's really right where you are. That's where I am. Because I don't want to switch anything. I don't want anyone to blame me, so I'm just going to remain hopeful. All right, see, I need an answer from your body part in the title. The Atlantis more set song, head over feet. Yeah, double head and feet, head over feet, fair enough. 215-592-94-94, I thought to have an wise decision by bomb than I'll publicly talk about his family strife. Yeah, I mean, I brutal spot for God to be him. Yeah, and like, you have to, the question had to be asked. I wasn't going to be the one to ask it, but, you know, someone stepped up and I thought he handled it well, you know, just immediately squash day.

Like, I'm not talking about any of that. I thought it was interesting that that story broke in the middle of opening day. Like, I don't know. Is that the door in the game? It was literally during the game. It was like 440, I believe it was first published. Well, I think what happens there, I'm just assuming this is what happened, because I'm not familiar with the reporter. It was filed in Philadelphia, federal court, I believe on Wednesday. And somebody at the court, there are reporters who just go through court filings. And then you find something, you're like, oh, wait a minute. Alibome, yeah, so you're going to, you're going to print it when you've got it done. For those that don't know, I don't think it was a sports reporter who wrote it. Yeah, so for those that don't know what we're talking about, Alibome is still in his parents for mismanagement of fonts, his, his money, obviously, that he's made it majorly baseball. It's just a brutal spot. It's really sad. It's very sad. And John, we touched on this earlier, but when these guys, and I say these guys, or gals, you know, female stars that make millions, when they come into millions, oftentimes it's in their early to mid-20s, or hundreds of thousands. And that's obviously abnormal for, you know, people on society.

And so you lean on loved ones to manage. I mean, listen, if 22, I wouldn't know a 401k from 22, from a, all right, I was more familiar with a beer than a 401k. Okay, but this is what everyone deals with coming into professional sports, though. It's unfortunate that he has had to contend with this. I think we're all aware that stuff has been a bit off with Alec, in terms of his emotional stability. Yeah, that doesn't mean it's tied into this. It could, no, I absolutely think if this is, if there's, I think it's a point there that wants to win it doesn't handle this. Think about the fact that if there is more truth to this, it's absolutely it could be, but I don't know in 2023 he was slammed his bat down because he was aware of his parents taking a lot of that. Okay, I think there's a problematic relationship there that now is being fleshed out in courts. Sure, that can be a distraction for a young player. We just don't know how long it's going on.

Yeah, right. And it's possible he had no idea it was going on back when, you know, he was struggling in that situation. I hate this place. Sad, terrible. Sad, you know, you never like to see this. But Ryan, Ryan Howard probably went through this. It's another example of chaos in his life and, you know, stirring things up in a way that it doesn't help. That's not a good season. It doesn't help the way this team plays. Not good. All right, let's get to right right now. I'll call him from Morstown as we broadcast from Borgotic. Good morning, Ray. Joe, first of all, I want to call and congratulate you on your big win last weekend. I'll tell you, I was rooting for you the whole time about a month ago. I had called Jack and was talking to him about the Philly. And, you know, I can just simply the air. Why have I asked my age back guy? I found on Angie.com to change my grandpa's trachea tube. Because I was so amazed by how quickly he replaced our air ducts. I knew I could trust him to change poppups too, while I was on vacation. Make a quick young man.

Ah, see? Poppup trusts you. I think we should call a doctor. Connecting homeowners with skilled pros for over 30 years. Angie, the one you trust to find the ones you trust. He's at co.tg.md.us. ERPO liaison program here for you. You know, what are the fillies done to get better in the off season that makes them a better team than they were at the end of last year? And he accused me of a 27 year caller of WIC that I did not know sports. Oh, no. He said that to you. He did. And so I've officially been out on jack and I was pulling hard for you Joe. And I'm so glad that the David and Glyph story came true for you. I appreciate that. Let me tell you this, though, right? All jokes aside, he's a tremendous fellow. He knows a ton of sports. Oh, I know he is. It's all the talk. I got nothing but love for. Except when it's the lines of competition or the gloating for years afterwards. Well, that right there is reason for concern. I mean, if he's trashin' people's acumen. It doesn't handle sports. I mean, yeah, right.

Look, I was trying to put some hair on his chest and I guess the effort will continue. Keep on working. Keep on working. We apologize for that if he didn't say that to you. Hey, it's all in fun. It's all in fun. There you go. All right, Ray. I need a title with a body part. What do you got, pal? Well, listen, three time Academy Award winner. This gentleman won his first Academy Award for Best Actor for My Left Foot Daniel Faser. Good, yeah. That was a great movie and a great performance. Ray, good phone call right there. My left foot, good stuff. That was James Lee in the 1980s. I haven't seen it. Yeah, I want to say like 87ish somewhere in there. Something like that. It was way too mature for me to see back in 1987 and I've never gone back and visited. Great, great movie. All right, Justin Crawford, great. Right out of the gate yesterday. Hit and hit in his first two at Bats. Let's listen to Justin Crawford after the game. The emotional edge of being out there. A big ligger, family in the stands. 45,000 or however many are out there. Citizens Bank Park.

Let's listen to Crawford after the game. What did you make of the energy out there in center field? I grew up in the fans. What did that mean to you? Oh, it was awesome. Everything I honestly pictured at my new place again, Rockin' and it was cool being able to hear it for the first time. And I'm excited for me anymore. Just saying you got some butterflies. When were you getting in? Was it? Yeah, before you're at the end. Was it before we were getting your name called? Probably right before I got my name called. Got on the line. I settled down a little bit. And then once I ran out into the center, I felt, it's gone time. All right, Crawford, good stuff. So his ballpark experience was cool. Yes, James. James, we talked about your ballpark experience. The hammer. So I didn't want to, you know, uniform and diamond, anyone out or anything like that. I did see someone at the game yesterday. And that's someone is the great Amy from Philadelphia by way of Wayne from Penn, the whole thing. Did you see me standing right next to her? No, that was what I didn't want to dime you out for.

I was like, where is Joe? You guys were in a fight? You guys were in a fight? Me and the fillies in a fight? No, you name Amy. You name Amy in a fight? Not spending the game together. So how do I put this? Oh, boy. I prior, I was lazy. It's a load management day. Yeah, I was told you were quote, unquote, tired. That was so listen. You didn't go. I didn't go. You didn't go. I mean, I would have loved it been there. Yes, but I had to get the extra net. James, I'm disappointed you and I that we didn't pick up of this. Oh, no, I wasn't going to send him out. So I knew about this. I just, I figured he was going to bring it up at some point. I was waiting at the end of the show if it didn't have and I wouldn't dime him out. But I figured I'd give him a chance. Oh, no. Oh, James, let me be honest. Okay, now that we're there and I let us there. Let me give you the reasons why I did not go open. Please. There are like four or five reasons reasons reasons. All right, here we go. Here we go. Number one, and I don't say this much often on the air because I don't want people to think that I'm like,

crime your river like frets. But by the end of the week with the morning show, you do there's kind of a wear down factor by the end of the week. So I'm always sleep deprived by the end of the week. So I took a massive afternoon that massive needed it. Okay, number two, the uniform. The uniform on a 70 degree day, not exactly my preference for... So don't wear it. You mean the uniform that every player is wearing? Yeah, but I'm not a player. I don't care. They're wearing. I'm just saying wear this. There were a lot of people telling me don't wear the uniform. So I'm going to say I took one for the team by not wearing it. Okay, then you have... Was I, Devin, would they have actually let me get the American flag and the trophy into the ballpark? Why would they not? I don't think they would have. So I felt awkward. I don't know. Let me put it this way. I didn't want to go and be turned away. You could have come in. You could have gone in with the American flag, for sure. The trophy, I don't know. Say it again, John.

When have you ever been turned away? I've never walked through the media entrance with the uniform. And they're not going to turn you away. Unless I have clothes above it. And then give my clothes to John Brazier. But you change in a stall. Brazier takes my clothes to his office. Brazier doesn't work for the... It's Brazier's fault. So, it's Brazier's fault. It's totally Brazier's fault. It's too high maintenance. You need to recognize it. Tom, we're going still works there. You could talk to Tom. He's busy. He's got the fanatic thing going. No, he does have that fanatic thing going on. I mean, what was Brazier doing during the game other than... Not much. Handling my clothes. What fanatic? He's friends? He knows the fanatic. So there was that issue. And then there was, you know, he got to get down to Borgata. And you know what I do love when I get to Borgata? There's about five or six times a year where it's like, get here to saddle up room service and watch. The NFL Draft on a Thursday. Phillies, when they start the season on the road on a Thursday, you know, certain playoff games. Not that we've had many of them. Thurson and football Eagles games like I do. He's sat in your room on a gorgeous, gorgeous, amazingly beautiful day. I guess what I got, Rhea.

Energy. Get your handle down. I'm going to sit outside. Energy. I got energy. Why could you go sit outside with your laptop or the radio? James, is that week? Is that week sauce? It's incredibly weak sauce. Yes. You can't spend. Oh, like we did like a, you know, side top and not quite, but like a beat topping. What should he wear? What should he, like we did polls? People were saying the polls. People said the polls about this. And you know, that's not true. That's not true. What were the results to the poll? 54% of the rest of that. They did. So we didn't know. If you can't like do this whole thing and then be like, nah. Yeah, that's very true. Let's go to the first. I honestly, my biggest shock of the day yesterday was what Amy said. You didn't job. I thought I'd be there. And then we're still sleeping. No, but I woke up just in time, just in time to high-tail it down here to make it for the first pitch on TV. That's all I did it. That is not. And Devon, actually, no, I wore the flag with the trophy on my Jeric Show on Fox 29 the other day.

You did. And that was a badass look. Oh, yeah, real badass. I'm not sure what I was just saying. But I think about it if you're friends. Yeah. And you see me on a late night show. Like, that's got to irritate him with the trophy sitting right next to him. You, you look like you just won a heavyweight boxing match. I will say that Joe. Joe, I have to say, I'm sure. I've never looked at you and went, well, there's a badass. However, however, I do have a note that I need to tell you about Fritz. What's that? Okay, so it's Unconfirmed but sources have told me that Jack Fritz is suing his parents. Uh-oh. Mommy and daddy. Uh-oh. A.K.A. Spike and I for mismanagement of the basketball. That's how you go. That's, I like that riff. Well, chocolate. Well, I said it's the idea is it. I do use it. That's great. All right, let's get to Dave and Ben Salem. Game one reactions. A lot good from the Phil's yesterday. Sanchez, as a matter of fact, James, let's hear the fourth of the five highlights. Christopher Sanchez was freaking dealing. Obviously only one six because it's early in the season.

Um, but a lot of strikeouts and a lot of excellence. Christopher Sanchez yesterday wrapping up the set. The left he kicks the pitch. Swinging him as he struck him out. And the Sanchez emotion clapping his glove. He's got 10 punchouts on opening day over the Rangers. He waves to his family in the crowd and the crowd waves back. And Sanchez with a dandy today in game number one. Beautiful. Excellent stuff. Hey, we're going to get to this Cam Jerrigan's audio from yesterday. Pretty interesting about what he went through at the end of the 24 season and during the 25 season with the back. And how he's feeling now, very interested in audio. We'll play that coming up after this next call. Let's get to Dave and Ben Salem right now. Dave, good morning. Good morning, Joe. Good morning, guys. Great show this morning. How are you guys doing down there to work out it? Doing well, Dave. How about you? Yeah, well, what a beautiful day yesterday, Joe. Opening day, it says the bank card was beautiful weather. Nothing like it. Nothing like the sights and sounds of the ballpark on TV.

It was just incredible. It was just the atmosphere was incredible. The fans were so pumped up for the game. Dave, you were there in person, right? Yes, I was. I've been blessed and lucky enough to start working for the Foley's Organization in 2022. It's been wonderful. There you go. The wonderful experience I've ever had in my life. Good for you. Dave is the bat. Dave also works flyers. We've got this play keeps aimed by games, Joe. We know it's 162 games. There's going to be down. Are you going to be there for all of them? Dave, they've never not made the playoffs. I've thought of you all for almost every one of them. That's awesome. Good man. So it's like, yeah, I mean, Joe, my opinion on this is like Dustin Crawford and Andrew Payne are half the contributors of this team this year. This Justin Crawford has great speed. He gets on base. He's going to still bases when the top of the line of comes up and be able to move the runners. Yeah. Listen, I'm very excited. I was most excited. What if sports were traded like markets? To see him entering the game? And then obviously see his performance was great. That was really good stuff. It was, it was just a great day. And I just like I said, we just got to take the ride and enjoy the summer. And just not, and unlike everybody else, I live and die on every game. But it's a long season, a lot can happen. All right, Dave, give me an answer buddy for a body part in the title. You can win the Brian Adams tickets. Sounds good. I'll go with a ZZ top song in the 80s leg. Good answer. Oh, yeah. Great answer. Fun song. Dave, excellent call right there. James, the back is thing. Not really an issue or a cause for concern what we saw. Because I might just say that's for you answer. Watching Ramona last year for the first time. I was like, after game one, I thought, holy hell, we got a real problem here. I didn't feel that with back.

But obviously it wasn't a good performance. What were you thinking, James? Yeah, I'm not freaking out over it. Look, let's remember Kyle back. This is the 24th, 25th, 26th kind of guy on the roster. You know, he is, he is a specialist. He's on the roster to face left handed batters. That's the only reason he's here. So don't let him face the way he is. So I do again, I blame topper for the situation he was put in. I think on top of that, he just didn't have his best stuff yesterday. I am not super concerned with anything from yesterday with Kyle back. John, do you remember the Ramona thing? And by the way, it helped him out. Because for the four months, he pissed his eyes, his eyes. I've never seen such pitiful eyes. I mean, teary looking on the verge of breaking down. He just, he couldn't contend with everything that he was facing. And then on the back, it's real quick. What I'm trying to say to though is like, he might not be good. You know, he is, he is, he might be fine. He might be okay as a lefty specialist. But like, this is not someone who I am sure we can count, you know what I mean? Like, he might, he might, he might be good. I just don't know enough.

Yeah, it's not one of your main guys. Yeah. Gotcha. Do you think that it's possible that topper got excited about using, uh, using him yesterday just because it's been, it because it is so exotic because it is so. No. I think he looked at the line up and said it's Corey Seager and it drops off. Like, they have righties after that, but they're top three hitters. They're best three hitters. Like, I think it was like, it drops off after this. I'm going to get the five nothing. Seager is only like, he's here. We're going to put blinders on and say, get Seager out. And that's what matters. They were all five nothing. So you don't expect to lose the game. And by the way, listen, was it maybe a mistake to put him in, read your point with the ready lefty thing? Okay, I'm with that. But let's also remember you did have a five run cushion. Like, that's why he's in the game, but if it's numbers, if the numbers weren't so stark, you know, like James said, he's a lefty specialist. Yeah. There's a reason you get patched with those terms. Two one five five nine two ninety four ninety four. Let's get to this Cam Jürgen's audio.

This is very interesting. He was on the bus and with the boys podcast talking about everyone on that pod. It's a, it's a thing. Players like to go on it. Yeah, I guess they feel there's a comfort. All right. So he's talking about the, the back injury from the 24 playoffs. You might remember he dressed for the Washington NFC championship game. But with the intention of not playing unless land, uh, landed Dickerson and slid over to center. If there was an issue with Dickerson, then they maybe Jürgen's would go in. Well, that's exactly what happened. So Jürgen's had to play the second half of that game and they didn't really want him to. But, you know, Dickerson had gotten hurt. So he plays in that game. He's already compromised plays in the Super Bowl two weeks later. Plays this past season and was way not the same. Let's listen to Jürgen's detailing what happened and his outlook moving forward. It's tough, uh, that Super Bowl we won. I mean, I herniated, I had a herniated disc and then right for the playoffs. My disc like broke off and he got wrapped around my saddickner. So it was just like, oh my god, it was hard to walk. I don't know how I was playing like it was, it was easily the worst month of my life.

But then also like kind of the best month of my life because we won the Super Bowl. But it was just miserable, dude. Just the pain and then getting surgery and like trying to get back for the next year. And you know, it's always tough having a surgery in the off season. But when you have back surgery, it is tough. Like it takes a good year to come back from that. And like I'm starting to feel really good. But dude, just all year just trying to get through that just a tough year at the back. But it's feeling so much better. Makes a lot of sense. He said he's starting to feel really good now. So yeah, I expect just such an optimal difference this season in the way that he plays. What we saw last year was a struggle. I thought he was below average. He's saying he doesn't know how he did it. It was a struggle to walk. He doesn't know how he was able to figure out a way to play. And I'll say this, everyone listening who has had it back injury, which I'm fortunate to never have had. But think about for those of you that have had it. Now think about the pain you've been in.

Now think about blocking somebody. Yeah, 320 pound guy right in front of you. And the 10 or 20 or 25 times a game where his whole goal is to hurt you. There's 800 pounds on you like there's I can't imagine that there's this cycle. There's this linebacker. There's this edge. By the way, like Jordan, a lot of falls on you. And this guy falls on you. You know what a hopeless feeling and that's brutal with a bad back when there's no escape from the pain. Like all you want is to feel nothing or something like something positive and you can't escape. I can't imagine that back pain because it's so all encompassing. Yeah, it's it's you everything that you do. You've crazy crazy. All right, reaction on day one with the fills 215 59294 Sanchez. Obviously, the main star Crawford, Boom and Schwab. Other big parts of the game as well. John right now. Good morning, John. Good morning. How are you guys? Great. Doing well. You're not allowed to pump up.

You're not allowed to eat the afternoon show. How you doing? Is that crazy? They say they don't want to say how they're doing. No, they say it's a waste of time. I've heard that theory of radio. I used to I will tell you this big B used to make us like tell callers when I was a producer. I'm like, it's just dumb. Yeah, well, people want to ask how you're doing people are people. The other thing though, John, I would say I got a sneaky suspicion. It relates to Fritz. Doesn't want to answer the question. Right. It's all about Fritz, you know what I'm saying right there. That's right. Yeah, I don't really want to know how you're doing. I'm just saying good morning. Yeah, it's a good morning. Yeah, it's a salutation. So you guys make my morning by the way. Thank you. And Ria, I think you are the hand that rocks the cradle. I don't know about that. Boy, I like that. I like that. She was a murderer though. No, I don't mean it that way. I mean, when these guys go off the rails, you're the calming force. I don't really know. That might be the first time we've ever been to stride.

Come on. John, someone say I was the calming force in the all season when people wanted to blow up the team. And I was like, hold on a second here. Get a really good. Don't try and steal Ria's compliment, right? Also, don't take the victory lap on this take. It's been one game. It's been 96, 96 wins. Lock it in. It's going to happen. Same team. It's got to play better in October. I was rooting for you, Joe, till I heard you didn't. You missed opening day. That's the little ridiculous. It's a little ridiculous. But how do you get those naps in? But I was rooting for you. Oh my god. I was surprised when we go down. The last time, how many times? Yeah, spring training. It's a good point, John. When we're going to spring training, we go down to watch the game, I thought, that that was the part that was most important. And you talked about it all that way. You made it happen. Yeah, but John, I got to beat my man, John. I got to beat my best from 6am to 10am. I'm here for you. Well, thank you for that. What a sacrifice you make by not going to the games.

I'll tell you what, plaques will go up in your honor at WIP. John, what's the rest of the most of the victory yesterday? Talk to us. The Crawford hit it stood out to me like St. Jazz, no hitter. I had to put my life on pause for that, because you can say that you saw it while you can't say that you saw it. Well, good line, good line. Yeah, that is something special. It was great. It was. It was very decisive. Yeah. I felt like nervous for him almost, especially talking to him before the game. And he, of course, he's not going to say he's nervous. You know, he's saying he's prepared and all the advice. And he's just going to try to go out there and enjoy it. But to see him do that on the first pitch and his first step that was, it was really cool. Pitcher almost snagged it, by the way. Yeah. Pitcher put that glove up there and look kind of close from what I could tell. All right, John. The answer from you, my man. Body part in the title for Brian Adams, take it. Okay. Well, I had the winner, but somebody stole it, Joel's in Kyrgyz, Junegy, Uranus.

I'll get you, John. Look at you. The title of a planet. Yeah, I guess. That a song. Hey, speaking of the flyers with Jones, do you think they got a victory yesterday? Yeah. So, flyers needed that. So, here's where they stand. Five points back, 11 games to go. For my money without crunching the numbers, I would think they've got to win at least eight. Maybe nine. They got to win a lot. All right. 215-592-9494. Coming up, something to sports. It's an interesting debate going on these days. We'll get to that. Plus, drop of the week. And more highlights in the Phillies victory yesterday. Phone calls as well. We moved to our 10 o'clock, Joe and Hugh at that time. As we broadcast from Borgata on 94WiP.
