00All right. So we got these chef IQ meat thermometers. You're like 129.99, but you can get a discount by buying them off their website, chef IQ.com. But we have some. We're going to give away. So stay tuned. We'll figure that out. We haven't even checked to find out what we're allowed to do. But we've got some. We want to hook some people up. Stay tuned for that. It is the first day of March, madness. We'll get into the madness ourselves here at four o'clock. We're not going to be looking at the tournament per se. We're going to do it in our way. Christina's cookie jar is coming up in 10 minutes, but right now it's time for this. Okay. This one's walled and kind of all over the internet. So Afro man, the rapper who did the hit song because I got high is in the news. He's in the news because back in 2022, his house was rated by the sheriff's department in his town or the police department in his town. They destroyed all of stuff. They had a warrant for kidnapping in Narcotics. They found that he had not kidnapped anyone. Narcotics. I don't know if they found enough to punish him. I'm sure he'll be pretty open about. I got some weed. Yeah.
03They destroyed his house. And one thing that he got is his security camera got the police officers cutting the camera off the security footage off. He's got that on tape. So he owns this. He stayed quiet about it, kept it to himself. His wife was also there. He was gone. He was out on tour. I think his wife was there and she was recording. So he's got footage from her cell phone video as well of this all going on. So he kept all that to himself. And then he started with this music video that he put out about a year ago, Will you help me repair my game? Will you help me repair my door? Did you find what you was looking for? Will you help me repair my gate and door? What?
04The warrant said Narcotics and kidnapping. The warrant said Narcotics and kidnapping. Are you kidding? I make my money rapping. Why does the warrant say Narcotics? Well, I know Narcotics. But why kidnap you? So good. It's very ray on bass. That did not take off. He does not do a lot of rapping by the way. He does a lot of bad singing. So that did not take off though. This did not catch the algorithm. This is not a big deal. This is kind of hidden. We'll know about it now. So when this raid was happening a few years ago, there is a clip from the security camera, which where there's a police officer in the kitchen and he's eyeing a lemon pound cake that's on the counter. In fact, to the point where the officer kind of makes the motion like he's about to go take a bite, but it decided not to. This is the one that got online and this is the one that started something. Okay. This is called
07Lemon Pound Cake. Okay. So you get the point. This does catch the algorithm. This gets big on YouTube. It's flying around social media. The sheriff's county police department is
13like, no, that's defamation. And they sued him for likeness. And he's like, okay, cool. Let's go to court, which would open up all kinds of things like security cam footage. Because of discovery. Yeah. Security cam footage that I have. So we go to discovery. Yep. All this stuff comes out. He made a song to about one of the leaders of this raid. Her name is Lisa Phillips. She's a police department in the police department. Lisa Phillips, I would say you would not just assume that she is sexually attracted to men. She might be, but you wouldn't assume that based on her appearance. You wouldn't assume that. Here are a song called Lickum Low Lisa. Lickum Low Lisa, Lickum Low Lisa, Lickum Low Lisa, Lickum Low Lisa.
25Okay, so he hires actors, makes a shocking like music video about it. It's played in court. This lady's crying on the stand. Not my performative or she might have really been, but they chose to sue him. I'm going to carry it over, Kristina. Sorry. It's gotta go over. This is too good. We got to do this. Yeah. When we come back, how we got a guy to admit that he might, like his wife might have been cheating on him. He made another song about another guy. It's so crazy. It's next on 90s. Oh, let's keep it going. All right. Before we get there, I want to say thank you to Chef IQ. Again, you can get 20% off their entire site right now using our promo code eagle. But when I, when I got it, I thought, okay, this is probably worth like 400 bucks. Like it
29was the best meat thermometer I've ever seen. You put a probe in the steak. It attaches to the, you know, this apps and you updates on your phone saying it's time to flip the steaks. 7:32Round two later in the show coming up here in 15 minutes. Also, don't forget we have those clay pool tickets. He leads singer of primates coming to town. We're going to be giving away tickets. You're going to need your eye heart app for that. We're in the middle of this crazy afro man story. This lawsuit, the music videos KT has more quick reset. He was rated three or four years ago. He has the security camera footage of it. They didn't find anything to arrest him or anything. He's got footage of them cutting his security security camera. And then he started making a few songs. One of these songs went viral. There's about a cop sing some pound cake on the counter. That sheriff's department, our police department decided to sue him for defamation. And he started making some songs about some of the police officers that were involved in the raid. Including we told you Lisa Phillips who was one of them. She was the one actually leading like when they crashed the great to the gate and to the door. It was her first. Okay. So just in case you haven't heard it, lick them low Lisa.
35Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Okay. It's a he made a 13 minute long music video to it that is so shocking. I mean, there's nothing photographic in it, but he is towing the line. They played it in court. And this lady is on the stand having to watch it and answer questions. But something she would have never had to do if they did not press charges on him for defamation or sue him for defamation. Right. This is a lot like our friends at over at the dumb zone and when cumulus decided to sue them. Yeah. Like it in the end probably helped them. They probably would have been fine either way. But it taken Dan. It did bring a ditch into them. They were not going to be in the Washington Post if it wasn't for that lawsuit. That was great for them. And it also exposed how horrible a company. Yeah. The parent company was. And people like us aren't talking about this song.
38Well, there's another police officer here. His name is Randy Walters. Now he made a song called Randy Walters is the son of a bitch. Before I play that for you though, I think we should go to the testimony or to the trial. Because Randy Walters is on the stand, right? And he's getting questioned by Afro man's lawyer. You're claiming that is the defamation statement that he said he had sex with your wife. Yes. And that's an injury on the false life. It's caused tremendous pain in my wife. We have to go through false life first. So does it injure a false life? Yes, that my wife is shooting on me with Mr. Foreman. But we all know that's not true, correct? I don't know. Oh. You want to go there? Been with that woman since middle school. I would hope she wasn't. But you know what? Once somebody puts it out there for their fun and entertainment, it's out there. And it's a problem.
40Now that to me without like knowing the full details of this, that to me is a little different than hey, we're assuming for defamation from this lemon pound cake video. That went big because in the Randy Walters is the son of a bitch song. You will hear this. Randy Walters is the son of a bitch. Oh, yeah, that's why I think I'll feel rich. Is your course? Yes.
41Hey, Randy. Randy Walters cut in the tape of a security camera footage. He's got the footage of it, so it's kind of incredible. But you go to the trial and he's like, did he have sex with your wife? And Randy Walters is like, I don't know. It's crazy. If he just wouldn't have used their actual names, there would be no lawsuit, right? He'd be totally fine. Well, I know. I think they were going to sue me their way because the lemon pound cake video. That's the one that started it. The lemon pound cake video. But also, it's like, I mean, he's reasonably, I'm sure as entertainment lawyers and stuff, he might have consulted with all of them in there. It was like, is all this real? Yeah. Okay. Well, this will go to discovery.
41Do your thing. Yeah. Like, he won easy, by the way. Okay. This is why like, you brought up the whole Jake and Dan thing. You know, I know a guy who's done some huge cases. And he was like, and we were talking about the whole thing of it. He was like, look, I could maybe win this case for the company, but I would advise them. There you have, there's no reason to go to court with this, because you're just going to look horrible. Whatever you think you're going to gain out of it, you're going to lose when all this stuff becomes visible. Like, why would you do this? There's, and Ben and I've talked about this before, there's some real high-profile lawsuits that have around town. We're like, why would you let that go to court? It's discovery. And just put all your business out there. Like, you're going to get hammered. It's not worth the money thing. Yes. Like, why just don't you get out of that? Get out of it. And it's what it is, is it's people's egos are so big, they think they're bigger than that. And then they don't realize as they're getting drugged through the mud,
42I'm still going to win this. No, you're not. Right. You're not. Yep. There you have it. What a strange story. All right, KT, we're going to take us in the madness next. It's time for round two of the madness. I've had a little wrinkle to this. The living celebrities of each school in the tournament. But we amplify it next on 971 Eagle. All right.
