Jay Towers in the Morning — That's Incredible. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
00Top of that, it's incredible. Some incredible stories from around the world and beyond. We'll start with this. Tokyo style pizza is taking off. It looks like, I guess, Neapolitan pizza. What? I don't even know what that is. It's thick. It kind of looks like Detroit pizza. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But it has the thick and airy outer crust while maintaining a thin bottom crust. It also carries a faint taste of wood smoke. That's incredible. I feel that. Okay. I'm not really big into the smoky flavors, but I'm looking at a piece right now. I mean, it looks fine. That's good. A supermarket in Scotland gave away about 38,000 bananas after the store accidentally ordered way too many boxes of bananas. They only meant to order 3,000 bananas, not 38,000 bananas. So bananas for everyone. Oh, how fun. Have you guys ever done like a Kroger pickup before, where you ask for what you think is like three bananas, but you actually asked for three bundles and then you have like 20 bananas? No. What's it was? Banana's fosters for everyone. Right.
00A 31 year old woman was arrested for stabbing a man in the back of the head with a toothbrush in Seattle. My God. Both were drunk at the time, as you can imagine. That's incredible. But also how do you stab someone with a toothbrush? It's like it's a resin, that's a good. I don't know if it's making full impact, but it's basically salt in my toothbrush. Yesterday, the astronauts and NASA's Artemis II mission entered the moon's gravitational sphere of influence. The path took them over the shadowed, dark side of the moon, or as we called the far side of the moon, and they became the farthest flying humans in history. They now are on their way home. I wonder if they listened to dark side of the moon. That'd be interesting. That's what you should do. The pink fluid. Take a gummy, pop it in. What do you want the gummies? I don't know if you can take a gummy while you're in space as an astronaut. Who will know if you're high in space? Who will know? Yes. NASA can't even get into. They want to zoom to work. Yeah. NASA, they can't see you. A 16 year old surfer was bitten by a shark in South Australian, at a South Australian beach. He says he flicked it off and laid it back to shore.
01No, you didn't. You got real lucky that shark didn't care that much, and that's how that story went. This is a bit of irony. A new security gate is frustrating tourists blocking the scenic views of the Statue of Liberty off of the Manhattan Southern tip. That's incredible. Yeah, don't block the views. Don't block the views with a blockade. The whole purpose of it is to be seen. It's not allowed. No. According to a survey, 81% of people say they're sweet treat people. So the generation with the biggest sweet tooth is Generation Z. 72% of them, you ever sheet. Chelsea say they need one to six servings of sweets every single day. Are they the youngest of us? I always forget. The millennials, the baby boomers, the Gen Z years. So there's millennials, Gen Z, and then I think the generation now is like Gen Alpha. Oh, Gen Alpha. It's adorable. Yes, Gen Alpha. Gen Alpha. Finally, there's a list of the stickiest cities in America, which are the ones that are hardest for locals to quit. Charlotte, North Carolina, is most sticky, followed by Greenville, South Carolina.
04San Diego's the least sticky. Well, Clark, swipe yourself down, Charlotte. What do you mean the hardest for locals to quit, like stop living there? Yeah, they love it. Yeah. I always hear that conversation like they, like in radio, like our consultant Dennis Clark is always like, you need more sticky content. I might just say, just say compelling or something that makes people want to listen, stop using the word sticky. Oh, at least you didn't say moist. Oh, that word. That's absurd. You can really only use that to describe a cake.
