Thank God

1:04Well, that's worth wondering, although impossible to know the answer, did God point His finger and declare where He wanted the sun located? Did He point His finger and say where He wanted the Rocky Mountains located? Did He point where He wanted the Milky Way and each planet and star? Or perhaps did He create a big bang as man theorizes and let the residue just settle by happenstance? Well, it's harder to believe that this awesome creation was just an accident than it is to accept that God was the greatest architect imaginable and purposefully created the heavens

2:04and the earth. Now thank God for the milk cowl, the chicken house, the horse, the hogs, the sheep, the kernel of corn and wheat. Thank God for potatoes, tomatoes, beans and watermelon. Thank God for climate change and that big bang if there was one. Now thank God for mothers and brothers, little boys and girls and ice cream. Thank God for God and Jesus, thank God for grandpa's and grandma's.

3:08You know, you learn by asking questions, but you teach mostly by making statements. You learn by asking, you teach by making statements. Now God said, let there be light and there was light. Just the power of His statement created the sun, the source of all light and heat. Now the sun does it rise or set. Actually, the earth rotates on its axis so that different parts of earth faces the sun at different times. The part of that that faces the sun has light and heat and the part that faces away from

4:14the sun is dark and is cold. It gives us the illusion of the sun rising and setting when it's the earth rotating to and from the sun. That's difficult if not impossible for mere humans to comprehend creating the sun. Have you ever thought about that? To a simple man like mine, it appears the only purpose of having the sun is for light and heat. However, life on earth could not exist without growing vegetation which is made possible by the heat and the light from the sun.

5:15Without these, livestock could not feed themselves and men could not grow crops for food in other products. Thank God that God said, let there be light. Now why do we have an Old Testament and a New Testament? That's a question. Some claim that the Old Testament was inspired by God. Well, what about the New Testament? Who or what inspired it? If God inspired the Old Testament, why do we need a New Testament?

6:15These are just questions. The man just decided that he could do a better job than God? Was the New Testament inspired by man? And if so, for what reason? Simplicity perhaps? To correct things that we didn't like or did man decide that the Old Testament was outdated? And it needed modernizing like some are claiming about our Constitution. It's old news, old-fashioned and it needed updating. Which is it? Was it really inspired writings or just a few old Jews sitting in caves?

7:21Inspired by hashish. Just asking questions. Why is there portions of the Bible that is difficult to comprehend or understand? And why do they say those portions are not to be taken literally? Now are we supposed to know which is which? Just asking ladies and gentlemen, while admitting that some things are unknowable. Now ladies and gentlemen, if you are conservative, you're going to want to listen each and every week to the old glory network podcast. But if you are not conservative, then you need to listen.
