Terrorist's Early Release Sparks Backlash

He got 16 years in prison back in 2013 after admitting to prepping for terrorism, including trips to Pakistan for training. The plot involved his gang following instructions from that infamous al-Qaeda manual, and they kept at it even after cops raided their homes. McBow was released once before on November 2nd, 2021, but got yanked back in 2023 over fresh worries. Earlier this year, the parole board Greenlit, his early release despite two prison experts saying no way, that sparked huge backlash with politicians calling it a disaster and labeling him a serious threat. Still, Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philps slammed it as disgraceful, and David Lamy pushed hard for a rethink, calling the decision legally off base. Now, they've granted a full reconsideration with a new panel.
