Terrain Transformation: Paula Carnell

Terrain Theory

About this episode

One part transformation story, one part paean to the mighty honey bee. Paula Carnell was a well-known artist based in England when, in 2008, she fell ill from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder which confined her to bed and wheelchair. With little hope offered from conventional medicine, she turned to herbs, clean water, and plant-based minerals and achieved a full recovery seven years later. In that same time she answered a calling to begin working with bees, and she is now an internationally-known bee expert and passionate advocate for this essential, magickal species.
