Tennessee Volunteers Face Vanderbilt Without Ament

Nate Ament will miss the game with a leg injury, marking his second straight absence. Ament first got hurt during Tennessee's close loss to number 16 Alabama on February 28th. He played just 11 minutes that night before leaving. He's been a big part of the vals' success, putting up 17.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and one steel per. Game over 29 outings. In his place, expect Amari Evans to step up, along with more minutes for DeWayne Brown, Jalen Carey, and Amary Abram. Coatritt Barnes shared good news, saying Ament should return for the SEC tournament starting March 11th.
