0:00Sydney stories making news on March 4th. A 32-year-old Sydney High School teacher named Taylor Braille has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two male students, ages 16 and 17. Earlier this week in Campbelltown Local Court, she admitted to having sex with the 17-year-old boy and sexually touching the 16-year-old. That plea deal led prosecutors to drop all but seven charges against her. Braille was first arrested in August 2024 for the offenses involving the older boy, and released on conditional bail. Less than two weeks later, police picked her up again at her woolen-gong home over the younger boy's case. The court heard details of the assault happening close together last July, with the 16-year-old attacked one day and the 17-year-old. Touched the next, she also faced accusations of sending child abuse material to herself around then. Now a former teacher, Braille remains on strict bail conditions. She heads back to court for sentencing on March 26th. D&N is sponsored by our partner. Check out the episode description. Your pillow just got smarter. It plays your podcast and music.
