Teacher Arrested for Alleged Student Relationship

Ashley Fisler worked at Orchard Valley Middle School and faces multiple serious counts after the now-adult victim came forward. Investigators confirmed the claims through text messages and nude photos exchanged between them. The encounters reportedly happened in her car in classroom while the victim was still a minor. The school district confirmed she's no longer employed, having left last April and stress they take student safety very seriously. Officials say they're fully cooperating with law enforcement on the active case. Fisler faces six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a minor plus charges for endangering a child in official misconduct. Conviction can mean up to 20 years behind bars. She denied everything in a statement to police this past March and the investigation continues as prosecutors build their case.
