He's developing an original play set for London's West End, in the style of a classic British farce, full of slamming doors, dropped trousers, and us mix-ups. This marks a fresh turn for the director, known for his films. He's already scouting theaters there, and lining up a cast that could draw major Hollywood names. Bradley Cooper, with his stage experience, is one possibility for the lead. Tarantino first hinted at this during a talk, at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, saying it might be his immediate next step. Fans have mixed feelings since Tarantino has long planned just 10 movies total. He recently backed away from his original idea for that final film, a project called The Movie Critic. He felt it echoed his last word too closely, set in an older Los Angeles. Instead, he scripted the adventures of Cliff Booth as his tenth feature.
