What's up everybody. Take Frazier here in studio and we are breaking down all the games. The Michigan western Michigan game is coming down to the wire right now. I'm sure you're locked in on that. We also got LSU. We got the battle of death Valley happening tigers on tigers. But first and foremost, let's say what's up to our guys Van Lathen. How's it going, Van? What's up guys. You got a raise. It is our first live man. We going crazy Billy back there. Yeah, we have all day long eating Chick-fil-A in boxing at sick warm and it's amazing stuff. We were asking Joe to be ready to talk into his microphone. He immediately takes a sip of water. Oh, how you doing. I'm good man. I'm glad to be here. We have fun today. We advanced dog came in here. What's his name? Boseman. Boseman the Bernadoodle. Also his lovely girlfriend. She was here. She brought Boseman over and Boseman explored the goddamn studio. We're having a great time. He's a beautiful dog man. He's well groomed. Got a big ass head. He's beautiful. Yeah, we had a conversation about that. Joe thought it was nice to say someone has a big head. No, I said some girls. Some girls like it. If you say that they got a big forehead. Because I mean, it's just kind of a thing. You know, Sam, but yeah, I said this was cultural. And then that's when we found out that T had a black girlfriend. His first. Yeah, what was it?
Black woman. Hey, we're absolutely how's it going over there? Same goes on. We talked about tastes first love. She was black. She was like loving versus Virginia back in the day. And we looked her up, but we're not going to say. We're not going to say. It's great to be back. It's fun to be here live. We got college football happening in real time. We're going to get to the show. We got a lot to get to. There were some comments that have come out that have called us off for going so early, but you know, it's okay. We see what's the name? Get the fuck out of here. What do you need to be here? We go live at midnight. What's the guys name? Go back and tell us the name again. Hey, I want to say that. Fuck. No, I'm just joking. But we, but we, this is a time that we were going live now. We were even earlier last year. Right last year we had to go before big show. Now this year we can go live whenever we want to. We have the Twinkle Bowl that is about to kick off right now. So Cal UCLA will get some updates on that. Like I said, Michigan coming down to the wire. We got an upset to a power for program. The monster big 12 took a big loss today to Tulsa. What?
The monster big 12 monster. I mean, they energy lead. They just they think this is they think that this is funny. It's more annoying to anything. It's not like it's not you had guess I like it was like getting at my soul or something. And I don't care. It does seem like you're perturbed every time we bring up the monster because here's the thing. You know, it's like just saying the monster big 12 energy lead in and of itself is not a diss. That's the name of the lead. Yeah, but you take it as a diss. Right. And now it's just, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know what I know what y'all are doing. But you said that you like monster. You drink monster. I'm not anymore. But you did. So you were a fan of it. So the monster big. So, so okay. Would you like me to, would you like me to stop calling it? I like the way that you knew it. Yeah. Yeah. Like break it up every single time. That's like sand. That's like what I'm saying. Tough. This is like I. Well, let's start here. This game like we said has happened right now. Climson trying to show signs of life. They don't have much life. It seems in this game. But we're going to start with our first fact, Auburn today.
Baylor Auburn. That was a big game that happened. The afflack kickoff. Cam Newton came on the show. He was there doing the coin toss. Auburn is one 10 straight. This is our first fact. 10 straight season openers. And obviously in this game, Eric Winners with the big stop on the two point conversion. What are you pointing out? Why has somebody turned it to Western Michigan and Michigan? We're watching. You're supposed you're supposed to be updating what's happening. Yeah. Well, we just don't somebody turned the channel to the game because I'm having a lot of things that are happening outside of your game. Is it important is happening? We can't. I'm having a watch. No control in a cool way. You want to control the channel. Turn the game right now to Western Michigan and Michigan. It's coming down to the 19 seconds. All right. You're clicked in. All right. Can we talk about Auburn? Oh, it's like 19 seconds left. Yeah. I'm in a 50 left. And do I have a Michigan has to got that ball? Okay. So it's over. Nine. So no, they just got to first down. They're driving. We're looking at we by the way, guys don't act like we didn't watch this game. What happened was we were watching the game the entire time and then LSU came on and we got to get ready for the show. So we've been following this the entire time. Right. But now we're getting down to the
need. We got some Bryce Underwood commentary that's been, you know, shared amongst us. Remember the microphone. Oh, yeah. I'm up there. But yeah, let's get back to this Auburn game. Just in general takeaways. DJ Lagoa, the Joel award. You was the preseason Joel award pick. Almost had his moment in this game. Yeah. All the two point conversion. He battled. You know, I'm saying because he wasn't looking good early, you know, look inaccurate. I mean, I, I've never thought he was like an especially great athlete. Slow footed. He was the number one dual threat quarterback coming out of high school. Yeah. And I mean, he's a big guy. But I saw. They were talking about, oh, man, DJ Lagoa ain't shit. He's out here being looking sorry. He was saying that both of y'all. I don't think either one of us. Nobody said, you know, you said. I said, he was having a bad game. Yeah, you said that. I know, I know you said. I know I did say. I didn't say. I didn't say. I didn't say. But, but then he battled and he came back and he had some great throws down the stretch. And I mean, he's an inch away, an inch away from having a great Saturday.
Yeah, it's the game of inches right there at the end of the game. DJ Lagoa, 333 yards in this game. So that was encouraging. I know you're 33 yards. What 27 to 54. Look, I'm not DJ Lagoa. He's 50%. Especially I think into the game to me, played more than well enough for Baylor to win the game. Also had a terrible drop. Had a terrible drop, but they ended up scoring on that drive. Right. Same guy. Same guy. So he came back to him. DJ Lagoa looked like, because he at one point in the second half of the game, he was seven of 23. And they just didn't have very much rhythm moving the ball through the air. But it looked like in the clutch, he came through and did enough for them to win. But what a hell of a stop by Arbor at the goal line to stop the two point conversion. Yeah, Eric Winners. That's right. It made great play. I mean, just right. Yeah, right there. Do dropped him right there. He had no momentum. The other thing that I was thinking about is, uh, Oh, man. It was the first live show of the season. And Joel has completely. No, man. Okay. No, I'll come back. So the dual.
Doldy Price says that going to go on for two was the wrong call. No. Do you tell everybody why you think going for two was a lot of you were adamant that you want to add them about it because you're a Mac Brown put into two up. Put into it because I mean, you have a chance to end it. This is the only time that you're going to have a chance to end the game. And it did feel like Auburn was a better team throughout the game. So they could steal one. Yeah, you just thought, all right, you run your best two point play. And then, you know, you live a die with that. Auburn calls the timeout. That's what people were saying when Auburn called the timeout. Maybe then you course correct and you kick the extra point, you know, but again, they went for they had it. It was right there for the take. It was right there for the take. So I mean, oh, so this is what I was going to say. Okay. My concern is like sometimes when you see quarterback start to look bad. It's very rare. In this is it's true for a lot of things like if a coach like loses it and starts losing a lot of games. It's very rare that you see them like when they're way back in which is what they were and is right. But so with quarterbacks though, and I was trying to think I was like, have I ever known a quarterback that go through a really bad stretch. It just looked like that's not the guy and ever really resurrect that. Nobody really comes to mind.
Botox. Absolutely. So the thing about bone X is that it was just so inconceivable that he could ever be good that it wasn't even that because you were bone X when I first saw that. I would say that. Wait a second. But exactly what you know. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, yeah. Right. Exactly what you just did. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh yeah. Right. Exactly what you just said. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh yeah. Right. So, the more just southern, I think was the new fix. Didn't never look the good like when he started as a freshman. I never thought he was good. But that's not, but you might have not thought that he was good, but he had played himself into being the starter at Auburn. Yeah. And he had, he had played himself into being a starter that people thought had a tremendous upside in Auburn. I thought, I thought I thought it was like, yeah, he may have upside, but he saw it in coaches son or you know the son of a legend, all that of the sort of stuff. up to any of that stuff. I was like, man, I could do it. It's not good. Then all of a sudden, he got to be really good in a great NFL quarter with DJ lag or or or before that. But yeah, yeah, or but DJ lag way looked pretty good. Like he popped like it spots during his freshman year.
Yeah. And then last year he let them start at six and one. Yeah. Yeah. And he's a press. And then last year, he let the nation and the exceptions among P4 starting quarter. Got an A peer fired. And then yeah, and he hasn't played injured and he didn't look great today. Like he didn't look bad and he did battle and get them back in the game. But he didn't look. He like you would want a former five star. So what he didn't look like was the program changing talent that he was described as as he when he came into the actual. Yeah. Potential top five pick. Potential like the guy with the Canon arm who can also truck you the gigantic. He didn't he hasn't looked like that. Although I give him a tremendous amount of credit for the Moxie 80 Show in the game. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. And then on the Auburn side of it. I mean, again, 10 straight season over. So we had to fact check that to make sure that was correct. It was correct. And Alex Goliath to win his first game as Auburn Tech coach. That was a big deal for him to be able to survive. Can I just say something real quick? Yeah. Western Michigan did not get the first down. They are lining up to kick a field goal right now, which would put them up by five
with 38 seconds. They just fumbled it last play. They almost lost the ball. Right. So let me ask you these are Kmart ass uniforms. In fact, this if in fact, Western Michigan wins this game. Well, it would take a touchdown drive for Michigan in less than 40 seconds. Legacy drive for Bryce underwood. It would be a remarkable miracle drive for him. What kind of upset with this be? This would be obviously you're not touching the top 25. There are some. This is more this is more than it is also an in state. I'm trying to think it's an Appalachian state S. Appalachian. Yeah. I think it's maybe even more significant than that because Appalachian did you just correct his pronounce his pronunciation of it? Well, I mean, this is Mr. Tulane and crystal. What did you say? I'm not on the memory. Appalachian. Appalachian. Appalachian. Appalachian. Which is it? What are you asserting North Carolina dominance over this? Is the Appalachian Mountain? You can't say Appalachian. I mean, you can say whatever you want.
But, well, obviously not. Yeah. I mean, I was just trying to help him out before the Appalachian you know, state fans. I know. You're one princess in your life and you just stay high. Like, now you feel like you can tell I'm like, man, I'm just I'm covering for Joel, you know. He's spinning out over here literally. Oh my god. Which is great. Oh, that's amazing. So any of you know, literally, I mean, Appalachian's day was probably still a bigger upside because I don't think people suspect. I don't know about that because Western Michigan is a school. 12 to 7 now. Never. It's just like, it's one of those in state schools that Michigan has. It's the thumb on its fucking neck. Do you think this is a counter-stallion? It's a get back game. This is a karma. Comments. Maybe because he was a Western Michigan. Yeah. But I'm sorry. But Appalachian state had a history of success. They were a great FCS team. I don't know Western Michigan had one great year with PJ Flex. When they remember, I had a Corey Davis and they played a boat in with 13 and one. What was the quarterback? No, I'm not thinking about PJ Flex. I'm thinking about Central Michigan who had the Chippewa's.
Yeah, they had. What was the guy's name? It was Dan LaFeed. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, well, good note. I like Joel's brawny paper towel shirt. So guys, can I tell you a story about the shirt real quick? Joel was wearing a different shirt the entire day. Tate is wearing what he wore. It was a great shirt. I wore what I wore. Billy has on it. He had on FIU. Joel actually, when I pick Billy up, I was like, oh, okay, that's what you're going to wear. Joel did a late go say. That's basically man Clemson dog. I mean, this is a waxing. Can I name something in this game? No, yeah, please. LSU is not passing the ball very well. They're running the ball down. Clemson's throat. Sam is running around. We're giving the ball up to the running backs. We're mashing the ball down there. Broke. The LSU has not been able to put together a rhythm consistent passing game. It's, I mean, it's wet out there. I'll say this. I think
Clemson ends up starting Tate Reynolds in the second half. I think that's what we're leading to right now. They have no offensive push. If you pull that plug, I mean, I guess you can always go back to it. But it's just like, oh, you're bailing on me already. I think you got to go for the more talented player at this point. I mean, this game's already out of hand. Maybe they're just like whatever we're getting ready for the ACC. But this is not a good look. I actually said that this could be 21 to 3 and that time. You know what? You did say that thing. That's why you're on the game. I'm going to show, bro. Oh, God. Well, I was guys. Yo, I mean, that's one of those things with like Navajo Swinney. It just brings in a focus because we talked about this in the off season. It's like, oh, with Clemson gets ever gets tired of him and ever want to fire him. After a while, this is tired of watching. You get you get you get you, you're like, oh, okay, that those championships were a long time ago when people didn't know that Dishonwax was a creep. You know what I'm saying? Like it was been a long time since Clemson. Also, they had Alabama's number back then a little bit. Yeah. And it's just like, you don't want to keep seeing this. Bro, they've lost three games, at least three games for five years. The four for the last five.
The Gators want to know in the chat whether or not we want to dinner. Guys, that dinner is supposed to be happening right after this show. Yeah. Yeah. Do it for Lionel. Yeah. Yeah. Come on, Joe. For Lionel. Should we do our one big reaction? Obviously, these games are playing out real time. Maybe we should wait for the end of this Michigan game because I feel like that would be a big reaction. Is there another 35 seconds Michigan has a ball of no time out? It is not going to happen. Anything going to happen. We do have some drama. This is really I mean, Michigan. I feel for Michigan fans at this game. This is supposed to be first game for Kyle Woodingham. Get your kind of legs underneath you. Feel good about the season. I'll be honest with you. If you obviously Michigan fans and Michigan wants to win this game. But this obviously, but this game is a disaster no matter what. Yeah. Yeah. Even if you put it out, even if you put it out, when this game is a disaster no matter what you want to. Obviously, you want to win. You should, you should need a game saving drive to be western
Michigan at home. And it looked like this from the start. Like we were watching this game and we were like, how is western Michigan getting a push on these guys? I mean, it's just this is really sad. But you know what? This is why I always say I had to theoretical argument with people about like how is one championship is never enough? Like no people fans are never happy. Like you think that the glow from a championship is going to last for a long time and it really doesn't look how we're talking about clips. Oh, sorry. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Hey. So just real quick, Joel, you are one of the most accomplished reporters. One of the best writers I've ever read. Thanks, bro. Long form podcasts and phenomenal slow burn. This is audio visual medium. So the people are we're going to need you to speak into the my band. This is really tough. I don't have to do this at home. What? Talking to a mic like this. I'll cut this mic. Yes. I mean, you do talking to a mic. I do, but it's in a different situation. Yeah. All right. So let's just do one big reaction before the end of this game. We're watching
this drive live. If you were a fan of college football, you should turn on this Michigan western Michigan game. This is history happening in real time. At least feels that way, right? I mean, this just feels like it's turning very sour, very quickly, but then what big reaction outside of this right now that you have for the, you know, first games today? We are so back. Yeah. We are so back. And this season is going to be the story of the Whiteouts. Think about the Whiteout crop that we have. Yeah, everybody showed out Malacatoni showed out Coleman showed out. Daddy of the year, I'm not going to tell daddy to you. Yeah. Oh, Michigan. Oh, Michigan's got time for that. Hold on. Wait a second. Michigan. Michigan right now. You're the running of the line. They're going to have time for the first and 10 from the beauty live show is that we are with you. Why was 11 seconds? So who else got a ride? Coleman Williams got off. We got Satania. Satania got off.
DeCory and more DeCory and more went crazy in the best. Another game. Really. KJ Duff got off. Unfortunately, and it was one of the most horrific losses that it just happened to you. Talk about Rutgers. You mass. Yeah. Rutgers. KJ Duff is the real deal. Man, a poor, poor Clemson. Yeah, Vazena's getting. So you out there. I'm just saying you out there. I'm out there feeling sorry. Oh, look. It's like that's a crazy cool. Michigan. That's your cousin. Yeah. He's actually your cousin. No. Oh, man. I was like, what? Same spelling, no, shout out to him. Nate Frazier, another guy that went off for Georgia. Georgia looked good in their opener as well. Just, you know, thinking. So I'm just saying the wide outs that they really showed out today. And there's a deep, deep pool of really dynamic wide receivers like in college football. We saw them. Oh, yeah, McLelland and Oregon. Oregon. I mean, we haven't talked about the Oregon game yet. But is that your one big reaction? DeCory and more and Evan Stewart. Yeah, and Evan Stewart. You well, actually, my one big reaction was that man, Keelan Russell. He's probably the real deal, man. I think
like it's early. It's early. But I say one yard short of Bryce Young's debut. I 2021. I take heart. The fact that Keelan DeBore has never really had a bad quarterback and that he's a good developer of quarterbacks. Like he worked with, he made Michael pinnocks into Michael pinnocks. Right. Well, I mean, Michael pinnocks made Michael pinnocks into Michael pinns, but you know what I'm saying? But every, take them to another level. Yeah, everything because because at the beginning of the season, Alabama was the last of those schools that was in that bunch in the top 25. And it was all because we don't know what that quarterback going to look like. Like we're like, it may be Austin Mack, it may be Keelan Russell. And if it's Keelan Russell, he'll be a true freshman. But underwood through the ball out the back of the mother fucking in zone. Are you fucking kidding me? Bryce Young, they're going to find your football. Underwood through the fucking football. All right, that's all right. Out of the back of the mother fucking in zone. Are you kidding me? That is so, you got to get you got to give me space real quick. Yeah, that is so emblematic of what the problem
is here. If there is one thing that you can't do at the end of the game to give your team a chance to win. Yeah. Is take the goddamn football and chuck it out of the back of the end zone. Now, there's a review here happening for some reason. I told you this is home. I remember how I was saying that the Western Michigan guy looked like he had a little Negro spice. The Western Western Michigan head coach. He's actually a member of the town of back on. He's actually a member of the Choctaw Indians. All right, the head coach for Western Michigan. So shout out Lance Taylor, Doug. What a that has to be the, I mean, of course, it's obviously got to be biggest winning program history. I mean, because if you beat the monster in your state, that's not the monster big 12, not the monster big 12, but different. Man, I can't believe I cannot believe Michigan lost that game. Well, they haven't lost yet. They put a little bit of talent on time. Yeah, yeah. Underwood put his helmet back on. Uh-uh. There, like it looks like right now that's celebrating that there might have been some sort of foul in the end zone that might
have them replay this now. Oh, man. So it, but, you know, well, I mean, I'm not rooting for anybody, but I want that game to be over so I can stop thinking about it. Yeah. Anyway, so like we'll know what happens here in a second. So take away from my rant, but still in that situation, the situation on awareness to touch the quarterbacking that you wanted to, that you want to see from Bryce Underwood, it just has not manifested itself yet. No, they, they're running it back there. Doug, I mean, they had 75 yards on that phrase. He looked okay on the first driver of the game. He was fine. He looked, he's like, okay, like they rolled a little bit. They scored an end done in the ship since then they had 75 that first drive when 75 yards, they had 90 yards next to quarters yards. They had 90 yards next to quarters total. And that's just like, you this is the mission every time the show woulding him on the sidelines, he looks completely overwhelmed. Yeah, what's happening? I mean, this is the worst way. Here we go. You're tired. Yeah, exactly. That's pretty good. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, one second back on the top. That was a replay. Yeah. Okay. All right. Oh,
man, timeout. Yeah, well, you all watching the game. What does man? What's up? Yeah, everybody's hanging out with us watching. Do you have it on LSU Clemson on the big screen like us? Which we have that we've been all watching Michigan and Western Michigan for everybody out there. All the gators, Van has promised and vowed to stay locked into the show. You don't need to lock you locked into this game. I don't think you really need to lock you in. It feels like it's pretty subtle. But you're also even if there's no miraculous comeback by cleansing here, you do want to see how LSU looks and like what the things that they do. You're grinding tape right now. I mean, that's the thing. It's like man, Clemson, you came into LSU with everything that is most chaotic. Like you would think this is a great opportunity. This is a brand new team of a bunch of different pieces in the midst of one of the craziest weeks any program has ever had and they beat your mother fucking ass. I mean, you know, I'm saying like they're beating this shit out of y'all, man, it's crazy. Yo, but my thing, I was, let me just finish the thing I was going to say about my dude, Keelan Russell. Yeah, yeah. This is your big reaction. The reason, the reason that that's
amazing because if, if he's as good as his potential suggests and if he's in, you can project improvement, then I think they're better than all of those other teams that are ranked in front of them except for Georgia and Texas because that, but if that, if Keelan Russell is that, he's better than Mars, he's better than what Marcel Reed and Texas and him got really. Yeah, he's better than, I mean, I'm sure he's very good, but it's like touchdown Michigan. On you man. That is, I wish I said I was looking at this. That is a Hail Mary to the victors right there. That is one second. There was not a second. Yeah, that is. I wish I could have said because I was standing real. I was like, when I saw this picture of Kyle Wittingham, I was like, this is, this feels like the kind of thing that happens and you look back in a, in a, that is crazy. That's why I should have gone for it a fourth down earlier. They would have kicked a field goal. They would have had to go for two to tie. They
would have won this game. Yeah, yeah, going for it earlier because they didn't think they were, they didn't think they were going to be still in the game at that point, right? They're just like, we got to get out of points we can get. Look at Bryce Underwood. I'm the one. I told you. I'm the one. I told you. You got to knock him out of the top 25 still, right? Yeah, I think so. I told you. That is unreal. I mean, man, get the, oh my God, that's unbelievable. I cannot believe that I have, I'm, I'm shell shock. It's like, I really, I didn't have a whole conversation about this. I had an image in my head. So really, I was like, man, that's just so weird when something like that happens. It's like you get, it's just, you give something for craziness. I got, I got to say something. You guys, what? Just great play for them to win the game at the end. That is one of the biggest bullshit home cooking fixing calls that I've ever fucked. Yeah. They give him a redo there. And I think Bryce Underwood heard you, man. I think they had the live stream. He was like, I got to give him a chance. I mean, oh my God, given them a second was unbelievable. But then to make the most of you have to give him credit.
You have to give him credit for doing that. But that was truly, truly bullshit from a Michigan team that was bullied around by directional school. It was a molecule for Michigan. Yeah, that was an absolute molecule. But they make it work. That was probably going to be the highlight of week one, which is insane that a tail marry from Michigan to be what is insane, man. Yeah, that's a big reaction right there. I guess he drives like a see drive. I said, it was worth the investment. I want to know, it's still one of no. Let's see what Kyle has to say. He looks like he's still confined up. That would happen. Yeah. I would never have happened at Utah. They would have gotten that second at Utah. They lost as much as any team can possibly lose lost their win. Yeah. I'm saying like they didn't do shit right after the first quarter. And it looked like the game was over and they won like that. That's tough, man. Let's look at Michigan. Look at them. They beat Western Michigan at home. Look at the celebration. Yeah, you would think they just be on the other side of the helmet. You got to, I mean, you got to celebrate it like that.
You got to. Yeah. You got to feel good about it because you never, I mean, obviously you didn't expect it. But like you would prepare for your team to be like, oh, man, it would have seasoned. This is going to be. Well, it's funny because like I've like talking to head coaches throughout the years, doing interviews and things like they always say the first win is really hard, right? No matter who it is or what it is. And I do feel like for Kyle, waiting. Yeah. This is probably just pure relief at this point that he was able to get this. You can, I mean, you can, if you lose this game or site, it's over. If you lose this game, his tenure is always. Yeah, it's like it's so weird. Yeah. Oh, man, look at brother Doc. Oh, man, it's tough. It's got to be tough. But at the same time, like they need to, we showed the replay here, like the, the defense on that final play on that Hell Mary was absolutely terrible. That looks more like a actual seam right seam right now in the middle of the Hell Mary at all. That's yeah, man. Yeah, look, Bryce underwood in this game.
12 of 22 170 yards. Uh, 70 yards. 70 is so far. That's a one. One. One touchdown. One in a section. Now that's a $12 million quarterback. And obviously people know as quarterback that was supposed to come to LSU, we got so they might say you're hate out. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not hating it all. I'm saying they may be the remitry in the line. But I don't think this is hate. I think you're telling truth. Uh, a Michigan offense led by this type of talent just still looks in that through the air. Well, here's a play right here. It's a great throw. Yeah, I mean, I heard so much about Savion Hider all off season. And it's like they couldn't, they couldn't run the ball against Western Michigan. They couldn't keep, they couldn't keep Western Michigan's offense off the field. Yeah. So it's just yeah, they didn't look good. But again, it doesn't matter now because you like, you know what, it'll never, it will never be that bad. You could say to yourself, it would never be this bad. And by the way, Western Michigan running the ball, 46 carries for 132 yards, 2.9 yards of carry. They threw the ball for 15 for 21,
15 of 21 for a nine yards for yards, um, average through the air. It's not as if they came there and lit it up. They just were able to push Michigan around, keep Michigan off the field and just kind of do what they need to do in spots because Michigan's offense was so anemic. Yeah, like no explosive miss at all. Man, yeah, somebody was somebody was saying it was, you know, the Russians, remember how the Russians won the Olympic gold in 72. They put more time on the clock and shit. You remember that US men's basketball 1972? Yeah, 1972 Olympics. That's negative. That's made up time. That game. That's crazy. It's fucking over. Yeah, they're replaying it right now. The game is over the one second was they do it. They do it. They do it. I'm a boy, Jevary Asim's number eight from West Michigan. I mean, talking about rushing the field after that too. I mean, this is Michigan. They won the national championship. Yeah, but I mean, dog, that's two years ago.
That that win has to feel better than any win outside of a playoff win or, you know, a national championship or beat no Ohio State. Really? I mean, I'm in the game that you have no business winning. I like it. You can't play, but I can't. You have no business winning. Yeah, but they're playing. They feel that. That feels that guys agree with me. This Russia is the big guy. Is that better than then Michigan 31, Purdue 13 hell yeah, it does. So you saying the emotion of the emotion from we're going to lose so we win. It feels great. Makes it feel better than pretty much mixed and feel about as good as any victory you can have outside of one that's like over Ohio State. You you will not feel the same about being in Illinois 44 to nine. Well, they're not going to be Illinois based on this. We're probably not. I think that's a big takeaway here is like how bad is Michigan going to be this year? They're definitely not a top 25. Joe, your fans here in the chat are not agreeing with you.
They're not my fans man. Joe's the most famous you have to agree with it. Nobody agrees with me. I'm used to it. I had a friend amount of day. It was like nobody agrees with me on this. I'm like, why the fuck should I care about that? I was like, but you know what? But I was like, you know what? I mean, maybe I should. Yeah. So Michigan wins the game. Obviously, Coach football doesn't get the story of Michigan losing to Western Michigan. Kyle, when he had gets this game, the chances that Michigan because they didn't die here, find themselves and find their football identity and go on to have a really phenomenal season. Yeah. It is. Or what? Slim. You say slim. Oh, I think, I mean, they're going to, I don't know, man. That's the kind of thing you can build off of. That's you can rally around it. You like, we'll never play this bad again. We still won. Maybe, maybe somebody's got some twinkle, some twinkle dust. Maybe the little bit of our season. Somebody, you know, you could be, you could get very religious about that and be like, you know, we're supposed to win. They play Oklahoma next week. I mean, again, it's better to go into the game. Did you watch Oklahoma
play week one? Yeah, Oklahoma looked fucking dominant. Oklahoma looks like they will dominate. Yeah, I mean, I don't think the defense for Michigan to give them some credit. Football is weird. Football is weird. No, you can't judge the defense of Michigan from this game. Yeah. They were playing such an athletically inferior team. Yeah. But the defense, you can't judge how good the defense is. You can't say anything about Michigan right now except for the fact that they won the game. Do you think who you think is better? Where's the Michigan in Utah? Uh, I'm not sure. Probably what you probably, you tell me. I mean, I'm looking at those schedule. I would say Oklahoma, I like their chances to win at Michigan. You tap at Michigan. I would take Michigan there. Iowa at Michigan. I would look a lot better than Michigan. I just, I don't mean Minnesota. Minnesota look good in their first game. Penn State at Michigan. Penn State look good. I know that. Rocco Beck look good. I know that they look bad. But I'm just saying that Indiana, you can easily say to yourself. They get at Rutgers. That's a win. You can say, you can say what was the line? I'm just bad. Oh, it had to have been like 30. So what says they were 28 point favorites. Yeah. That's what I'm afraid to
look like 30 points. Yeah. Woo. That's tough. That is tough. Maybe like you said, maybe they galvanized together and say, Hey, we can't ever let this happen again and this, you know, shoot some of the red direction. Maybe they find God like Joel said. Yeah, find God. I think tomorrow's a good day to go to church. Uh, Western. So, so Western Michigan, if Javari says interview here, this, the only thing, the thing that I can tell you about today as much as it hurts is that 15 years from now, you and your, you and your team are going to laugh about this shit. Like you'll be mad. But it'll be like, remember that time we got jobbed up there and y'all are talking. It'll be a bonding experience. You be like, man, that was some bullshit. I don't think that. Yeah. Number one, I don't think that better to say that one. That's what the saying is. Like, what? It would have been the story. But this will still be a story. You'll be like, damn, I don't know. You remember that time we got, you know, they robbed us up there and out. And they, it'll be some of the remember forever. They cheated. They cheated Western Michigan. They'll remember forever and with their older men, they'll be like, damn, that's something.
It'll be a bonding experience. I don't think you let anything go. Why would you think they would let that go? That's right. That's good. I don't think for the rest of their lives, they'd be like, damn, man, you and they 55 years old. You think they'll be like, man, it's sucked. We did be. Be easy. 32 says Western, Western got lessened to steal. Do you know what that means, Joe? Yeah. I'm familiar. We go with some rats from different guy, three coals and flows. Jay. Steve. How are you? I was living that thing like that. But Joe was talking about watching 1970 do Olympics like he was. But it was you weren't there for that. No, but man, it was a game that was right within. It was a game that was infamous because whenever I know when the Olympic team you discusses it, you know, whenever they would talk about the men's Olympic team, an 84 and 88 or whatever, they'd be like the only other time US is lost in international competition. And they would re show that team with Doug Collins on it because Doug Collins was under US men's Olympic team 68 and them giving Russia more time on the clock to score again.
And that was also when they were the USSR, right? So they had like Lithuania, Slovenia. Oh, you all. They had all the country. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They had them all. They had the Ukraine. I don't know. Yeah. Shout out to line that. Look, so I mean, obviously Michigan is going to be a big story. LSU playing well, although once again, the passing game is not clicking. What other teams? Can I get a reaction just quickly on LSU, just the intro, like the walk, you know, Lane Kiffin's first impression goes on game day to day. Like does it, does it mesh with LSU culture? What? The having just later. Have it. Have it. Have it. Have it. Have it. Have it. You done and the whole thing. So look, I'll say this. Y'all didn't know that all it in people. Y'all didn't know that the native girl was from Baton Rouge and stuff like that. Yeah. Sure. So this is the thing about LSU. Does it mesh? Not really because the culture is so deep there. But it will be interesting to see because LSU is different than it used to be. We didn't used to have like Libby Dunes and Paul Skins and people like that. Crazy. That were like cultural
stars that were to LSU. It was all about sports, right? Yeah. So like it is interesting now to see those type of influence, celebrity, influencer celebrities affiliated with the school. The native girl, her granddad was the assistant athletic director at LSU, I believe. Okay. So she has deep LSU roots. So she's right. So like those three people are LSU. Like and Theo Vaughan with there as well. They're part of the LSU family. So yeah, it's not really out of the ordinary to have them around. But we haven't had people that matter like that before. That matter. They don't fucking matter. But that people cared about. Yeah. Now it's weird because yeah, I'm just like, I feel like LSUs everywhere. It just it felt like a rock star environment around there today. I felt very Nashville. Not very bad. When it was the last time you you felt like that around that kind of energy and national attention around the team. I just can't like it's like the worst of the cam Newton 2010 theme merge with I don't know. But it just it's just a lot of weird energy around the team. You know, I make it, you know, it's kind of superstarsian. And they look at
them and they play and they play in them too. Well, and that's the thing. Like if they dominate and they win games like this, then none of that really is going to seem so good. Yeah. Vano you'll be you'll have so much fun room 14. We listen to the O'Vonnes podcast. Dominate. You're going to be like having a you want to be like room for the UNLV Rebels of football. You should like that. Oh, they might be some rebels. They can. Rebels. Hey, by the way, we just like one let you guys know that we're also tuning into the Twinkle Bowl. Yeah, seven seven UCLA. Now Bill Simmons fucking said that this team is going to win 10 games. You can see UCLA winning 10 games. If they're going to win 10 games, it's got to start right now. They have to be cow tonight. Mm hmm. And JKS versus Nico. I mean, that's a great match. Great game. And also it's another beautiful California color game. I just love the way it looks. I love cows uniforms. I love these uniforms. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 31 to 3 LSU with that. Also an ACC Big 10 showdown. We love that. One of the reactions I want to get your reaction to
Oklahoma State. The season is already over. I mean, a lot of hype drew Mestemaker, Eric Morris. This is supposed to be hey, we're bringing North Texas over to Oklahoma State. We're going to actually be a team worth watching this year. They go on the road to Tulsa and we get a no show. That's a bad loss, but I mean, Monster Big 12. They were horrible. Monster. Monster. Big 12. Energy Lee. Monster big L. The thing, the thing that she, the thing that would must be disturbing is like we didn't know how Drew Mestemaker is going to play this slightly higher level. A football, but not really because they would have played talk. They could have played Tulsa in that conference, but in North Texas, look great last year. Yeah. They did. They could play great in big games. Yeah. But she know he didn't though. Because when you're okay. You're on the tape. Yeah, grind at the tape. Okay. And the pro high profile game against USF he was terrible. And in the eight, in American Championship game he was terrible. And they played behind those whole game. So you're saying when the lights are bright. Yeah. Yeah. And so like this is like, yo, like this is your big game and you look like that against Tulsa. That's, I don't know. I would, but the thing is those,
like don't get overly concerned about it. They were a bad team last year. Like what are you supposed to expect this year? Why did they start this season at Tulsa? That is crazy. That's a great question. That is crazy. I actually like it because it shows that you're not afraid to go on the road. It's also great for Tulsa to get that game, but that can't be the result. I don't never happen to get it. I guess probably in the future bro. Quill mistakes. I was like, no, why would you take that game? And I see a lot of the first year head coaches have had, you know, goalish as we mentioned before. Some were all had a great start. So like everyone's having like, you know, for the most part, good starts. But Eric Morris is the only one that's on the wrong side of that. And obviously Kyle Woodingham was going to be he would be the bigger story. So Oklahoma states probably even more upset that that happened. And they got the one second because now they're the big upset that we're going to talk about. And obviously Clemson will be discussed. This game continues to trend this way. 31 to three right now. If you're not keeping up on this game and LSU just looks dominant to say. So guys, I haven't been on Twitter in like a month. Are you going to win back? So I longed in. I longed on to tweet out that Western Michigan got job. Man, I'm getting fucking killed.
Really? On Twitter for many different things that takes that I've had over the past month. What? Because you, I mean, you, you're in a lot of different circles talking about a lot of different. Yeah. So yeah, you bring in like the Marvel Cinematic Universe comic world. You got the sports world. You got the political commentary world. So it's not afraid. It's true. It's satisfied. You know, there is does that's not going to get off Twitter game by Twitter. I just want to tweet. I want to tweet. That's why you're going back to Twitter. It's a port, bro. Come on, the blue sky of Western. No, no, no, no, no, no, no more skating. No, man, can't skate anymore. One big question that we you kind of touched on this van a little bit. Why receiver one in college football? We got four high's been poses. What's up? You were right. They've got once again, man, whatever advice take gives y'all this year. Take it because Clemson's going with the new quarterback in half time. Take Reynolds. That's what Tate said before the game. He's like, I bet they're going to get beat so bad. And you never know if take Reynolds is going to play. I said, they're going to get some garbage points to make it look closer than an accident. Yeah, man, you might
want to come. You got some good information. I mean, he's predicted the game exactly. Well, I guess it's not quite the thing. I said it was going to be 21 to three when they made the decision. It's 31 to three. Also, the turnover on the first driver LSU. Yeah, man. So Clemson not able to capitalize on that. I guess I got three points, but they should have at least a first. I'm losing like that, man. You go up against the biggest smart fan base like Clemson football fans. They really don't like that. They know football. He really don't know. You know, LSU does not have their fastball right now. It's fact. It is. What does that say about me? Just being honest, what does that say about the Clemson team right now? Like, okay, we look at the stats of this game. LSU was playing good dominant defensive football. They're playing dominant football in the trenches on a run game, but they have not figured out parts of their offense yet. And they steal the kind of one dimensional and still are not able to to come to still isn't able to stop what LSU's doing. Well, the thing about Clemson when they were great was the D line and O line were never a question. And in this game, they're going to
absolutely work on both sides of the ball so far. And I think that says a lot. Well, the D line has always been a question, but even when the offensive line was like, okay, but not great, they had generational talents that quarterback and wide receivers. Yeah, the skilled position. And it's just like you can just see the arrow. I mean, Westco and more are really good, but they're not Sammy Watkins. They're not, you know, oh boy, you know, I know for my dad said he's like, he's not a very attractive looking person. I just want you to figure it out. The guy, yeah, for the Texans for a little bit, man, Jandre Hopkins. He's not the hunter. No, he's got a shout out. Are you saying that the Andre Hopkins don't look good? Like my dad said that. Wait, he got that was a lot of you. You the man as far as we're we can also raise a rule for the Andre. Yeah, let's say I think I probably didn't hold you doing all kinds of things on Georgia Tech staff by the way. I mean, should we hit on that, by the way? No, that was a coach. Yes, he was. Coach Prime gets a win. That's a big story.
Yeah, the Bella check wins week zero. Coach Prime week one. So think about this. Last year, we thought that Bella check and coach, Ramon are going to be gigantic stories. We had a whole segment. They ended up not being gigantic stories for us. Both guys were kind of thought irrelevant. The relevant afterthoughts, they both get wins in the first week. Yeah, both get wins in the first week. And the wins from both of them say so much about their respective teams. Colorado, say what you will, it wasn't a phenomenal game by Juju, but Juju made plays at the end of the game. And Colorado dominated pushed around. So they were small before the game. Yeah, that's what Georgia Tech does. And also what Georgia Tech does is block kicks. They lead the country and block kicks. And at the end of the game, Colorado turns a, you know, on the head and they get the block hit over Aiden Burris, supposed to be the best kicker in the country. He goes to for four in that game. Yeah, well, I mean, the thing is, it was another one of those things that we thought Colorado, they, they won, they won in spite of being like, they did not look good and they were losing. Whatever we thought at the end of that game is like, Oh, Juju Lewis is not going to put it together. But again, if you
win your first game, you can always say, well, we'll never be worse than we are today. And we're going to get better. And so that's what you hope, that's what you hope you can build off with Michigan. And that's what you can say too. So I thought Alberto Mendoza was pretty solid for the most part of that game, but the fact that Mendoza was unable to get a run game. I mean, Justice Haynes comes over from Michigan, look good early. And then he just got stuff the rest of the game. I just logged out of Twitter. You're out. All right. I'll leave it up for how long I probably won't go back, man. Twitter makes me very reactive. Threads. I'm going to be honest with threads though. Threads is a good thing. Threads is okay, but I haven't seen the sports on threads like talking about. I don't even know about it. I just want to call threads out real quick. Shout out to threads. Cool. I want to call threads out. Y'all toxic as fuck as well. I just want to let you know that I say whatever on the list. It's like the worst of black Twitter with the worst of black Twitter. It's like the worst of black Twitter. The essence. The thread. Right. So this is what I don't want. I don't know if it's the worst of. I mean, we're not okay. Maybe not. You say the worst of
black Twitter. The worst of black women is what you're saying. Is that what it is? Well, you're saying because you're if you talk about black Twitter. No, I'm getting people to defend in jazzy. Yeah, okay. Whatever. I'm saying. So you know what you know what threads is like to me? Yeah, be careful. Do y'all remember when the uh and this you know, y'all I'm not trying to whatever. Y'all remember when you're instigating. Oh no, just listen. The y'all remember when the Israelites got kicked out of Egypt or they left Egypt. Remember this? Okay, remember when the Israel is talking about this like he talks about Nike. This is so the Israelites were delivered from Egypt by Moses. I don't know if you've heard this story before. It's an part part of the Red Sea. It's before I was born. Okay, cool. Yeah, yeah. Do you remember when they got out there and then they made their own golden calf? They started while in. Do you remember when they had the golden calf? They they leave Egypt and then they get out there and all of the sudden everything's gone Moses leaves and then they made the golden calf and they go on crazy. Threads is like them with the golden calf. They have their own idolatry and their own thing. They
just re fucking repaid it. Yeah, what does everything that they were complaining about on Twitter was and they're putting on threads? You know, I just yeah, I guess out when I'm working on threads, I think, oh man, these are a lot of bots. Like I just feel like, oh, I can never really tell how many because I'm like, you know, you know, you're not even following me. How did you get to find this ? I don't have a lot of followers here. So like, why are you even here? Okay. It's just it's feeling like your fans. Send people to follow you. They follow you on threads at by Joel Andrews. I think it's a bad Joel Anderson. What are the other teams who are missing Oklahoma? Who else? Do you? What about Miami? What about Malcat Tony? What about the high? I was going to talk about this. So one big question. Who is why receiver one after week one? So obviously, Malcat Tony breaks Miami record 12 receptions. 234 yards, three touchdowns, three highspin poses in week one. Jeremiah Smith, eight receptions, 151, two touchdowns, one highspin pose from him. DeCory Moore, six for 93 in a TD. Ryan Coleman Williams, obviously the big drop that everyone got on, you know, X, but after that had a really good game, five receptions, 130 yards,
satania, four for 76 in a touchdown, Cam Coleman, three receptions and two touchdowns. Why is everybody at the like, I said something out of out of pocket or something about the exes, this is a Bible, whatever. Go ahead. Fuck you guys. Oh, they even gave me the name. I mean, they're upset. No, the kids are like, that's wild. They mean, it's in the Bible. It's like, yeah, it seems to be the mill. I think when you say, Israelites, people just, they kind of threw them off a little bit, but they like it when Kendrick's Heather. All right. Yeah. Okay. So you were saying, who's Rob receiver one? Yeah. This week is Malacatoni to me. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I mean, the question is like, who's number two? Man, DeCory Moore looked at the day, man. You know, Sam Shodock. I mean, I think is Jeremiah Smith for his Malacatoni and Jeremiah Smith basically did all of his damage in one half. And Malacatoni, what it looked like to me, Jeremiah Smith is just completely unguarded. He's like, completely unguarded. You know, one on one, you can't bracket them. You can't do anything to stop him too big, too strong, too fast. His hands are too good. It does look like though, that the way
Malacatoni is used in Miami's offense, that he is going to get touches and opportunities to make plays behind a line of scrimmage using his legs over the top in scenes. It was very Percy Harvin. Absolutely. But Percy Harvin as also a legitimate deep threat. And it seems like he might get way, get opportunities to make plays in ways that Jeremiah Smith won't because he's more of a traditional Y receiver. He does some of that stuff, too. But if you're looking for somebody that's going to pop off the screen and maybe be like a high-smitten type of guy and capture everybody's imagination, I mean, three poses. Malacatoni might be that guy. Yeah, that's right. I mean, man, they can get him to ball a lot easier. He does a lot with it. I mean, you think, oh man, he's like 190. I mean, he might be up to 195 or something like that. He doesn't seem like he's strong. Me, vampire. Biggest is. You're calling me vampire. That's your boy. That's my gosh. Oh, what are you talking about? Jeremiah Smith, you're going on. Oh, no, I wouldn't say anything
about that. I was telling you. You got side track. Yeah, because, man, it was saying it was saying it was Malacatoni's world that we're living in. Yeah, of course. He was incredible in week one. Obviously, the Indian Mintzel looks so good. Oh, yeah, you look great. Perfect. Look like a veteran in the offense, man. Like dealing, operating. Okay, let me ask, do I say, so who is the best Miami quarterback of your lifetime? Kendorsi? Almost has to probably say still, yeah, I mean, Dorsey is the right, probably the right answer, but I still like cam ward. Okay. Well, I mean, you could say cam ward's better, but Kendorsi, yeah, it's probably cam. There's no more pick. Yeah, yeah. Well, but Kendorsi was the man on, but he is like a system quarterback. Yeah, it's probably the point. How's it going to say? Is it like, Dary and Mintsah? He looks like he could be of that caliber guy. And like, you know, we can cross a bit good solid above average cars and back was great, especially into the years. Dary and Mintsah just feels like, oh, he just gives them a whole another domain. The cross a bit could move, man. You know, some of the Dary and Mintsah's good athlete,
and he looks like a pro is like a quarter. One thing I saw for Mintsah in that game too, it was like obviously Malacat Tony's getting 12 reception, getting a lot of targets, but it did feel like at one point, he was like, okay, I got to get Barca at the ball too. And obviously they were a duke together last year. Somebody said, you're poor hearse. Hey, by the way, when you in the year the ball, no, do you know, Cory Harris was the one that promised he promised he was going to wear a pink Gucci suit. Yeah, he was going to tell you guys, and we're going to have four picks on him right after that. He's a fire. He's a fire. He's a fire. He's a fire. He's a fire. He's a fire. He's a fire. Fire. Fire. Fire. But I'll say this. I'll say this. Jacory Harris, there was like a four game stretch at the beginning of the season. He was he loved. But there's eight more games. I know. In any place that he played North Carolina and butch Davis's defense. And they said they were called him Santa Claus because he was giving out gifts. Yeah, five turnovers in that game. Yeah, that was great. Great time. Can we get a quick ball right here on the full screen here?
Yeah, so you don't want to see no, I guess you don't want to see no more in the Mexican Central Mission game. I mean, I want to. This game. This is the LA game right here. Somebody should call me. Yeah, that's true. The UCLA game is very important for the ringer. You're going full length on UCLA. You mentioned a couple teams that you want to hit outside of the ones we've talked about so far. So let's do contender pretender. I got two teams for you. Let's start with the first one. Willie Fritz and Houston contender pretender. Come on, man. I mean, what are you doing? You doing this to shit? I thought Oregon state. I thought Oregon state. You're doing this to shut out a big 12. Nobody would they continue? What is Houston contender to do? I've been what are you saying they're contending to do to contend to make the playoff? Okay. Right. I would say pretender. I don't think I don't think it's all. I don't think very many people were saying Houston was a playoff contender this year. To win the big 12, I think there was no. Who picked you? Who picked you? I saw. I saw a playoff. I think you did. No, no. Why do you take the big 12 stuff so personally? You guys, I mean, I just know I knew it was some host.
You were trying to get your reaction. You were a vatua pretender. No, I mean, yeah, they they look like a team that is ranked number 23 in the country. That's a top 25 team. You would they do it better? Or 26, 27, 27. Joel, Joel. Was it a good week for just so far? Did you like what you saw? Was it a good week for the monster? Power. Big 12 energy. Was it a good way for just to can you just say yes? You know, was it a good week? It wasn't a good week. It was a monster. Power. Big. Well, you know, why you made me be why you got your talk. Take the fuck out of here. You know what I'm saying? You talk to me. Sixty three to seven shout out to be why you've been a guy in business. And that game they got him Texas tech. But you know, maybe one by three scores over Abel in Christian. I didn't think Houston was a team that would be under consideration. So that's why I put the next. The other team I didn't want to talk about, which is more fascinating, because we were impressed by them.
Boise State. Oh, yeah. Contender, pretender. That could be a G5 team. Could be a G5 team and that gave Oregon everything they wanted. She's on on the G6 on the road. I have a pop in into that game deep into the fourth quarter. Did make some of the mistakes that Western Michigan made by not taking the points early on. Like Boise State, to me, played to the limit of their capabilities as a football team. Well coached executing in ways that they can when they gave up stuff. It was just because they got out out athleteed on the back side. Yeah. And they were playing against guys who are going to be playing on Sundays. So they never back down to that. Never back down at all. And to me, that bodes well for them when they play teams that are close to their talent. That's good for the pack 12. Because Fresno State at USC did not look good for the new pack 12. The Boise State on the road. Old back 12 or new pack 12. Yo, man. Also, another thing I'm glad you mentioned Fresno State. So people kind of forgot. And I don't know if it's because it's been a few years since he's been in the spotlight.
The Gary Patterson is legitimately like one of the best defensive minds in college football. Absolutely. Other last 30, 30 years. Yeah. And he's on the sideline at USC. And he took that two running back systems. And their Fresno State has where they're like, we're going to ground him pound and be one of the best for rushing teams in the country. They couldn't get anything on us. Yeah, man. They looked, I mean, that's that's something that could be game changing for USC. They have that kind of a defense the way they played early in the end again. They didn't have great depth and they gave up a lot of points at the end of that San Jose State game. But that's also they had the third stringers in. Yeah, I'm with some guys. Well, I mean, I just kind of felt if you're a great team, even your third stringers, I live in San Jose State. It's also the depth. But I think that's the difference in today's game though. But like SC looked phenomenal. Yeah, Friday night, they looked, they looked really, really good. And they look like a team that has a clear identity on both offense and defense, which is what I think, I think a lot of people wanted to see from from Lincoln Riley. It was to see a team that like had a real identity and you could tell how they're going to win games.
What instead of just, you know, being always felt like Lincoln Riley's team, the offense is going to be great. The defense was going to be an afterthought. I think with Gary Patterson there, it's like you got a guru. Most sides of the ball. Yeah, they're just, yeah, they're just like, oh, wow, they've got kind of everything they need. Yeah. So people are saying that they thought that Joe was tall. And Tate is looking stacked next to you. What's that? They're saying that Tate looks like he's about six foot seven. Don't go down. Don't go down. They're saying that Tate looks like he's about six foot seven. Tate looks like Ricky Rowe from Blue Chips. What do we, what do we, we're both six, three, six fours? Yeah, I'm six two. Yeah, six two. You're five. Are you five or seven? You said it kind of goes. No one's five or eleven. Billy, Billy was six two. Six two. Yeah. Billy, Billy, I think about it. You're six one six two. You kind of like it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You're five or eleven. You got five. Yeah. When you're five, like I'm five or eleven. It's a game of inches. Yeah. That's fine. That's fine. People like your shirt tonight, Joe. They do? They said it was a TED Talk shirt. Brown.
My wife's five. I said Joe, Joe, I'm holding our B-sharp. My wife just texted me earlier. Like you look like you're following the sleeper. You talked too much earlier. But she's the one that got this shirt. So I'm going to ask if it's cashmere. She knows not. Did you know I'm saying what I said? It looks like it. So my wife got fashion over for men. This is a fashion over for men, right? So you're going to wash that bitch once. And it's over. Yeah. That's a good show. I don't even know if fashion over. Yeah. Yeah, you're a fashion over. It's a good looking shirt, but you're going to wash that bitch once. I wouldn't wash it. It's all pretty actually fucking up at the top. I can see it. No, I got a undersert. No, no, I'm talking about like on the collar of the shirt. OK, now you should hold it down. You know what you should do? If you're not going to wash that, you should sign that and send it to a gator. Yeah, I'll show it. No. Why? Yeah. Well, pick one random gator tonight. You'll send them your shirt. Pick the one they call themselves. They make them as a send to that person. I'll show you a game. I'm never in a distance. You guys know, I've never had a fondly in a fond one. I'm good with my height. Nobody's in here. I never yet. All right. Somebody was saying I was like, I'm cool with it.
Joe, one of the gators wants to know why you never were a nice shirt doing the show from home. That's a great question, gators. I don't. I mean, you don't want to look at it at home. Well, no, I just want to wear a comic shirt. I want to wear a comic baking collar. I like trying to show the college shirt. I'm aware one of my college shirts from this trip on Wednesday. Yeah, you got what? You got two or three counts in college shirts and you got an aunt eater's UC Irvine shirt. Those are the first things that Joe did when he landed. He just shut out a net. It works as student services. Yeah, I want to give her a shot. Yeah, yeah. Because she stayed past 430. Where's your friends? Yeah, I did. And she gave me, I pulled up. And she was like, yo, we done the books when I was close, but they just had shirts laying around. So she gave me some comp and collage shirts. And then I went and got a UC Irvine aunt eater shirt. Yeah, just a standard one, not a specific team. But then you also drove around comp, then we're asking people where the crypts are. Hey, Joe. Hey. Hey, drove around comp, then.
Hey, and was trying to figure out which guys would say any guy to blue hat. Don't throw down the windows of your grip. Nope. It was like trained day with Joe. Hey, you like to get wet. Okay, no, listen. Hey, you like to get, I know you like to get. Joe, look like a straight fucking cop. I would even hop today when you came in with that hat on backwards. You did straight fucking cop. You look like a cop too, Nick. I'm telling you right, but I can't say that I'm rolling around asking people. You look like a cop that take bribes and shit. You know what I'm saying? I would dirty cop. So you would be so you would be a cop. You would be part of the thin blue line. Where we got me in the community. You're just a cop. So you're taking bribes. I'm just, you know, I'm trying to be a blue line. I go in, you know, with full, you know, full heart being like, I want to make a difference. Joe Bunk Anderson. I mean, that's what the guy that the guy that was driving the truck, you know, with Freddie Gray died in. That was what he was saying.
He was like, you know, I'm when, why would you bring a Freddie Gray on the college? Where's the piece, though? What you trying? What you got going on? Well, I covered that story. And the, in the dude was like, man, I just want to go on my community and really help people. And he seems sincere. Like, he was like, he was from this neighborhood. And I was like, okay, like, I don't agree with policing like that. But if you got that, that's the way, right way to go into it. But anyway, I'm sorry. Let's do some quick hitters. I know the Joel got in that office, Chess. What's Virginia officially retired legendary quarterback, Pat White's number five prior to the season. Obviously close game with coastal Carolina. They found a way to win salute to Pat White. Obviously a lot of conversation about retiring number five. But Pat White feels like a number five. They should be retired. He was a dog. He was a dog for bowl games. They were called major. I mean, I don't know. I think major Harris was number nine. I don't ask me. Is that is that a crazy question? No, I just do. I don't know my hair. I think it was more about like, Hey, Pat White salute. That's great. No, I just wondered how many of the is he the major Harris was a really good quarterback for West Virginia.
And if like, I would wonder if his number was retired. Well, a number five is football Hall of Fame. So presumably his number would be. Do you think that they did this because like, of course, they should do this. Or is this like a response to the general situation where they kind of went where we should retire number five here? I really think that this is more about rich rod trying to make people remember restore the feeling. Steve's late Noel divine. Well, I would remind you where you should be like around here when you're trying to bring team back to his glory days and you are the architect of those. This made people remember what it was like to support those teams when they were at the most fun. And they were so. I say West Virginia dog. It's one of those schools though is like, you kind of got to win with the dudes that. Right. Because they couldn't play.
If he doesn't go to Michigan, when they got to go over the mix. In the mix. Right. But see Noel Devon was one of those kids. It's like, oh, he's supposed to go somewhere else, but you know, he ended up kind of ended up in West Virginia. But like, they started to get really dynamic players that other schools wanted towards the end of the run there. They had just started to kind of get into that situation. And look, I'm a fuck your mind up real quick. Wow. Do they have Oliver Luxe number retired at West Virginia? I doubt it. I think Jerry Wesson. Oh no, dog. Hold on here. This number was retired in 2021. Who? Major Harris. Major Harris. 2021. So I saw him play. It was crazy that he was like searching for this. And you found it. What, I said, what did you go? What did you use? Joel's using Wikipedia. I always go. Google.com. Yeah. Number 77s retired for Bruce Bosley. 75 for Sam Huff. Oh, Chris. 33 for Hot Rod, Hunley. Wow. 21 for Ira Rogers. Hot Rod, Hunley is a smoky Johnson. I mean, he said he either was a racist or he was like one
of the first black people to ever play it. It's a hot Rod. That's right. It's one of the two. Which is, what is hot Rod, Hunley? The basketball player. Look at him. Oh, OK, let's see. I'm going to. I'm looking at him. Oh, man. Racity is hot Rod dog. I don't know. He's got a game. He looked like he is a nice guy. Yeah, yeah. Hot Rod at game. That's beautiful, man. He's from Charleston. He went to school there. He was a trash for me. He was like, you play where you're from. You want to retract what you just said a minute? Yeah. Say something nice about Hot Rod. Don't say that about Hot Rod. Don't say that he could have been a racist. No, no, no. Say something good. Like, man, I'm not a legend. Yeah, man. He was the first round pick, bro. Yeah, there you go. That's something. Yeah. He's the first number one. Jappy. Oh, he was real. He's the overall. He's the first round first pick, Hot Rod. Hunley, motherfucker. OK, man. That's a classic trivia. You know, you're going to trivia. Now you're going to have that in your back. And we had a rough upbringing, bro. His parents divorced when he was young after his father abandoned his teenage mother shortly after Hunley was born. He was sent to live with various relatives and friends in Charleston. It was placed in foster homes where he was abused
and neglected. Let me tell you something. Hot Rod, Hunley could have became a crypt. That's not what he did. Hot Rod, Hunley became a crypt. He turned himself into something. He turned himself into something. By the way, shout out to my crypt. Because y'all turn y'all selves into something. That's what my crypt was. That nigga really got the hood, bro. Like, he had a lot of people talking. When people talk about aggr on the bottom. I'm from the bottom. You talking about hot Rod, huh? I'm talking about hot Rod. If I was a Republican and somebody was complaining to me about how bad they had it, I might be like, you didn't have it as bad. You don't know hot Rod. You don't know hot Rod. The coal miners motherfucking hot Rod. He must have heard of hot Rod. I mean, the thing that came to me. The thing that caught my attention was this, actually. It was like, he was finally placed with a kindly old couple living with them until he was 16, though his bedroom was a closet under the stairs and their small home. Like Harry Potter. This is the last one in high school, hardly lived alone in a cheap hotel. I saw I was like, bro, I was like, I'm a damn sure.
And you call them a racist. Yeah. If he was, I mean, I could kind of understand. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, it's like, I'm the fact that they haven't made a movie yet. About hot. Okay, look, should we make it? We should make the hot rod, huh, the movie, bro. It's tough because hot rod already came out, like, you know, any San Bernard, but I mean, we can figure out that one thing catch on. Why do they call them hot rod? Oh, shit. Yeah, he had also been in talks. He passed away in 2015. Okay. He had also been in talks for a movie that was showcased his early childhood and basketball. Greg, he's the subject of the hot rod documentary, the untold story of hot rod, huh? Who would, who would we get to play hot rod? That's the real question. Who hot rod, huh? Yeah, who would play? Like, Shalameh. Shalameh. Well, Shalameh's fucking five foot three, though. Yeah. We have to shoot a low angle. You got to get Jacob and Lordy to play hot rod. Oh, yeah, that'd be good. Man, I got to see, I got to see that documentary, bro. Yeah, we're going to have to watch that. Hot rod, 100. Some more quick hitters I want to hit.
James Wrangling, first game for Virginia Tech and the inner San Man was incredible. If you didn't see the video, go check that out. Always a good tradition in college football. And also Virginia Tech 73 points in this game against VMI. I mean, they looked really good. I mean, obviously it's VMI. But again, first game, James Wrangling made a statement. Little like Virginia Tech fans are falling in. It went the way you want because on the other hand, your debut game at home could be against West Michigan. Right, Mr. Lee. You know, he wouldn't help. Yeah, so yeah, not only we know that that is a possibility. Congratulations. UCLA just takes a lead, by the way. Okay. Okay. Oh, look at all the boys doing shit. Hot rod went back to college to graduate 43 years after leaving his alma mater. Wow. Well, legend. Yeah, raise a roof. Yeah. He might be my new favorite player. So it was like, who's your favorite player? I like all right, huh? Love his game. Shout out to Blacksburg. I was happy to see that atmosphere back. I wanted to be good again. So that was fun. Another one, as far as like point now guys and moments, Faeson Brandon for Tennessee. 226 past year. 68 rush yards.
Five total touchdowns. First SEC player with three passing touchdowns. Two rushing touchdowns. And it's first start since our guy, Gator, Cam Newton. Cam. Wow. Faeson Brandon. Faeson Brandon. I mean, again, the, the, the Alabama Tennessee are doing the other thing. They're doing it old school style. We're going to turn it over to this very talented young freshman and see if we can grow with him. We can build a program around them. So there's some benefits of that. And you can see, we haven't talked about Texas. We haven't, we haven't, we haven't talked about you know, I don't like who are de constant in the chat. Oh, what happened? Our de constant in the chat is a mile content. He's like, I'm shocked. We're talking about hot rod. Like he's a nobody. Y'all don't recognize him. Wasn't he a bro. No, we didn't know how right. We knew how right. You knew how right. Yeah. I mean, I heard the name of the truth. But I didn't know I, I, I, I was a hot rod expert all of a sudden. Yeah. I didn't know hot rod, honey, bro. But shout out. I did not know that one for real. But shout out to hot rod, honey, man. Yeah.
Yeah. As much of a college basketball guys, you are and he was born in 1934. So, But you've been to your members of watching this game. Yeah. But I mean, I've heard the name hot rod, honey, because it's not a funny name until today. But today, I was like, honestly, it's always like the second because Jerry what, when you think of Weston, you basketball, go J West and then like he's you know, don't forget about a hot rod. That's crazy. Another name, another guy to point out in our quick hiters Mason, the Heinsel, for Pittsburgh, seven touchdowns. That's how to pit football record. Damorino obviously played it, Pitt. So did Kenny Pickett. But he's the first ACZ quarterback since at least 95 with four and 50 passing yards and seven plus TDs. So raise the root. Right? Yeah. I mean, last time you heard Pittsburgh putting up some offense like that. That's crazy. That's good to see, man. I think Pittsburgh's always a little underrated when it comes down to it. Some more quick hitters. We mentioned Rutgers losing that game, but wanted to give you massive love. I mean, this is the team that was in the doldrums. Maybe they lost the last 16 games. Yeah. I mean, but I mean, of course, it's fantastic that you mass one.
They've been down in the day for three. Hey, who's got the controller? The thing? Jeff? Who controls it? Jeff? Block R.D. Constant. What? What is your plan? Block the chat. Block R.D. Constant. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. I'm fucking. He goes. He's upset about. He's upset about. He's upset about. He's actually. No, don't block him. Seriously, he's actually what I will tell you that I did. Shout out to my man, Connor, over a power hour LSU. I used to watch him after the LSU name. Yeah, you love the Tigers. And he, he would, LSU took a bad loss. And people were in the, what? Our account just said goodbye to R.D. Constant. Don't block him. Don't block him. They just spent it for a guy to work on. Don't block him. I'm not. No, block him. No, block him. No, block him. I see people that like sometimes Alabama will beat you or Ford or beat you and then they coming there. Am I man?
I see him. He's like in a car. I'm not. I'll see you. I like it. All right, a few more things. Tennessee, past tribute to Dali Parton. Singing, I will always love you. That was a nice moment. I'm just talking about Tennessee with Faeson Brandon. That was good. And then as far as like the LSU of it all, I had all this stuff with Declan Wright and Xavier and Harris. But we're past that. We're on the football. All right, some more stuff. Counterplay, Zag of the day. Anything that happened, I'll give you mine first. Josh Hoover, the bloody nose. I know a lot of people were saying that was like a rough hit. His team should have got upset. I thought it was a great kind of moment for him to kind of lock into the gritty nature of Kurt Zignetti playing with the bloody nose. Got some great screen caps today. So Josh Hoover, that's my Zag of the day. A little counterplay. I like the bloody nose. Oh, you like the bloody nose. I like the bloody nose. I think it looked good. I thought it was like old school football. It seems like it went along with the Zignetti brand of football. To me, it felt like an initiation of like welcome to SIG football. Yeah, I mean, you look man.
That's your guy, by the way. Look, man, and people say what? SIG football. SIG, the Zignetti. You don't like SIG. You don't like SIG. I got to take a drink. You don't like SIG football. I don't like the way that I'm ready. SIG football. I don't like I don't like I don't like I don't like. I like SIG, man. I like I like SIG football. Yeah, man. All right, you fine? You fine? Right. No, but I like the bloody nose. I'm glad it didn't clean up, you know, that was good. Yeah, good for you, man. Oh, I'll be my fan. Do your segment. Oh, no, we're just okay real quick about Hoover. I know there are a lot of TC fans that are bitter about Josh Hoover, Leven, and they're like, they need to be mad, about it, whatever. And I'm like, no, I'm happy for them. I'm excited. I'm excited because it was really kind of telling that he said he wanted to develop more under credit. And he's been a TCU for three years, though. But you know, but he felt like he's not damning this any day. It is sort of down. But he was like, there's more to me that I need to explore. And he's going to get to compete.
And the atmosphere and blooming some look great today, even though it's hot as shit down there. He's in the big 10. Yeah. That's for one. See, he's in the big 10. Yeah, he is. He moved. No, he went to the national champion. He went to the national champion. Just again, you could have gone to Purdue. No, he went to, no, no, no, no, no, just Purdue, but he went to Indiana. He didn't just go to the big 10. Well, he didn't go to the big 10. Or be like going to Georgia and the SEC. So why you went to the, yes. Right. But he did as a recent, he did in ship vintage. He did go to the, I mean, there were some reports that he heard about the monster deal. He was like, I gotta get out. I can't get out of here. How was that? It's I can't wear that. Energy. Let me, let me go ahead. So the thing about Oregon, my Zag of the Day is I think Oregon's game with boys to stay as good for. It's like, I think if you're doing landing, that's one of those things. You say, oh, I would take away, they don't look like a title team. So you're Zagging off that and say, you actually thought it was good. I think, yeah, I didn't think, you wouldn't feel great about them today, but you'd say, oh, okay. Like we escaped.
That's the most important thing. We got punched in our mouth. We still have a lot of talent. And we stuck through it and pull it out of me. So, you know, maybe, you know, that's, it's just one of those things can be galvanizing thing at the end of the year. It's like, okay, like we saw where we needed to do. Got in the Tussle. Yeah, we found out why we got tested by a good team and didn't suffer for it. Because sometimes you play that game, like, you know, Michigan basically almost did. Yeah. You play that game and then it's, you go, you know, you know, blue is a good team too. Yeah, that's the thing, man. So for Dan landing in Oregon, I feel like that's pretty good. I, that's my choices, like the most talented team, probably the number one team. And so for them to, you know, come out there, I feel good about them. I'm like, all right. Look, we've let's go on one game, beat boys, you stay in this game. So you're spinning in positive. You, you famously said they were the best team in the country. Oh, yes, I think, meanwhile, a lot of the other top 10 teams blew out teams, but they didn't play boys in state. So I didn't play a team in a program with this history of structure. Yeah, it's coaching. Should be one of the best teams in the back 12.
Yeah, boys in state goes into Austin and that's like, oh, we play that, you know, right? That's like, you know, a regional. Look at it, I remember that game very, very well. But my, my, Zach is that I think Notre Dame, we're going to see the best team in college football right now, play tomorrow. Yeah, okay. You're going to put a lot of pressure on them, man. Like, we're going to see the best team in college football play tomorrow. Damn. We've seen all the teams, and even the teams that are dominant, like I think show weaknesses that can be exploited. I think Notre Dame is going to show that they are probably right now. And maybe I could be wrong, but this is my Zags, by this is Zach. You're Zach. Like I believe that Notre Dame is going to show that right now at this point, they're the best, they're the best team in college football. Speaking of Notre Dame, let's just look at those games tomorrow, because if you're not keeping up with college football, there are three great games tomorrow. We got the Apple Cup to open up today on NBC, Wazoo versus Washington in Seattle, Wisconsin, Notre Dame in Lambo field. That'll be a fun game. And then Louisville Ole Miss at the end of the night in Nashville. So those are three great games, Joel, of those three games, which one you most excited about.
Oh, man, Louisville Ole Miss, because we're going to really find out what would be the best game of the weekend. Again, Ole Miss, one of those top 10 teams, you know, they have a lot of potential, but the thing is they've got a great base. They've got Trinity that Chandler's key one, Lacey and maybe the best quarterback can run back, combo in the country. And then they got a whole bunch of new faces, man. And so you want it, you know, we're going to find out what else they've got. And Louisville is one of those times you test yourself like that. You might, they could fuck around and lose. Like Louisville can beat them. So, Trinity that Chandler's, and his march to the Heisman. What if tomorrow we see the best team, Notre Dame, and the best player in the world. And the best player in the world. Yeah, Trinity that Chandler's. For Ole Miss, Ole Miss who is a team, is a very quality football team, right? Yeah. I don't know how many people are saying that Ole Miss has an opportunity to, like, not an opportunity. The Ole Miss is a legitimate national champion to continue this year. Maybe they are. Maybe they are. How important is it for Trinity that Chandler's, for Ole Miss football to get to New York, win the Hyzen trophies,
salvage themselves as the best player. I'll tell you why I'm saying this. Because Ole Miss had kind of changed the story on them in college football, right? Yeah. They were a team that would have some up years. Some years you look at Ole Miss and you'd be like, look at all of the talent and stuff like that. And they'd be scary teams and they were quality programs. The Quantredwell, my DJ. Can DJ Ole Miss out in Eli Manning? Whoever you want to talk about, like, what was my man from the Saints? I just do some callister. Yeah. Like, they've had players, right? They've had players. Big receivers, all this stuff. It seemed as if with the run that they made last year and with the top, yeah, they did run with it. With the run that they made last year and the way that they had been playing and during the time that Lane was there, that they had kind of changed what people thought about them. You expect the quality football and they must maintain that. And having a good season will be one thing, but having a Hyzen trophy winner or a guy that goes to New York and still signals that your football team is playing at a nearly level. And it feels like even if they were not to win the SEC
or were not to make a deep playoff run that having that type of prestige at the university would still be very meaningful. Yeah, well, we could find out it's like, oh, that playoff run was real. You're right. It was just being gold run. It wasn't just landing in the bottle. Yeah, right. Exactly. So that was a real thing that happened here and we're here to stay. People calling for Pablo to do an expose on your shirt. What? They won't Pablo do that. This is what you get when you try to do shit, man. Someone asked him if it was pajamas and other person abscond made of wool. You know, there's a lot of people. I think it's a nice shirt. I like it. I think it's like Teflon or something. It's not touch. Yeah, it's a nice little bit, little bit, little bit, little bit. Yeah, it's thick material. How do we decide who gets that shirt after this broadcast? Oh, yeah. I think we should give it to Ardie. We should give it to Ardie. I had to. I put down Ardie. I should give it to Ardie. Yeah, you gotta talk to Jenaia about that. But if we give it to Ardie, you gotta wear it. Yeah, you gotta wear it. It's a photo in there. I think I'm playing volleyball, Doc. Oh, I bet he's dirty at volleyball.
He just had a 33 hour cut. Oh. This thing is going crazy, bro. This is actually more impressive than watching the play football. Yeah, it is. It's crazy how good they are at volleyball. I would have never guessed that Polly had a volleyball team. I know California is different, but California loves volleyball. Yeah, and I meant, you know, my Jenaia's cousin, the wife's, she had a cousin who was on a surfing team in high school. Yeah, yeah. I was like, San Clemente has like three other tops. 10 servers in the world. San Clemente. Yeah, California. What if we shred your shirt and put it in like trading cards? I'm not like you like little pieces of it. Yeah, I'm not. I'm not. Also, I figured that out. Ardie, constant is the number one. The best part is when we did this last year. So do your G5, too, is number two. We did our, we did this last year our first livestream. And Joel was the number one commentator. Yeah, I remember that. Remember that? And he was so. It's hard. I can't keep talking to himself. I'm back to interacting with home. I'm not going to go back home. Yeah, and I'll just be in my room. Because we can see that you're not focused in.
Did you want to clear a while you're leaning for Crips earlier or no? Yeah, people are at home. I didn't say it like that, but you got to be in real. 38-3 LSU. 33 LSU? Damn, babble. Hey, I'm gonna be real. I'm gonna be real. A lot of people thought that LSU might win this game big. I don't know if anyone was thinking that it was going to be. I did not think it would be this bad. Oh, I mean. I thought that Clemson kind of had a nice lead into this game. I thought it could go. I thought the two options where Clemson pulls off an upset over a distracted sloppy LSU team. Or that first interception. Or that first interception. Or that first interception. That first interception. If you just stop right there in time and you're like, how's this game going to go? I'm like, it feels like LSU is going to struggle and Clemson might upset them. Well, my thought was not. And the opposite happened. We would see Chris Pazina if he was like, OK, he's actually good. And there's a reason they stuck with him and didn't go on the portal. And that's all great. But it's like, oh, no, that's not what happened. We just found out, oh, no, they're really bad all over the place. And I mean, I'm sure LSU is a playoff contender this year. But that's not what Clemson's gotten used to over the last 20 years, man.
Can't say something though. What a lot of LSU fans are talking about right now. I think this is something that reverberates around college football. Is what a team looks like when a coach has a clear vision and an office of philosophy. Like you see LSU playing crazy on defense. You see everybody bought in and believing. And that's just very important in your program. If you don't have that, then you're not going to play any lead up. Yeah. I mean, the thing is, man, for all the theatrics, for all the bullshit, man, Lane Kippin has been the best coach in the history of Florida Atlantic. And the best coach since desegregation at Ole Miss. You know what I mean? Was it Johnny Vaught? That was the old coach at Ole Miss when the segregated era. It's like, yeah, right? It's Vaught? Yeah, I think so. So anyway, but Lane Kippin has been the best coach there in modern history. So he's a damn good coach, man. And so you were reminded of that the night, but also maybe it's like, is Clemson that much worse than we think? Like, are we looking at a four-win team?
Or is it, you know? I think part of this is LSU coming out and executing the way that's supposed to. And part of it is just like, Clemson seems bereft, bro. Like, seriously, they haven't threatened it. Very much at all. They seem pretty good. And the thing about all the talent that they lost from last year's team, I mean, eight players going to the draft. It's hard to replenish that. I know they offered him probably more money, but I've been really got to anyway. I know that. He's a good coach, Golding. I'm actually ready to go. That was actually a nice moment when... You can still get the Rockefeller deal. Deal. He was still getting the deal. I don't know. Joel was trying to go to a Rockefeller party, a rock nation party. You were all trying to go. You were all trying to go. He was all trying to go. I don't know right now where we're at. Rock Nation is not too far from here. And we can see people lining up for a rock nation party. Joel wanted to go, oh, speaking of that, we saw something really interesting down there.
We saw, and I want the chat, I want the chat's opinion on this. Already constant, I hope you're ready. I seriously doubt that there are any women in this chat. Right. We got 751 people. That's the thing, right? You got. Or maybe the season share the chat, share it around. Yeah, share it. We want to get these numbers up to. We're live every Saturday. And we're going to remind people more in the weeks to come. I feel like we just kind of, you know, also. Right, right, right. Also, we're day with the weather delay. That's right, yeah. We're not making any excuses. We need to be breaking the down. Also, we've been doing it all the different times like last year, but it's... So look, bust this. So we're looking out the window. So that's a woman. Where's the woman at? She said, man, I want a woman. Okay, in color. In color. In color. In color. In color. In color. In color. In color. Okay, this is for you. You are a woman. Okay. We are watching. I'll raise the roof. Raise the roof. Raise the roof. Yeah. For one woman. Yeah.
Yeah. We are watching out the window, something happened. We're watching a guy earlier today walk up to a woman's two women, two women's cars and try to talk to them, right? He was out of the... He was out of the town. Let's just be real. We had seen these women in the car walk up the street to one of the coffee shops. Yeah. And we see why he was trying to talk to them. Okay, it was clear. It was clear why he was trying to talk to them. Careful, too. It was clear. We had seen these women, especially the walk itself was a great reason to try to see what was up. Okay. Now, while he was talking to them through the window, there was a bug that was out there, a big bug, so big of a bug that we are looking down from the window out of the office. And we can see the bug. Yeah, it was crazy. Yeah. And we talked to him, he starts running from the bug.
He starts getting... He shadow box in the bug. He shadow box in the bug. The bug, he's like, ah! My question to the women is... To the woman. The woman to the woman to the woman. My question is, if a dude was trying to talk to you and a bug came over while he was trying to talk to you and he starts running from the bug after like he fixed get to the bug, would that... The eternal. Turn you off. That's what I was about to say more crash in that. But would that turn you off? Like would that be something that like you go all... The men's student is a woman. She's in here too, dark. Okay. So we got women in here. That's who in here. Right. So what... Somebody said, that's funny. I'm not gonna repeat that joke already, concept, but that's funny. Like, I'm not gonna be constantly. Audi constantly. That was funny. They want you back. They want you back. Yeah, they want you back. By the way, UCLA, yeah. I'm gonna put it in the work right now. The twinkle man. The twinkle man. 21 to 10. Okay, so tell us, so everybody keeps saying that there's a woman,
does that give the ik, I'm asking. And we ask Kalika who came in and she said, he does give the ik, and we're one vote in that it does give the ik, and we all discuss that like when there are insects in the home, it is kind of on our shoulders. Oh, absolutely. To take care of the insect. Yeah, absolutely. So if you don't have that ability on the front end, we see it's different. It's different when you got to kill a bug in your house as opposed to that. But man, dude, that that that was a while. I mean, he was, he had to move, man. I can understand it. And if that girl, it was you, man, she, she didn't like you because of that. I mean, whatever, you know what I'm saying? She said, so M. Colour 3041 said, kind of icky, but hilarious. So she would laugh. I'm gonna see he could make it funny. He didn't make it funny though. He, he, he actually was taking it out of it. I think he handed his phone to them inside the car then went running away from the bug and had to walk back to get the phone from them. That's an egg. And then I mean, dude, you know, you get credit for killing it? You didn't kill it. He killed the bug in the middle. That's why what is football?
Oh, man, he pulled that bitch off. Using another object though, if that doesn't count. What? No, man, you gotta just get it out of there. What are you talking about? Could have been smoother. Now he's got a dead bug. What are you supposed to, what was he supposed to use? So, so with what? You know, use your hands. Kai, the man's student says, yes, it depends if he's flailing more than me. He was flailing. So, so, so, so. You were, you were flailing. You made a pop master said, do you just sit there and take the bike? Yeah. That's what Joe said. Joe said you should take the bike. No, you didn't. I said, no, you shouldn't take the bike. You gotta, no, I was, I was, I was sympathized with that guy because I would have been him. Because that's why I'm that person in my family. Everybody be like, Joe said, they left me because I'm running from a wash floor, a B, but I don't want to get stuck. There's a lot going on. It's also a little kid that was abandoned down the street at the same time fighting couple. It could have been a live stream where we just had it on the street right there and it would have gotten, you know, I was so worried for that little girl, man. She could, she looked like she was about to sign my daughter and I was like, man, somebody come down here and get that baby.
You said you were going to go down and get that baby. I was, man, that little white baby, man. She looked like hot rod out there. We had to tell you don't go down too soon. Yeah, right. It was a piece. I mean, I was worried about it. You know what I'm saying? She was what? She said she was Cuban. No, I said it was too soon on the hot rod, Joe. Oh, she said, oh, boom. I think she was a Latina baby. That's why I was saying, yeah. Well, she had her parents there, but they were fighting. They were fighting. They were, they were in. They were in. Yeah, yeah. What's Hollywood? Yeah, they were. They were not that. You're not that bad. You're not that bad, Joe. Yeah. Good for them. All right. This game is happening, Twinkle Ball. Feels like the LSU game is out of sorts. We'll break down. 383. Yeah, we'll break that down at some point as to what to do with Davo. But just any parting shots that we have, you know, after the first Saturday of the season, again, we too should be great. We'll get Ohio State, Texas, which is going to be a great matchup. We're going to have week three, which is laying going back to Ole Miss. So it is a little bit like usually week two, week three aren't so great, but this season, they're both got really heavy games there.
I am so fascinated to see what Michigan looks like. I guess I'll go home and then. I'm so happy. I can't wait. Well, I don't know if it's going to be a great game, but a great game. I'm simply with intense plays. Look, Chess ain't getting the Kurt Signetti treatment on this graphic right now. Wow. You guys, I just want to let you know that, you know, we are twinkle believers here, but if UCLA is too good this season, it's going to be a nightmare dealing with centers. Yeah, Bill's going to love it. It's just going to be a nightmare. It'd be great for our show, though. It would be phenomenal for our show, but it's just going to be a nightmare with Bill acting like he's got Paul Feinbaum. He's got Paul Fass, which is going to be crazy. Yeah, Paul Feinbaum doing Paul Fein bro on the streets. I saw that, man. Everybody got to talk to you. You need to talk to your guy. Everybody got to be pet mac. He need to reach out to him. Just tell him you're watching. Tell him to call me out. You know what? I was so disentersized. I didn't even click on the video, but I sent a yacht, LOL didn't even look at the whole. What? I didn't watch the video. I don't know.
I just didn't look interested in the movie. Did you not consume what we send you? That clip didn't seem interesting to me. Should I do something right now? Yeah, yeah. I'm going to go to the Clemson message board. Yeah, I want to see what they say. I'll go to the Clemson message board. I definitely want to see that. And see which Clemson message. So this is tigernet.com. This is discussing all things that are Clemson football. So these are the top things that they're saying. 2000 Alabama gang 2.0. Obviously, Vinnables was the secret. Pathetic fans, this is not dabble's fault. We look so unethical and poorly prepared. Is dabble the worst first game coach? One first down in the front and the first half. Does dabble even care to win anymore? Or just stick to his my way will work? That is an interesting post from them. Because that shows that the fan base no longer believes that dabble is as invested as he shouldn't be. Why would you? I mean, well, I would you. He wouldn't even do it when it took the win. Like, if the thing is, if you don't want to do the portal thing and do it in IEL, I totally understand.
A lot of coaches left. But that's what you got to do. You got to leave. Yeah. But if you're going to do the job, you're supposed to do it. Right. And it made basically one of the be kind of like Lane Kiffin. It's like, man, I can get you in over here to LSU. Now it feels like he's doing it like because he kind of has to. There are three posts that really peak my interest here. OK, here we go. One is, I hate to see dabble go out like this. Go out like this. Go out. Yeah, damn. So you guys is making me wrong. The fan base is anticipating and almost expecting the end of dabble's reign. There's another one. The softest Climbs and football team in my life. Wow. They we watched them get brutalized and get the ball ran down there through when LSU could not find a passing office. And then the third one is dabble is Bobby Boughtoning our program. And if you don't know what that means, that means staying on too long, like holding on too much to the way you did things and letting college football back. Back it, back it, back it, back it.
Do you know how much Grambling wanted to get rid of Eddie Robinson at the end? It is actually a documentary I've always wanted. Really? Yeah. Man, it was like a one of those things. Like, man, you can't get rid of no, I had to edit Robin Senpeter's like, dark. Do you want to win football again or what, dark? And at the beginning of the last year, Joe Pond. It's not the same thing. But Mike Gundy is the best coach in Oklahoma State history. Yeah. And you would have never thought that he would have had to get fired. But eventually they were out there looking at that product and just like, I don't. I mean, why would you spend money on that if you're a booster? And then that's when the real problem started. And he's also that buy gun era, you know? We were like, it worked when it worked. And now it's totally different. No, this something else, bro. The interesting thing about the Eddie Robinson thing is the guy who comes along was almost the only guy that the fan base, like because it was the Williams. So it was almost the only guy that the fan base could come to terms. Good, except. Yeah, it could, like, could accept. But in this situation, looking them not watching the Climbs and Fan Bays not be pissed off about this game, but watching them sort of in mourning says a lot
about how they view the coach and what this loss will mean to them. Oh, sweet. If there are too many of these like this, I actually tend to believe with you guys that they'll make a move. Yeah. And think about how pretty they have a game on the schedule, by the way, like if Bill Bell check in North Carolina goes down to Clemson and beats them, they'll be gone. Think about how prickly Debo is. And like, you know, things are like kind of bad. And just, you know, mediocre and not great like they were. But he just added it because the team is of the crowd a bit used to be. Imagine how it would be having to face these questions for the next week, like about how bad this team was. You know, how uncompetitive they are. You know, you thought you he's going to end up bringing up the Red Sea. I know that he was joking, but he called those guys nobody. I think that's the beginning of the year. Yeah. Yeah, we are turning these nobody's into somebody. I was like, well, he said there's no starters on this team. Like you made it seem like they were changing the philosophy, but obviously the result is not so great. I probably I'm just trying to get motivate the guys. And this is going to be our thing. We're going to become somebody over a course of year. But whoo.
I mean, they might be more fucking beat. Yeah, this is a beat down. And again, we got a good game going on right now. The Twinkle Bowl UCLA cow. That's good news so far for Bob Chesney. Look, I because I don't want to be a kid. Texas look good today, man. Texas look really good today. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Ryan Wingo, I mean, Ryan Wingo, I think Wingo is a good star. I mean, we're talking about Cam Cole. We're Wingo looking like a legit, like one B receiver for the game. I saw a run by Hollywood Smothers early game. I was like, see, that's why you make trea wise and ago. You know, you watch them last year shout out to the Dodgers, Rolls, Razoroo for the Dodgers who won tonight. Like Hollywood Smothers, we watched them raise the roof. You raise the roof. Like shout out to Hollywood Smothers. We watched them last year and we knew each other. Yeah. You know, we love to see it. Billy, any last parting shots for the people? Nah, I'm just glad we're back. Me too. It's great to be in person. Great to be back for college football season. Obviously we survived week zero, week one, heating up great games tomorrow.
We will be back on Wednesday. We'll be breaking down all of these games Monday night as well. FSU SMU. That's another game where we can be talking about a coach like Davo and Mike Norvel. So that's something that's going to happen on Wednesday as well. We got Jordan Rogers in studio breaking down the Hail Mary right now. That would blow up. That would blow up. Yeah. That is right. That is kind of what it is. Yeah. Davos fighting the bug right now and the bug is winning. And, uh, yeah, I mean, this is a cold dot. We're not going to be together again. I'm tough for a few weeks, I guess. Right? Well, we got some good plans. Joel will be back. Billy will be back. Hopefully. Just a man dog being out in the Cali dog. We going up to dinner after this. Right? Yeah, we're going to dinner. Yeah. I'm going to tell you guys what we're going to dinner because some of y'all in LA after two right now. They're all coming out with us. Oh, they got you think they're coming down to. Joel, we're taking Joel to the rock nation party first. We're dropping him off. Give him a little sprinkle of the rock nation experience. And then we're going to go to dinner. I appreciate. We appreciate everybody tuning in. This is bring your tailgate. We're live every single Saturday. Come hang out with us. We are locked in for the rest of the season. Enjoy the games.
Cow UCLA LSU. Shout out to you. Shout out to you. What about my sweat of dog? What? It did. 44 to three LSU. My goodness. Well, there you have it. You don't need this thing. I got anymore when that's already over. This game will be fun to watch UCLA looking great right now. Shout out to Bob Chesney. He's the founder of the program. He's a gator. And we appreciate all the gators out there hanging out with us. And we will see you all on Wednesday.
