He says he bought multiple lines at a T-Mobile store in June 2024. A sales rep assured him of $400 total in cards, but a supervisor later denied the offer existed and refused to provide them. Many other California customers report similar run-arounds after signing up for service based on these incentives. The lawsuit highlights how these practices misled people into switching carriers or adding lines. Gravity aims to represent all affected state residents who missed out on promise financial perks for new lines or devices.
