The 6-foot 9-255-pound big man brings real size and skills to the orange front court after a strong sophomore year where he averaged 10.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. He earned Sun Belt defensive player of the year, honors that season, showing his rim protection chops. As a red shirt sophomore, Wilson sat out the 2023-2024 campaign before logging 30 games this year with 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds for App State. Coming out of Augusta Christian in Georgia, he chose the mountaineers over schools like Georgia Southern and Jacksonville State. Now rated a three-star prospect in the transfer portal by 247 sports, he's stepping up his game at a bigger stage. Wilson slots right into Syracuse's center rotation alongside Siena transfer, Tasman Goodrick and freshman Abdurmani Sibi for Mali beefing up what could be a dominant group inside.
