Commuters are adapting by driving less, with many saying they're cutting back on car use to stretch their budgets. But those who rely on driving for work, like taxi drivers, are hurting the most from the spike. Taxi operators are urging the state government to speed up its yearly review of meter rates to offset the higher fuel bills, that could ease costs for drivers and passengers alike.
