Swiss prosecutors are expanding their investigation into a deadly fire at a ski resort bar in Kran's Montana that killed 41 people, mostly. Teenagers, on January 1st, they've now added the town's mayor, Nicholas Farad, to the list of suspects facing possible charges of negligent homicide. The mayor, who's in his 50s, has admitted the local government skipped multiple required safety checks over the years. Prosecutors have summoned him for questioning on April 13th, and officials confirmed more people are now under scrutiny. Disdisaster, one of the worst in modern Swiss history, claims six lies from Italy and has put a strain on relations with its neighbor. Many young survivors remain hospitalized with serious burn injuries. The fire has shaken the popular ski and golf destination, which draws tourists from France, Italy and the United States, chilling its key tourism, business.
