Not only did you have the Black Beatles, but of course, they went platinum following up Shroom Life in 2016. And then, of course, in 2018, they put out Shroom Life, which is basically three. But, you know, they changed the E for three, you know, rappers nowadays. 2015 is originally, when they started the Shroom Life pattern. And of course, they, you know, everybody was, you know,

4:00had high praise for Ray Strimmer because of early hits, like No Flex Zone, No Type, and Come Getter, which achieved multi-platinum status. And of course, the duo crossed 55 million plus R.I. So, I will be listening to this album and breaking it down like a kilo of Miley Cyrus. But then, you know, I'm saying, I'm like, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on? But as of right now, all you need to know is that this album, this body of work, is currently 16 tracks, an hour, well, exactly an hour in length, Paul's. And of course, Slim Jimmy is on it, which, you know, it's Ray Strimmer. But, you know, for some reason, they just featured Slim Jimmy instead of just putting Ray Strimmer. But, hey. I'll take a Ray Strimmer. I'll take a Ray Strimmer offering whenever I can. Paul's. You guys. Post Malone is also on his album, which I was like, hold on now. Not the duo that made one of the most successful tracks of all time. You probably think of T. So. I know that ain't who I think it is. Of course, it was off of a Spiderman soundtrack. But, of course, when they animated Spiderman soundtrack came out,

6:00there was one particular track that originally shot up the charts. And that was Sunflower, ladies and gentlemen. And not only Sunflower was a magnificent hit in hip-hop, but overall, it crossed all genres. The highest certified single in R. Double Lot of Helm Trippin. And R.I. Double A. History. So, if you ever wonder why I put so much respect on Ray Strimmer's name, just know, Swaley, in all walks of music, has basically earned the respect that I'm giving. So, anyways, when it comes to him and totality, you do have to look at the overall lack of superstar-like sales. Because, of course, that is why, when covering the gaming and music industry, I always say, just because you sell a lot does not mean that you make the highest quality and just because you don't sell, it does not mean you're also making garbage. The two do not correlate. So, whenever I cover the charts, you don't always have to say that. But,

7:00Ray Strimmer, Swaley, is a fantastic example of that. Because, of course, when you look at Swaley specifically, Swaley, is putting out a maculant music. But, you know, when you look at the overall sales, I mean, Strimmer Life in 2015. So, 34,000. Strimmer Life in 2018. And so, I think, 57 to 61,000 equivalent units. So, they never just put up triple digit, you know, six figure digits as far as first week sales. And, is that an indication of the quality, of course, not? Bob just letting you know, that when it comes to numbers specifically, they're not selling, like, the superstars of the world, like, amigos or drape. And, I'm talking about back then. Megos, Drake, of course, Meek Mill at the time. I think a lot of people is putting a monument to numbers that, I want to disrespect them, but may have not been on the same quality level as Ray Strimmer. So, that's why I always go back to the point of, just because you sell a lot, that's not mean you make the highest quality of product.

8:01And, you know, that's coming from a Drake fan. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. So, with that being said, I did want to dive back into the album. As if you don't know, there's a lot of different features on here, I already listed out a couple, but you also have a Navarage. You have the Brown Boy, shout out to him. You have the Brown Boy on this album. You have Janai Aiko. But, you know, for Janai Aiko, fans out there, just know she is currently headlining or set the headline, the jazz and the gardens, a festival, from March 7 to 8 in Miami. She's a new album, Westside Wimsey, expected later, 2026. Westside Wimsey sells like a rap album. But, hey. Janai Aiko can do no wrong. Get my opinion. You know what I'm saying? Shepard. All right. My fault. Big Sean may still be, you know, anyways. With that being said, when you look at the rest of the features, you also have Postblown, already said that. So, Slim Jimmy, I said that. Rich the kid. Oh, fresh my kid. Oh, no, no. Then the fresh Montana said he didn't get paid for that. Shepard. I ain't trying to be messy. I'm just letting y'all know. Fresh Montana is the one that came out.

Swaley having post Malone, Swaley having the Slim Jimmy feature, like, of course, the J, Jenae echo, not to disrespect the other features, but he's probably like thinking terms of, okay, so he leaves trying to have another hit album, especially having some features that are already on the touristy effect in the masses. So here comes French again, with the track called suitcase. Now,

10:03of course, I don't know if it's going to be the same, like unforgettable. It'll be very hard to replicate that type of success. But hey, he's on there. So do have that with you will. So I can't wait to dive into this album. Of course, I have not listened to it yet. I just basically wanted to let you know it was out on all DSPs released under air drama records, which is, that's, that's a new one, a subsidiary of underscore records. But the subsidiaries is where people get a misconstrued, because when you look at the race from our album, it says era drama records, which is the subsidiary of inner scope records, which is also a subsidiary of UMG.
