You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like, okay, hold on. I got a new favorite food! That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Cupid Mayo. Yeah, it's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it at the grocery store. And this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Cupid only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers, chefs use it, restaurants use it, people who really care about flavor use it, put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand Cupid, the original Japanese mayonnaise. This is Ashley Akinetti from the Almost Hymnest Podcast. Up on the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman. The adventure is all Superman. When the planet krypton, home of a race of Superman, ex-holyman, who does, the whole survivor was an infant boy who had been stuck to earth and a sealed rocket. Today that boy grown to manhood is known as Superman, foreign enemy of the forces of evil. To aid him in his never-ending fight for truth and justice, he masquerades as part Kent, crime reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper. His secret is carefully guarded. No one is aware that Kent is Superman.

No one but you. Going with us now on ABC, as Superman faces the greatest problem of his entire career, the possible exposure of his double identity and an exciting transcribed adventure entitled Dead Men Tell No Tale. The horrible realization that one day someone will discover that Clark Kent mild mannered be spectacle crime reporter is in reality Superman. As hungover Superman said like the sword of democlease, where he realizes that once his duo role is exposed, he will no longer be able to work in secrecy. And now that day has come. Returning to his apartment late one night after covering a routine hold-up story at police headquarters, Clark Kent discusses that a secret pilot in his bedroom had been broken into and the spares Superman costume he kept hidden there had been stolen.

For a moment he was dead, then the full import of what had happened struck him like a savage blow. Whoever had stolen the costume, unless he was stupid beyond belief, was now aware that Clark Kent was Superman. For almost an hour Kent pace the floor unable to think it. There were six million people in the trouble and the sneak thief might be any one of them. Finally in desperation he called in his friend, the private detective Candy Myers. All right now Clark relax relax not the end of the world you know. That might be for me. Oh stop it no matter what the guy stole a campy dad's bed. I let's have it from the beginning. I told you I got back from headquarters at 11 o'clock. I walked into the bedroom and found the door of the closet open. Okay what was messing? Well that that's not important candy the important thing. The game is not important I got to know what the guy left it don't I? Well it's too me didn't take anything. Well then what's all of us?

We're still broke into my apartment. I look palsy. You're not pulling any wool over Candy Myers eyes in the first place it's a secret closet. In the second place nobody has a secret closet and leaves it empty. In the third place if the guy knew how to get it open without jimming the door, he must have had a pretty good idea of what was in it. No no he couldn't have no luck with it. So there was something in it. Yes well what? Give give what did he hide? Now candy believe me it doesn't matter all I want to do is get the seat. Is that all? Well you know what I mean I don't know what you mean but I sure know what you mean. You need a swammy with a crystal ball not a detective. Oh Candy please. I'll look pals you know as well as I just say whatever the guy's cookie is going to try and sell or hawk. The only way to put the finger on him is to check every fence and hawk shop in the study. Well then we can't throw that unless we know what we're looking for. Can't wait. But he won't try to sell or hawk this candy it has no value. Well then what do you all have to bother to buy? Well it has value to me.

In fact it's everything. Oh brother. Candy just do one thing for me. Well yes check the closet door for thinkapin. Have you got your dusting kit with you? Yeah I can't. Please Candy. Okay but you sure like that those things are hard work. And it's the only way in this case. I wish I could tell you more candy. I do me more brother you haven't told me anything. Well just for fun no Clark. It's like I didn't know what was in the closet. I mean if he wasn't happy. How did he get it open? Well accidentally I'm sure. He's on an electric spring and it unlocks when you pull out the top drawer of my desk. Well you sure went to a lot of trouble to hide something that doesn't have any value. Well then wait a minute. If what the guy took has no value why did he take it? I don't know. Can't you lie in your seat? There's no skin off my back. There's prints on the door or I'll get them. That's that palliare on your own. Hello. Yes this is Kent. Oh yes Malore.

Oh wait a minute let me just jot that down. Yeah that's 10 O O N A N. Right. Yes. Yes. I see. Well thanks a lot Malore. Right. Okay Kentie. Okay why? That was Malore at identification. They tabbed the print. Left in Unin, 21 arrests and three convictions in 1938. So what? Oh he can be picked up Kentie. Sure if the cops can find it. But if you think I'm going to get mixed up in a paper where you bring a guy in and you ask him, if you heist an unmeasurable thing out of Clark Kent's seat with closet, you're not on a loo. Oh you're home can't accept that one. You handle this thing anyway you want. Kentie I need your help. I can't call the police in on this. I want you to find Unin and bring him to me. Just like that huh. What would you do if you want to? Sure but where let's get you. Look all I need is five minutes with him alone in a room or alone anywhere. But your friend, hold it hold it. Hello.

Here's more. What? Let's have that again. Yes. Uh huh. At 10.25 eh? I see. No no no is it just a routine check? Yeah sure will. Right. Kentie. Yeah? The cop on this beat caught Unin sneaking out of the delivery entrance of this building at 10.25 tonight. Well that's does it. You don't need me anymore. Sweet throats pal. Kentie wait. He got away. Huh? He broke loose before the proud car showed up. The cop chased him, shot it him twice and swears he hit him. But he got away. Yes but if he's wounded he'll be easy to track down don't you think? Oh no this is a big city with a lot of people in it. If you want me to bring a man out try. Thanks, Kentie. Let's say no no no. That's right. I'll call you. Here's some water. No. No water. The flood went through his back. Slow down. It's in his belly water's there. I better go call a doctor then. Huh? It doesn't look so good.

No sense getting lost up with the sorbones of a Tomi nothing. So let him die? What do you mean let him? I didn't put this log in him. I didn't tell him to come crawling up here at one o'clock in the morning and fast out on my couch. He's gonna die on that couch so let's you get a doctor up here fast. So what? I'd always say him all these stupid creeps. Where do they come when they're in trouble? The next morality. The next morality. The next morality. The next morality. The next morality. The next morality. Sure. The next morality can fix anything. Not so bad. I'm all through sick and my neck out for these two. Come and tune in. Sure. I can't even croak quite. All right. Okay, let's see. What's water here? He's lit. Oh, guys. All right, give it to him. What's the difference? Come on, hold his head up. Hey, all right, let's see. Here's water.

Nice. Thanks a lot. Okay, boy. Land down, baby. Pick this blood in his mouth. Yeah. Who plugged you, let's see. Come. Do you want to hide, sir? Yeah. I wish I'd pay for bags. Don't get up lefty later. I'm gonna have them. I'd pay for bags. What's he talking about? We can't iron a paper bag. It's not no hair. Get it, thanks. Hey, I'm a normal. I ain't. I'm so perfect. Sure, but just pass away. Just don't move around, huh? Well, we cover up one with a pack of bag, miss. Is what you want, let's see. Yeah. What? What? What was it? See. What is it? It was kind of a fancy costume. No. Superman. What? Superman. Superman.

Yeah, that's right. Secret closet? Guy living there. Superman. I don't get it. If he means he found this in a secret closet? Yes. And whoever is living where he found it is Superman. Yes. He's crazy. No, no. Let's be Superman. Let it look like what Superman wears. Nick? Yeah, that's it. I'm at a level of this apartment. Five? He's 160. Family Street. Guy must be Superman. This is what you've heisted from his place? Yes. Secret closet. Hold on, drawer. Closet. Closet open. Wait, wait, wait. What is it? Oh, Superman. Who is it? Oh, Kenny. Let's have the address again, last thing. Sorry, wait a minute. 160. Family Street. But.

But. Yes. Five. Three. Okay. You. You're gonna cut me a neck. You. You. I've got you in. Nice neck. Always. No. Always. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Too bad. You gotta tell us more. You don't believe that stuff about Superman, do you? You can't tell. I can tell. You wanna prove it? Yes. Light a mess. What for? You wanna prove it, don't you? Go ahead. Light a mess. Okay. Yeah. Try to burn this stuff. Burn it? Yeah. Hope the match on you. Close.

Don't burn. Is he? Okay, I can see. Out. Light another one. This is no kind. Like I say, light a mess. He put it right up under the cloth. Back. Right up against it. I'm not here. What is it, Nick? That creep. He was right. This is Superman's outfit. It don't burn. Baby, this is dynamite. How are you gonna handle this, Nick? Forget me, Lance on the phone. He's gonna come up here with the boys and get this dead creep out of here. Then what? Then. Then, baby, we figure out how to just fly up this Superman character. So from now on, he works for only one guy. Nick Morale. Nick Morale. Right, baby. Nick Morale. Nick Morale. Nick Morale. Oh. Hello. Quick, get. Candy? Yeah. I was just doing that. Get wide awake. Listen, close. And go back this way. What? No bottom. I can't with any wacky tape. Is this? Did you find him, Candy? Yeah. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here. I'm not here.

I'm not here. I'm not here. Do we find him, Candy? Yeah, I find him. Where is he? I'll come right now. Relax, Calvin. He's on a slap in the morgue. Dead? No. He couldn't get out of the teller room. So they rented him a slap for the night. What do you mean, Dad? Maybe some work for it at all. Oh. OK, Candy. He was found for an empty lot on the south side of us two miles in your place. One of the cops sat in the back and it was as far as he could get. Well, that's that. Thank the million, Candy. Thanks for watching. You don't know what this is done for me. In fact, you'll never know. I guess not. Nothing else, can't. Okay, I think I'm in a thing, can't I? Sure. Well, should there be something? What about that something from the closet? What do you want to know whether the cops have recovered it? Did they? Hello, can't I? Hello! I'm still here. What are you getting all excited about? What did they candy? I should. I know. And I don't even know what it is. Did they recover anything? That's what he had in his pocket. That's a five-centred steel, Jimmy.

A 32-centred Westerner Reborn. No, no, not his pocket, candy. Was he... Was he carrying anything? Or anything. Well, like a coat or a super coat. A coat or a suit or a clothes, huh? Yes. Can't I'm coming up and having a talk with you? Stand by. Candy, if I've said it once, I've said it a dozen times. I can't tell you what noonin took from that closet I wish I could, but I can't. Now that's fine. Okay, pal, okay. Just one more thing I'd like to say. That is a little mind. Oh, give the stock as a candy. I've known you for five years. Brother, you have to accept the words right out of my mouth. Right out of my mouth. What's the word? He's known each other for five years. And all that time I've never seen you so jittery like that. Oh, nonsense. No nonsense. Something's happened to shut you to paste it. You need help, Clark, but you can't get it unless you will in the cooperate. And if I could forget the time of private tech, well, you're my friend and I'm trying to... Who's that at 3 o'clock in the morning?

I don't know. Hello. Is this department 5D at 6010, please? Yes. Who's this? This is the department. That's right. Who's calling? Who's the cat? Hold on. Who's calling? Well, something's still on from a closet near bedroom, can't you? I'm sorry, but I can't answer any questions unless I know who's calling. This is a friend. Can't it something was still on? I think I can get it back, please. If you're a friend, why won't you tell me your name? Name's still on there. If you want to get back what was still on, you better come to 45, come. Take the hurry and come along. Well, I can't get out right now. I'm waiting for some phone calls. Why don't you come here? Hold it a minute. All right, what can... She said she's got a rubber stone from the closet. Be careful. I am. Yes? Okay, we'll be down in 20 minutes. But make sure you're alone. I'll be alone. Okay, see you. Well, you'll be here in 20 minutes. Oh, brother, this is right up my alley.

Oh, no, can't eat. No, what? You'll have to go. I've got to see her alone. You're not so hiding a bedroom. No, alone means alone. All right, I give back some through. I'm finished. Remember this. I won't be able to help you when you've stretched out on a slab in a morgue like left-day known. We'll be back in a moment for part two and the exciting conclusion of... ...Ted Men tell no tales. That's the reaction. A lot of people are having when they first try QB Mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say it has a huge mistake. Because this Mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. QB only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Eggs sandwiches, fries, burgers, some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it.

And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere. Chefs use it. Restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it. Never try it. Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store. Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand. QB, the original Japanese mayonnaise. This is Ashley Akinetti from the Almost Hymnest Podcast. You ever notice you and your spouse keep saying, we need to get away. But you never actually plan anything. The number of victims was 42,000 of whom 60% were children under 10 years old. Thousands of those freaking youngsters are still sick, still under treatment, still in need of help. The help you can lend by giving to the March of Dimes. The National Foundation for Infant Outferralysis cares for everyone who needs it, carries out research, stands as the greatest single effective block against this dread disease. It needs your help, needs it more desperately than ever before. This is your responsibility. A responsibility best met by giving your dime and your dollar. Given the name of your child, give so that more children can return to their roles as young happy citizens.

Give and give again to combat polio. Keep those dimes and dollars rolling to your local March of Dimes headquarters. And now back to the adventures of Superman and part two of Dead Men's Hell No Tales. Unaware that the telephone call he received was from Nick Morelli's girl. And that both the girl and the racquetier are aware of his double identity. Dark Kent weeks nervously and impatiently for their arrival. But Candy Myers, suspicious of an attempted foul play, has not given up as he threatens to do. Although he left Kent's apartment, he is now waiting outside the entrance to the building. It is almost 3.30 in the morning, the street is dark and silent. Suddenly a car swings around the corner and pulls up a condom to build it. Candy Myers steps back into the shadow with our way.

I see anybody next to you. This is 160. This is it. I don't know the door. Oh yeah. No. Don't never step out of the dark like that again, son. They're unhealthy. I'm sorry, I haven't waited for you. Waiting for us? Yeah. I'm Clark Kent. Oh! I thought he was supposed to come up to the other part. That's what you said over the phone? Yeah, I know, but there was a fight so many might come in and you said I had to be alone. You got people coming in at 3.30 in the morning? Well, I was just saying Mike doesn't know if you just can't tell. You know what a game's next. So... Okay, you want to go over to my place? Just Mike. I see the guy that I get them can show in the police. Somebody asked you. Can I be faster than you can list? Okay, let's begin. That's cool.

It sounds like it makes so comfortable. Thanks. How about a little drink? Have a touch it. No? No thanks. Real athletic size, huh? It sounds amazing, don't it? You sure look different sitting there. Defensive and wise. Well, you're trying to kid. You get to be high and sort of baby, huh? Just because you don't drink. Don't mean I don't have to. Grasnago, what I had? Okay. You must be wondering where I fit into this, huh? Yeah. In a way. Well, there it is. I know the creep that busted into your apartment and cut something out of your closet. Hey, I need it. Thanks, Eddie. Better to fix it. I got for the high suit off you. Do you have? Yeah. Wanna get it back, don't you? You better go. Okay. What is it? Huh?

Here I have it. What is the creep cop out of your closet? If you got it, you know. That ain't what I asked. If you don't learn the cool guy. Shut up. Huh? What was it? It's like a cold or a suit of clothes. What kind of a suit of clothes? Give it a name. What do you mean? Give it a name. Get them front with the shade down there. You don't move, guys. What do you pull on my gun, Ami? Pull it. Find out quick. Okay, miss. Make the front door. Make sure it's locked. Okay. You and me are gonna find out something, can't you? Lock me. All right. Put the angle back. The angle is, I think, maybe this guy's a pony. I don't like the smell of it. What are you talking about? Get up. Come on, get up. Sure. I'll make with the talk. All you gotta do is listen. One thing Nick's motherly don't like is getting the double cross. He don't like it for nothing.

So if Nick's motherly thinks the guy is slipping in the finger, he's right away quick, take care of it, see? No, I'm doing that talking. Remember. Go ahead. Thanks. Sometimes maybe it happens Nick's motherly makes a mistake. It gives the business the wrong guy. The guy who ain't slipping in the middle finger. But with you, it's own matter. If you're the guy who's supposed to be, nothing is gonna happen. If you ain't, then you're trying to make a mistake. Then you're trying to slip my little finger and you gotta come in. Get swiss. I'm not allowed to talk. Oh, I'm so, say what you gotta say. All I gotta say is, I don't know why you pull a gun on me and I don't know what you shoot in your mouth about. Don't make them wrong so we'll find out quick, find out what. If you're the right guy, you're the wrong guy. I'm gonna toss a couple of 30-hits, look your way. If you're the right guy, you're okay. If you're the wrong guy, you're a dead person. There are dead pitches.

Caught in a blind trap unaware that Morelle is trying to determine whether or not he is Superman and demirors faces the steel black muzzle of a gangster's gun and almost certain death. Meanwhile in his apartment, Mark Kent, the plan says that is what for the tenth time. Five minutes to four. She calls the last of three and she said 20 minutes. Almost an hour. I'm not gonna wait any longer. 45 Carleton Street. I'll pay her a visit as Superman. Removing his horn rims glasses and stripping off his business suit the skies. Mark Kent immerses in the brilliant red and blue costume of Superman. Lacing a window, the only human being on earth who numbers among his amazing powers the power of light leaps out into the darkness. Covering for a timeless moment in mid-air, he gets his bearings and then like an arrow shot from a bow, feeds across the city and drops down on the sidewalk in front of a subtle house of 45 cars.

One glance in his X-ray vision shows in the scene inside the house. Great Scott. Tensing every muzzle with his powerful body, Superman crashes through one of the blinds drawn windows. And like a human projectile strike candy-mire, the black human comes out almost at the instant the gun and Nick Morelle's hands blast out. Come on, Maria. It's over then. Drop that gun. First, I gotta make sure. All right. Now I put up. That's better. Good on. We talk things over. I've got nothing to talk over with you, unless it's a matter of attempted murder. If I'd been a split-second lake, that bullet would have killed him. So why did he have to try to slip me to finger telling me he was Kent? Is that what he did? Sure, that's her. No, he was waiting downstairs where you live. What do you mean where I live? 160 cents. I know this, Scott. Your name is Clark Kent. You know too much. Good be. What's your name? Nick Morelle. And yours never mind her. Yeah. Maybe I do know too much. Only what I know pays off.

Does that I think so? Or am I the only one who knows? The stupid creep person into your joint, he's dead. So from here on in you two business with me. Nick Morelle. Is that so? Yeah. But I can't, if you don't, I'm gonna do what I'll talk and I'm gonna put you out of the soup. I'm gonna put you out of the Superman record but quick. What if I see two of the jacantos when they talking? You know dead men tell no tale. You ain't gonna knock us off that into your way. Right now I wish it were. Relax. Mr. Kent. But what you like for me to call you a Superman? You don't have to call me anything. Where's the costume that was stolen from my closet? Well, we'll talk to those. I'm not at any mood for talking to her, is it? You're laying in there and you're gonna get you nowhere. All right then, maybe this way. Where's your blanket, my off? Where's that cotton? Stop it, stop it! Where is it? I had stopped it! Wait, why? One answer to this. I've got to put both of you someplace where it won't matter how I'm talking to you. What are you gonna act like this? Or we can make it to you? I don't make it to you. Take the swear shooter. The shooter part, I'll accept. You've made your bed and I are gonna keep an eye on your coats on.

Your head is when I said get your coats on. Where we going? For a little ride to your new home. Now I'm warning you, this mountain top is 4,000 feet high and there's no way down. You're murdering us for free, so be it. I'll be back with everything you need, including a fight, you'll all. You won't freeze the star. What are you doing this for? I told you I was willing to forget it. I even told you what the fuck you're doing. You're telling me you're not worth much. I swear to the suck of Bible. That's worth less from you. Oh, this is how it's got to be. I feel like I'm thinking something else you two are gonna live up here. Please, please, please, please. You're getting a break. I remember, don't fight or escape. I'll be back. Steeping into the still darkened sky, a Superman hoppers insurious light above the mountain top, washing the tiny figures of the gangster and his girl, then just as he is about to turn and midair and head for Metropolis, he notices with horror that hand in hand, they are attempting to make their way down a steep slope.

A stupid fool! Arching his powerful body Superman prepares to swoop down after them, but he is too late. Loose sand and gravel rolls under their feet, and losing their balance they pitch forward headlong. Their body is striking a ledge and bouncing off like saw dust dummies, falling to the valley 4,000 feet below. Hello? This is Candy My. Candy, what happened to you? You sound terrible. Nothing to make you happen to a dog. Somebody hit me on the back of the head with a telephone call. Oh, crap. Oh, crap. Uh, last thing, Candy, I'm just clearing my throat. Unless you can't, I want to warn you. You're in trouble. I'm in trouble. Yeah, I'm in trouble. I'm in trouble, but I'm in a Moralea Scott, whatever it was, caught from your closet. Oh, don't worry about it, Candy. I got it back. You got it back? Yes, and Moralea and the girl are dead. They fell off a mountain.

Oh, that does it. I know why they had more brains than they got mixed up in it. They fell off a mountain. That's right. Sure, and I'm sick of tricy and you're a superman. That's right, Candy.
