Both run at the same speed and cost as the version from three weeks ago, but they're way smarter at reasoning. A legal software company called LaGora just used OpenAI's new GPT-6 Astra

OpenAI just announced it's giving away a billion dollars worth of AI tools to protect essential services like water systems, power grids, and local government networks. The program's called Daybreak for Frontline Defenders, and it'll give cyber defenders access to advanced AI that can find security weaknesses before hackers do. They're starting in the US and rolling it out globally over the next six months. That's important because experts say AI-powered cyber attacks are about to get way more common
