Submissiveness and Happiness

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands." Ephesians 5:22-24.

This one scripture can send many of women into a tail spin! Before you decide this episode is not for you, please keep reading. I am speaking on the topic of wives submitting to their husbands not only because I believe it is an important one, but also because I want to be clear about what being submissive and is not.

In this episode, I will be discussing my thoughts on two types of submissive wives and how although they are very similar, they have one BIG difference. God calls us as wives to submit to our husbands, He does not call us to be slaves. They are not the same thing. God calls husbands to love their wives as Christ's loves the church. That my friend, is a much taller order. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I enjoyed recording it.
