Student Stabbed Near University, Suspect Charged

A coroner's inquest has opened into the death of a 20-year-old student, stabbed near Demontford University campus, but it's been suspended while. Police continue their investigation. Khalid Oladebo, a second-year cyber security student, was attacked on Oxford Street in Lester on February 3rd around 5 p.m. He collapsed from his injuries and passed away shortly after in hospital. His family shared a heartfelt tribute, calling him a beloved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend who meant the world to them. They expressed deep sadness over his sudden loss. 18-year-old Harper Dennis from Lester has been charged with murder. His trial is scheduled for August 10th at Lester Crown Court. A post-mortem confirmed, Oladebo died from a stab wound to the chest, and authorities are still gathering evidence before the inquest resumes.
