Stirtz Invited to NBA Draft Combine

0:00On May 2nd, Bennett Sturts, the standout point guard from Iowa basketball, just got his invite to the 2026 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. From May 10th through 17th, after a killer senior year with the Hawkeyes, this 23-year-old is stepping up to the big leagues, joining 72 other top prospects, Nader Mwide. Sturts bounced around before landing at Iowa, hitting Northwest Missouri State and Drake first. Division 1 career averages 19.5 points, 5 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game shooting. Nearly 49 percent from the field, 37 percent from 3, and 82 percent at the line. Last season alone with Iowa, he dropped 19.8 points and 4.4 assists per game on solid 48 percent field goals, and 36 percent threes, turning heads across the big 10. He's not alone from the conference, though, with 14 other big 10 players invited, including three each from Michigan and Illinois, two from Wisconsin, and one a piece from Purdue
