Stock market volatility has lots of names.
Rollercoaster seesaw, whipsaw.
But for many investors,
since the US attacked Iran, the phrase,
stay the course.
Maybe the only one that matters.
You have to stay the course
during these crazy volatile times.
That's bonafide wealth,
Stugbone Parth on CNBC.
He notes that you might want to remember
what you were probably thinking last year
when the Trump tariffs were announced and stocks plunged,
or even when the pandemic shut down happened,
and stocks plunged.
If you go back in time to any of those days,
any of those moments,
you're going to wish that you held on
and then the second thing that you're going to wish
is that you actually bought those dips.
And he adds,
so this is not a time to be shaked out by volatility.
It's a time to stay the course
and a time to be ready to balance
when those opportunities arise.
Being ready means you have to have some cash available
to invest.
There's a lot more on that
and on stock volatility and how to handle it at CNBC.com.
I'm Jessica Edinger, CNBC.
