00I like keeping my money where I can see it. Crazy concept, right? Well, unfortunately, traditional big wireless carriers like to keep my money too. For years, I just accepted it. The high bills, random fees, free perks that somehow made my billing in higher. But then you finally reach that point where you slap yourself on the forehead and make the switch to mint mobile. The difference is pretty incredible. They got plans starting at just 15 bucks a month. Yeah, I said 15. And all plans come with high speed data and unlimited talk and text. All in the nation's largest 5G network. Switching is shockingly simple. You keep your phone, you keep your number, and you can activate in minutes with ESIM. No long-term contracts, no hassle, ditch overpriced wireless and get three months of premium wireless service from Mint Mobile for just 15 bucks a month. If you like your money and I know you do, Mint Mobile is for you. Shop plans at mintmobile.com slash kid. That's mintmobile.com slash KIDD. Up front payment of $45 for three month five gigabyte plan required equivalent to $15 a month.
00New customer offer for first three months only then full price plan options available. Taxes and fees extra. See Mintmobile for details. Some mornings feel heavy. Others feel hopeful. Whatever today brings, we're here. This is the kid-cratic morning show. I know we're all looking at our bank accounts every day going like, when can I retire? Where can I retire? I see so many people talking about that. We got to stop being negative. I need my bank account to be more positive. We got the magic number to have for retirement. I don't hook you up here shortly because we have a pressing matter here. Somebody on the show is potentially being stocked. Yeah, I got a text for us. Notification about, I think a couple of days ago, and I've been kind of ignoring it. It said tracking. Hold on big out. You ignored this a couple days ago. Well, no, here's the thing. I thought it was sending me tracking information for a package or something. I wasn't concerned about it. I could see how you thought that made me.
02And so it kept popping up and so I finally hit it a little earlier in the show and it said, there's an Apple air tag following you that is not attached to you. Yeah, and I think Apple put this in because it was helping women get out of really dangerous situations, like maybe a jealous ex or somebody was putting an Apple tag and tracking them. So now, if you're being tracked by one of these or it's following you for a certain amount of time or distance, it will send you a notification saying, hey, there's an Apple tag following you closely is this you to give you a heads up. That's how Colton the bachelor got caught stocking his ex. Yeah, exactly. Because he put it on her car and it notified her. And now I'm looking for it because we we talked about it off the air and we were going to talk about it well now. And so I now I don't see it. It's not in my notification. It disappeared. It disappeared. I tried to help him find it. You accidentally probably. Yeah, and it's hard to find things like notifications once you get rid of it. But you got the notification this morning while you were here. Yeah, it had been there for a couple of days. Like I said, I thought it was
05like a FedEx or something. And I thought it was tracking info for a package. And you don't have any airbags. And no, I bought some like years ago and I've never to put them on my dogs and I've never even used them. So I don't know where came from. I have no idea. But it said it said somebody's tracking. I'm trying to think of what it said. Yeah, somebody's tracking you. Do you want to continue? And I didn't hit continue. I didn't hit the ex. I was just letting it sit. But now it's not there. That's kind of scary. Because I think it pops up if there's an air tag close to you. So if none of us got it this morning, then it's not here. It's not us. Okay. So it's got to be in your car so much because you've been holding on to that before you finally clicked it. So it's probably on your car. Well, that's even scarier that there's something on my car. Someone's with you. Oh, so flattered. Yeah. In a way, you feel like, oh, I got you. I know for me. If I got me. Yeah, me if I got kidnapped, I'd be like, so why me? That's true. Everybody. What about me? Yeah,
09what about me? I wonder if there's a, we got to find a way to successfully go around your car and find out if there is an air tag on there. There's got to be, we got to find this. Yeah. Perhaps one of your meetups dropped something. Like what's their bag that had an air tag on it? One of my meetups. There's been one in the last five years. Oh, come on. No, seriously. You've talked about multiple meetups. But they don't write in the car. He meets up with them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't know. That's suspicious. From the text that says, hey, big out, you can take it to an automatic, uh, automotive shop and they can check for air tags. Oh, they have like a check car. Wow. Yeah, I don't, I don't, I wouldn't want to be tracked by someone. I don't know, but like, no, I don't know who. I thought about where I would hide it though. Where would you put it? Um, probably where the spare tire is inside the spare tire. So check there. So you got to get ins, like it's the spare tires inside the vehicle. Yeah. You got to get inside the vehicle to do that. Right. Right. But if it's underneath the vehicle, then you just get under there and just
12place it. Yeah. But I feel like outside of the cars, the better place, because I don't think they'll find it there. Like a wheel well or another bumper or something. You could also, you could also take it to the police department big out. They will search for an air tag as well. Is there, uh, is there a thing? Is there a thing that we can buy so that we could see if there's an air tag? Because that'd be cool to take detector. Yeah. I'm sure the phone has to be because I don't have that. So yeah, it's got to be in your car. And I cannot believe you waited a couple days before you finally like, I don't know what it was. That's scary. I don't, you know me. I don't look at you. Yeah. Notifications from your phone. So keep the, keep the advice coming in because yeah, that is a little scary big out. Yeah. Somebody is. If I come up missing, trying to find out where you're at. Well, I don't know what to start. I don't know how to finish that since we're then we're aware. If I come, yeah, you heard me talk about it. Oh, we can battle their tag with our own air tag. So we're going to have to tag you. Oh, tag. We find the other tag. Yeah. To make sure if you do go missing, now we got you. I don't have,
14you know, you don't share your location with me. No, you need to. No, why? For safety. Don't do that. We just said that. That ain't happening. I do. You're doing it. Yeah. And I know you're at Kelly. Yeah, I love knowing I just everyone. So I'll try to make sure it by safe and good. I don't need you. No, I'm at Kelly. Robert shares his location with me. He doesn't want to. What are you guys hiding? He doesn't want to. I kind of love and why not? Well, then why not share your location? Because if you need to know where I'm at, you can text me. Call me. You share your location with me, Justin. I do. Yes. Okay. And first of all, what do you got? Like, you're not going to come help me if I'm in trouble. Yeah. Just, just sometimes I like to know that you're home and you're okay. You know what? It makes me feel so good having Kelly Tech on you. Oh, hey, Jayce here. Yeah, Kelly. I'm good. I'm on my couch. You are my emergency contact. Why can't I know where you are? You don't need no way. I'm a bromance. That's too much. Somebody else can track you, but not us. Right. Somebody does. But I don't know who it is. What do you think is Kelly? Because you don't let her have your
20Now we found the code for it. It was Kelly all along. You should be ashamed of yourself. After all these years, just call me boo. Here's the rule when it comes to guys being tracked. Your wife can track you or girlfriend. And that's it. Your homies can't. Co-workers. Now, I don't need you. Well, me and Daniel are the opposite of that because he doesn't want me to track him either. Look, my ex-wife never tracked me and that worked out fine. You still don't know where he is. Yeah. Just left him. Gone. Routh fit. All right. Well, we'll be on the lookout for the air tag and see if big alley safe. So we'll keep you posted, kidnation. But what is the magic number for retirements? Is this going to make us sad? Yeah. I'm not going to lie to you. I'm going to be real straight with you right now and go. Yes. That has to be in the millions. All right. Well, you would think maybe look. Yeah. Maybe the billion. According to Northwestern Mutual, Americans now need 1.46 million dollars to retire comfortably. That's not nearly as much as I thought it was going to be more. That sounds like a lot. Well, it depends on what age you retireing to. What's the age here?
25I think retirement is 65 right now, right? Well, I mean, you retire when you want. Yeah, you could, but I think they're doing a retirement age. So how much we're supposed to have by that term? It's not included with the checks the government gives us for being old. That's just scary. Yeah. That's assuming it'll still be there. Yeah. We might run out, dude. What? Yeah. You're telling me I'm not going to have social security and I'm paying for it. Probably not. What? Maybe you will. I don't know. Why am I paying taxes? Keep the country running. Just don't do it. The taxes keep the country running. And look at how that's going. That's running. And that social security was meant for us to like take care of us. To be socially secure. Yeah, secure. Hey, you got Instagram. You're socially secure. Yeah, we joke about retiring, but what would we do? I don't know what I want to have to have something to do. I have to have a reason to get up. And I have seen doctors say that when people retire, that's when they, right, you need a purpose. You need a purpose because we have no purpose. You know, I don't necessarily want to keep getting up this early, but I want to have a reason to
27get up. Right. I know. Maybe we can just shift our morning show to maybe a brunch hour. It could be a brunch show. Oh, I love it. The kid kind of brunch show. That way we all have like good sleep and good rest. And we have a mosa every day. Oh, there you go. And also we have a garden, a show garden. And all of garden. Where does that relate? I don't know, but it works because brunch in a garden. I like it. And we sell and we use our stuff from our garden. We make a product and we sell it. This is a lot for work. I'm not trying to do more work. I'm just trying to see how we can start later. I'm just trying to see how we can start later. How do you get to 1.46 million? Well, because Kelly is saying, what will we wake up for? What would be like, what would we do? I feel like all people garden. That's a, that's a purpose. Yes. Yes. If you're passionate about it. Yes. I'm with you. And you plant your flowers. Then we all go to the farmer's market. It sounds all right. That's quaint. I'll send them more. There's too much work. I'll just retire. And we sell. We need to start it. We need to start it. We need to start it. We need to start it. Go fun me and get that one foot for me. And we make a cake with butterflies and rainbows. And we're all happy.
