00Time for Stax and Hacks. Stax, whoa, hello. Stax and Hacks, Chunchy and Rich. So I have Stax information rich as life hacks. In a poll, people said, is it rude to leave a party without saying goodbye to the house? Let's go around the room. To pass on what the party is. OK, well, that's just it. OK, I will say yes, then. In his rude, how would he say? Yeah. Yeah. 33% of people say it's rude. 16% say it's not rude. And 52% of people say it depends on how big the party is. I say it's not, because my whole theory was, if you never say goodbye, they don't know you left. That's right. So they just haven't seen you yet. So you get credit for being there longer. That's been my theory since high school. I disagree, because I feel like it's polite to thank them. It is. It is polite to thank them. But then they don't, if I don't say goodbye, I didn't see them in the party. Oh, she knows everything. Yeah, you were busy, and I took up. Yeah, man, you know. Most people say that Friday is the best day for happy hour.
00That's the best day for happy hour. Gen Zers prefer Peyton, what do you think, your Gen Zer? I would say like a Tuesday happy hour. Gen Zers prefer Saturday. They're also the generation most likely to prefer having happy hour at home, rather than a restaurant or a bar. Definitely. This is a cool job opening. Wendy's is hiring a chief tasting officer. Pays $100,000 a year. Basically, you just taste Wendy's stuff and post videos about it. You can apply Wendy's chief F tasting author. Wait, Wendy's chief tasting officer.com. You just end that tasting with the frosty and some french fries together and you're doing good. Have you guys ever heard of the term seat divorce? No, what is that? Seat divorce. And I didn't know this term, but my wife and I do this. Kind of. It's when you and your partner fly together, but you don't sit together. No one has to have a middle seat, and apparently it's more common than you think. Yeah, I always get emerged. You know, my wife says whoever she wants, because she fits anywhere. I think my wife stays and I have airport divorce because I like to get there early and she does not.
00In fact, John Jay, you've seen us at the airport. You're like, is Stacy come look? Yeah, she's somewhere else. Like we just we don't have to come at different cars at the time. Sometimes, yeah. I like to carry on. She does not a woman in Canada has been selling her custom spice blends under the name Spice Girls. S P Y C E G I R L. Love it. Spice girls. She's been doing it since she was 13 years old. She's being forced to change it because lawyers for the Spice Girls have threatened to sue her. Oh, come on. That's such a bummer. Like we had to kick the little guy, right? I mean, the Spice Girls got, I mean, I know they got nothing going on right now. What the hell? But they wanted to sell Spices. I mean, just let her go. So maybe that gave them a great marketing idea. Ever since the wine business, there's Spices. This next story I really like, because I kind of a little bit attached to the story. I tell you what, a potato farmer and Idaho couldn't sell his entire hall. So he's given millions in millions of the potatoes where he had a food bank. His name is Kent Sutton. He posted on social media.
01He had millions of pounds of potatoes available if someone could just cover the shipping. He is the guy that supplies all the potatoes for Chick-fil-A, I think. Oh, wow. And his nephews play on my son's basketball team in Hawaii. And they had too many potatoes for Chick-fil-A. Yeah, they're like huge potato farmers. They couldn't get them out of town. Isn't that cool? Anyway, richly effort life hacks. Well, if you're heading out for spring break, here's a little hotel trick that season travelers swear by. They say when you check in, ask if there's any end of hall rooms or corner rooms available. First of all, they're usually at the same price. They're often bigger and quieter because they only share one wall with another guest. So if anybody else is party and you wanna get your sleep, that's great. And if you were to party, you just go into their room. So most people never ask for them. So hotels often give them away. If they're open, corner room, end of hall room, same price, way less spring break, when you're trying to go to sleep. Next door, so that is your hack. And it can be found at johnjayrich.com. I wanna take a second to talk about something that's personal to me. I've had the privilege of working closely with Robert Kraft for a long time. And one thing I've always respected is how seriously he takes up standing up to hate. As a Jewish athlete, my identity is something I am proud of. But I also know what it feels like to be singled out for it. That's why this new commercial for the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate, that aired during the big game really hit home.
03It's about showing up for someone when they're targeted, even if you don't have the perfect words. And sometimes standing next to someone is enough. And you could show support by sharing the Blue Square.
