It happened late Friday night around 10.40pm on Raper Street near Greenwood Street. Police rushed to the scene and found her with serious stab wounds. She's now in critical condition with no arrests made yet. Officers set up a cordon that's still in place, and they've been working through the night on their investigation. Greater Manchester Police confirmed the assault details early Saturday morning, and the street remains taped off with guards on duty.
