0:00Police nabbed the suspect after a stabbing on a CT transit bus in Wallingford over the weekend. It went down Saturday near North Colony Road, where a five broke out and one guy got stabbed in the leg. The injuries weren't life-threatening, and he got treated at a local hospital. The trouble started between the suspect and a woman on the bus. When another passenger stepped in, things escalated fast. She allegedly hit him first, and he swung back wildly with a knife, catching the wrong person. No gun turned up at the scene, despite early reports. Cops hit the streets quick, searching around the home depot where the guy bolted. Folks in the area were shook, but no other injuries reported. They tracked down 56-year-old Timothy Scott from Meridan near Yale Avenue. He fit the description perfectly. He's charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, out on a $25,000 bond, with court on April 9. Investigations still rolling, so if you know anything, hit up Wallingford Police at Area Code 203-294-2800.
