Stabbing at Edinburgh Tower Block, Suspect Arrested

The incident unfolded at Cobbinshaw House, where police contained the situation until shortly after 3.30 pm, when they arrested the suspect, through a back door to Dodger Big Crowd out front. Locals who gathered nearby struggled to sort facts from wild online rumors, with some whispers of a hostage crisis, or even threats to a nursery, nearby. Police quickly cleared up the confusion, confirming it was not terror-related, no hostage scenario, and no reports of anyone trying to get into the nursery. Both victims have been released from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, one man with stab-like wounds and a woman with a head cut from something other, then a blade, and the case moves forward from here.
