The draft is one week from tonight, so I thought what better way to cover all three? And with the voice of all three, that would be Dan Horde. All right, I know I can only imagine you were in full, deep-dive mode with all these mocks and reports. Dan Horde, is there a name that you have fallen for at number 10 for the Bengals? I'm a downs guy, Lance, like a lot of Bengals fans. I have been keeping my fingers crossed, doing one simulated draft after another. And occasionally, he's still there.

11:30It seems like a lot of the experts seem to think there's a reasonable chance he'll be there. So I've got my fingers crossed, but that's going to be the case. I know the Bengals have signed a couple of free-age and safety's, and I think they're good. But if you can get him, I think that could really transform their defense. Dan, I get the sense from at least some fans that when if styles and downs and bain are gone, that they would consider corner like a consolation prize and be bombed heck the way I look at. I mean, you can, it's not rocket science. You can never have enough corners in this league. And there's an opportunity for a couple of pretty darn good ones, potentially, I would think. And you know, that may be the way it goes if kind of the four guys that people have been fixated on all along are all gone. Bayley, Bain, styles and downs. If all four of those guys go in the top nine, then cornerback really becomes a strong possibility. Yeah, you're okay on the outside right now with DJ Turner and DAX Hill, but they're both going into the final year of their contract.

12:31I think in all likelihood, they'll resign one and probably not resign both, although I said the same thing about Jamar and T. And that's not the way that that worked out. But I don't see Joe Burrell lobbying for two corners like he did with two odd receivers. So let's just assume that they're able to sign DJ and DAX walks at the end of this year. It would be great to have the very best cornerback in this draft class on the roster. And if they take a corner back with the 10th overall pick, he will be their choice as the very best cornerback in this draft because I don't see any of those guys going before the 10th spot. Dan, what is your current level of concern or what level of urgency do you attach to the linebacker position? Still wish that they had signed one in free agency and it's still a possibility. Bobby Wagner is still out there. I'm kind of wildly hoping that that still is a strong possibility.

13:32I know he's old, but he was the 10th best linebacker in the NFL last year according to pro football focus. So even though he doesn't have the foot speed that he had in his heyday with Seattle, he's still been a really good player for the last two years for Washington. So I haven't given up hope on that. Matt Milano has had a lot of injuries over the last three years. Maybe that scares away the bangles and other NFL teams. I could see why if that's the case. But he was certainly good, a good player before he started getting banged up. And he's still out there. So it seems likely that they're going to draft at least one, but I still would love to see a proven veteran as part of that room. Let's talk some UC and we'll preview the show coming up here in just a second. You've been hanging out at UC's spring football practices. Any any take away or or mental notes you've made that have caught your eye? Quite a few. I think JC French the fourth has been impressive. I really didn't know what to expect. He had been pretty successful the last couple of years. The Georgia Southern. They're all time leading passer,

14:34led them to back-to-back winning seasons, won a ball game this year. But he didn't seem to be one of the top names in the transfer portal. I know they didn't have to pay him a bundle to get him to come to a Cincinnati, although he's being well compensated. But by and large, I think he's been good. He doesn't have the raw talent to Brendan Soresby, but he's an accurate passer. He throws a very catchable ball. I think he's sneaky fast as a runner. Now you don't want him to run a bunch because he's not nearly as big. His Brendan Soresby, but having watched him now for most of the 14 practices that they've had, including today's practice, I think they can win with JC French at quarterback. Over to Hoops, Jared Calhoun's been here there everywhere, pounding the pavement, pounding the portal, early thoughts on what he's been able to get done. I'm fairly impressed with the guys that they've added. Among the players that they've been able to get commitments from so far, I think Adlin Elimine, who they added today,

15:34who played for Jared at Utah. A state seems to be a guy that has tremendous upside. I'm really surprised or impressed by the fact that he got him to go to Utah State in the first place. He was a four-star recruit. He had a lot of big time offers. Jared convinced him to play for him there, and now he's convinced him to fall into Cincinnati. So he's got three years left. He's got high upside, a super athletic six-nine guy. So that was great news today. As you know, I went to Syracuse. Miles Colvin had made eight threes against Syracuse this year for Wake Forest, so I know he can shoot. And Tyler Tahada is a guy that averaged nearly 18 points a game last year. He was a high-volume shooter, so perhaps we can downgrade him a little bit for that. But I do like adding guys that have a scoring average like that. And naturally, I'm excited about Eric Mahathy, because anytime you can get a highly-touted local guy that wants to play for his hometown team, I think that's good. I mentioned you've got a special show coming up

16:35after me at eight tonight. Layout for listeners, what it's all about, and what's going to take place. Yeah, we do. It'll be our final coaches radio show of the year. And we are splitting it up with two newcomers. The first half will be Cincinnati's new defensive coordinator, Nate Woody, who comes to Cincinnati after doing an awesome job the last six years at Army. I think I can promise Bearcat fans that they will not have to worry about too many three-man past rushes this year. He is going to send people after the quarterback, so I'm sure he will be asked about that a lot tonight. And then in the second half-hour, Jared Calhoun is going to take some time out of his busy portal combat to join us at the original Montgomery Inn. And I don't know how much he can say about individual players at this point until they have officially signed on the dotted line, but obviously everybody is eager to hear from Jared. And I'm looking forward to talking to him from 830 to 9 tonight. I know you are fired up with anticipation for tomorrow night's debut of the Huggins documentary Beyond the Bench.

17:37Memorial Hall will be the debut spot. Do you know, did you survive the cutting-room floor? Are you in this? I'm fairly certain that I do appear. I don't know how much of my lengthy blabber is going to make the documentary, but I do think there are a couple of subjects that they wanted to include me on. So I have seen some snippets. I think it's incredibly well done. Kudos to Alan and his people for the lengths they went to, to really talk to everybody and anybody that they wanted to talk to. They flew all over the country basically to get anybody that they thought was important to weigh in on Coach Huggins' career in his life. I think people are really going to enjoy it. Last question. We've been known to a trade occasional TV show recommendations back and forth. Do you watch the pit? I have not. It's definitely on the list for my wife and I.

18:42The way it kind of works in our household lands is that I wait for the rest of the world to weigh in. And one, the public has decided that this is a great show and that seems to be the universal opinion. Then we dive in. So I'm never on the cutting edge of these shows. I never watch them, you know, when they originally air. Eventually, I get around to most of the good ones. And we definitely have that marked out as something that we eventually have to watch. Yeah, it sounds like you agree. Yeah, it is really, I will admit, I'm a little squeamish. So there's at least a couple of scenes an episode I have to turn away from, but it is really good. You will really like it. No, Wiley is outstanding. Is he basically the same character that he was on ER? No, he's, um, he's like an older, more mature with a little bit of an edge because he's nearing the end. I don't want to, I don't want to spoil it for you. But, um, it is, yeah, it's cool. It's kind of like 24 like the Jack Bauer show. It's one day, hour by hour, it by episode.

24:52You know, this is a fun time of the year. And anytime you're playing meaningful games at this point, it's, uh, it's never a bad thing for sure. I looked up today. You have been involved in 75 ECHL playoff games in your career. And if you get in, anything can happen. There is nothing like playoff hockey. When I say that, I think you probably nod your head. Explain to the listeners just what playoff hockey's like. Oh, it's, it's something special. I mean, it really is hard to put into words. I mean, I know so many people that, you know, they're avid sports fans, but they might not be the biggest hockey fans. And then every year they come back and they throw on the NHL playoff. And they just, they can't get over how exciting it is and just the intensity and just how hard every single game is to get a win. And I mean, it's nothing different. Narley, same format, same amount of games. So it's, it's, it's awesome.

25:53You know, the fan base, you know, the support around here. I mentioned the two dollar dogs and sodas and beer times like these. You could really use your crowd this weekend, couldn't you? Yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be a huge one. I mean, obviously with the, the slight schedule change and everything and these two games added to the end of the year. I mean, they couldn't come at a better time for us. You know, the reds are out of town. So any of the sports fans that want to come down and cheer us on and enjoy all the deals going on. It's definitely well appreciated because these are two huge games for us. This will be a milestone game for you. Your 600th ECHL game. A tomorrow night. I know you're the ultimate team guy. But individually, what does 600 ECHL games mean to you? Other than being old, I mean, it's something cool. You know, obviously playing this long and, you know, seeing those kind of tallies come up, it's definitely something cool

26:54and something that you can kind of hang your hat on. Once you do retire, but with that said, I mean, I haven't really even put too much thought into it just because these two games are still in port and, you know, you just got to control what we can control and just kind of go out Friday night and take it one game at a time. You've got a teammate Ryan Kerwin named ECHL to the all rookie team this week leads you guys in goals and points. Nine power play goals, six game winners. Give me your impressions. You're the wildlife veteran. You've seen guys come and go and youngsters arrive. Give me your impressions of Ryan Kerwin. Um, he's, he's a pure goal score. He's, you know, he's shot in just his kind of knack for around the net and knowing when to shoot, where to shoot, kind of when to catch goalies off the off their angle or by surprise. It's rare to see, especially from a guy in his first pro year, have that kind of knack for the game. And I mean, all around these skates, well, he's a big guy.

27:54I mean, I think, you know, obviously if he keeps and keeps improving and kind of keeps on the trajectory started with, uh, there's no, there's no doubt that he could definitely find him what, find his way, climb it up the ranks. Hey, well, I got you. I gotta ask you, you're a Miami Red Hawk. How about to coach Andy Noreen in the turnaround of that program under him? Oh, it's awesome. He's, he's done an amazing job and, uh, I mean, I couldn't be more happy to kind of see things trending in the right direction, especially kind of with the landscape of how college sports in general are right now. I know it's hard to recruit and to maintain and to keep players. And especially, you know, Miami's obviously not the biggest powerhouse when it comes to college hockey, you know, you're competing against the big 10 schools and a lot of large donor schools. So he's been definitely working, working his butt off and it's definitely paying off. Cyclones home two times this weekend. Playoffs at stake. Cool things for the fans. It's fan appreciation games, two dollar dogs, two dollar soda, two dollar beers.

And most of it seems to be pretty cordial conversation. In fact, there are some guys around each other around home plate. So much to do about nothing. It gives guys, I guess, a chance at the end of this series to shake hands. But there doesn't seem to be any bad blood now. Mueller heads have definitely prevailed. But it was starting to get a little contentious there for a moment. So it looks like it's all done now. The guys that know each other on the two sides of chance to catch up briefly here. Some hugs around the field as well. Even a rise giving Terry that is the frustration of not hitting. Yeah, that's how this ball game has progressed this whole series.

37:06Sooner or later, you reach a bowling point. So it looks like everything's good now. Even a domus over to give Emilio Pagana handshake. The umpires are still out there just to make sure that everything stays calm before they head off the field. But it looks like everybody's going to be all right. So the giant shake hands, they leave the field. Reds fall three to nothing to San Francisco here at Great American Ballpark this afternoon. That's how it sounded. And now look, I don't want to spend a whole lot of time on this because I think spending a whole lot of time in it is losing the plot. To me, the story isn't that three instances of just yapping. I've never heard of three teams in a 24-hour span having three different incidents. Where they just yell at each other without somebody doing something. I mean, and without doing something, you're just gum flapping for three different occasions. But I don't even think it's that if that's the talking point, then we've lost the plot. Because to me, the plot is it was another absolutely just unacceptable,

38:12final game of a series performance by this team. And I'll get to that in a second, but to wrap up that sound you just heard, you go back to last night, South Stewart had called a late time out in his at bat that irritated JT Brew Baker, the giant's pitcher. And then so JT was all bent out of shape. And then he delayed delivery of a pitch down to like the final say. And as he's waiting and waiting, Sal or Spencer Steer says to him, blank you throw the blank in ball and Brew Baker through the ball. And Sal or Spencer Steer too many s's lined a single over the short stops hit. He said that was last night. Today, the first time that Spencer Steer came to the plate, he got one in the back between the shoulder blades, which for my money should have been an ejection at that point, based on what the empires knew about last night, but it wasn't. So the empires allowed things to carry on until the seventh when Connor Phillips took things

39:16into his hands and he hit Willie Adamus. And at that point, Connor Phillips was thrown out of the game, which I don't understand because I don't believe he was warned. And if the giants weren't going to be thrown out, have their pitcher thrown out for obviously retaliating again, Spencer Steer, I don't know why Connor Phillips is thrown out for throwing at Willie Adamus. So fast forward to the ninth. Sal strikes out on that final pitch and Eric Miller, the pitcher for the giants who got the strike out said to him, quote, sit the blank down. And Sal Stewart looked at him and said, watch your blank in mouth. And the benches emptied this time. The second one, the earlier one of the game, they all kind of stood at attention on the top of the steps at the edge of the bullpen gates didn't come out this time and everybody came out. But nothing happened. And again, I don't understand what the purpose is of just yelling at each other three different times. If somebody, if somebody's truly taking exception to it, then do something

40:16about it. But I don't recall ever two teams yelling back and forth of each other three different times and nobody doing anything with that. That's that. When we continue, I'm going to get into today's performance because it was again, it was just a, I really aggravating and bull crap performance in the series. And they've had three of these now. Their last three series have had three unacceptable performances. As far in part of me says, well, Lance, just take two out of three, you know, they won two out of three. But I'm sorry, it's a home series. It's one of the worst teams in baseball. You'd blown the last game in the Marlin series. You blew the last game of the Angel series. This team's not good enough to miss opportunities where they should take advantage of situations. And they got one hit today by their backup catcher who started the year at level and didn't score aggravating. We put an hour in the books. I'll expound on that to a

And when I found out about this, I thought, all right, I don't know how often or if I've ever done a segment on Rugby, I said I should probably do that because there's a lot I could probably learn about rugby, the growth, the popularity and specifically St. X rugby. So our next guest is the varsity rugby coach at St. X. He's here to talk about the sport and the weekend. What a treat to welcome in. Mark Widener, Mark, how are you? Hey, Lance, how you doing? I'm doing great. It is great to hear your voice. Congrats on the anniversary. Do I understand this correctly?

45:48St. X. Rugby is the oldest high school rugby team in the state of Ohio? It is, it is by far actually. So they were formed in 1976. Indian Hill had a rugby team and the students were playing on the Indian Hill rugby team and they weren't getting fair treatment so they thought so they decided they were going to start their own rugby team. And so that was 1976 and 50 years later we're still going in strong. St. X didn't like the rugby team and so they had to go off down the hill and play and be the north and rugby club for quite a few years then they came back up, re-adopted the program and so we're having a celebration. Before we get into the sport as a whole in a second tell me about the festivities. What all is going on tomorrow on Saturday? So we've got a game at the, we essentially play everybody in rugby so that everybody who's on the team gets to play so there's different levels of rugby. And so we've got our varsity B, our second team is playing Winfrey's

46:52A team. Then we're going to have wanted Hills is going to be playing our A team at 430. We're going to have an alumni game at 530 where all the 50 years of rugby players are going to come and play each other. Yeah. And then at 630 the varsity will play an olympan GLA state final rematch of the upper program. All right. So tell me about the sport in the state of Ohio. High school in Ohio. Is it is it growing in interest in popularity? It is growing and it's one of the fastest growing sports in the country. It's repeated. You know, rugby was the last time the rugby was out of 15th in the Olympic United States won it. So that was in the early 1900s and of course, we threw rugby as an American football. But you know, it get re-induced back in the United States in the 70s and it's really growing now. We're getting a lot of youth programs that are forming. Cleveland's got, you know, 1000 kids in the youth program up there. We've got

47:54100 kids in our youth program down here now and we're just people are getting back and starting clubs all over the city. So it's an exciting time for rugby and if anyone ever watched it and played it, it is so much fun. I played college football and I got introduced to rugby and fell in love with it and see, you know, the best sport you can play. Mark. If I if I'm looking if I'm understanding what I was looking at earlier this morning, I think I've seen you guys have won 69 and nothing, 86 and nothing. Tell me about your season and and how do you travel? I would think you have to travel in many cases to to find opponents. What's what's that like from that standpoint? So there are it really depends on the level of play that you want to find. So there are local matches and local games you can play, but we're at a high level program. So we have to seek out high level rugby teams. So we're traveling to St. Louis and playing over there. Wow. We played a team from our cat and Wisconsin team Father Ryan from Tennessee. There we play teams in Kansas.

48:56So there is travel, but it's not as much as you think. The Cleveland two teams, Ed and Ignatius are, you know, nationally ranked teams. I think thanks to one of the national championships the last year, the top 10 top 20 national program. We played them every year. Moller's got a program. They're an athlete rank program. We're an athlete rank program. So we just go out there. Last year we played in North Carolina. So we do there is a little bit of travel. You know, you have to do that in order to seek out great teams. There are 30 teams in Ohio, you know, but some are better than others. It is my understanding that rugby world cup is coming to the US for the men in 2031. The women in 2033 and talked to me about this because I guess since that he's trying to be one of the host cities for this event. True. That is true. So they've been world cup has been to the city of Cincinnati. I think you are stadium is going to be the host site for it. If it is, if it does come to Cincinnati and St. X will be one of the four locations for

49:57the host teams to practice that for the two weeks that will be in Cincinnati. So yeah, exciting times for rugby world cup. I want to really reintroduce rugby to our country. And the best way to do it is to bring the best teams in the world here to the United States and, you know, get that momentum rolling and, you know, get the sleeping guy going has Cincinnati. I guess on the cut downs has Cincinnati made the latest. I guess they're still in contention for a possibility. Yeah, so we're down to my finalist. So I think that there's one more cut down and then that they'll do the finalist. But they, you know, they visited the five pines and, you know, I don't know that they would be doing that if they weren't serious about bringing it here. Do you see the city of Cincinnati? So they love the stadium and the dimensions of that field and the actual graph location. That's, you know, super important for rugby because they don't want to play on turf. Yeah. It is, you know, it's a, or where you don't have equipment and we don't need to tackled on to that hard turf. So they want to, you know, play it on graph.

51:01Where does, Mark, where does the, the USA team stand? International is that the sport continues to grow popularity. More players, better athletes, better competition. Where is the US team like in the, the grand scheme of things internationally right now in terms of talent and, and level of play? New Zealand is by far the New Zealand South Africa, Australia, England, France. So things are far and above better than the United States. We're probably 15, 16th in the world. So in it's, we're not even close to competing against those other nations. We just don't have the athletes that play rugby in the United States because it's not introduced to anybody. But, you know, the close comparison is people that are really, really good at soccer, really good at football and good at basketball are the type of kids that you're going to want to play rugby. And, you know, obviously they're playing, you know, the other sport here in the United States. So, you know, we just flagged from that.

52:03I learned something else today in an email I got from you that Richard Skinner calls your matches. Has he figured out, and I taught, I immediately called him and I said, wait a minute, you called the Xanax rugby matches? Has he figured out those hand signals and penalties yet? Or is that still a work in progress? That is a work in progress. He's starting to get it. We talk after games and I kind of give him ideas of what they're calling. But for somebody that never had watched rugby before, he said, that's an amazing job on this on this project. It's fun to listen to him. The kids really enjoy listening to him. And, you know, he's good at it and, yeah, we love it. That's awesome. That is awesome. So, for somebody listening now and they're going, huh, I didn't, I didn't know. I would assume they could come out to one of your matches and be a spectator and watch. Am I correct? That is right. That is exactly right. Yeah. So, we play on the South Campus, which is across the street. So, we have a grass field over there with the locker room.

53:04And then our alumni, you know, 50 years of them donated enough money. So, we bought a, we built an international rugby field right over the hill from us. It's growing grass right now and it's going to be ready to play by next spring. So, we're going to have, you know, a enormous rugby field there for us to play. So, that's where they're going to practice when they, you know, when the internet comes from here. That is outstanding. So, yeah. So, for 13, 630, so we play Olin, Tangi, and Wanadil. And, you know, people can come because it's a fun game to watch. And, you know, more importantly, come and enjoy and play rugby because, you know, it also goes really super fast growing in women's sports because there isn't a sport out there for women. And you saw the women get third in the Olympics. It's a path here at the in France. And, there just isn't a sport for women where it's a full

54:05contact sport where the rules aren't any different from the men and the women. You know, you've got field hockey where they don't hit each other and you got lacrosse or they don't hit each other. But in rugby, they literally the same sport, the same physicality. And, you know, the type of, you know, there's just the body type and a type of a personality for the women. They just don't have that other than rugby. I am so glad you reached out to me. I learned something in many things in our conversation. And I like doing different things and things that can expose people to different things as well. And this was fun. Congrats on the 50 years. In rugby, it would actually be a mall where, you know, in, yeah, scrum is a very organized play. And, you know, you got to eight on eight where they put the ball

55:09in the middle of the restart play. And it's very organized. And it's literally, you're trying to push them over the ball and push the other team backwards in games, possession of the ball. But in a mall, it's a much more, you know, more of a free for all. But everybody's got to come through a gate and it's a much safer place. And if it goes to ground, then the, you know, the official immediately blows the whistle in case somebody gets hurt. But in football, that, that doesn't happen. And that's kind of where, you know, where, you know, people always call it scrum, but it's not a scrum. It's them all. So just something else I learned tonight as well. You know, I am, I think if you listen to this show, I'm generally an optimistic person. And the optimistic side of me says, Lance, take two out of three and be happy. They won two out of three. Imagine if you won two out of three in every series. But the other part of me says, I've seen today happen too many times. And today is one of those can be one of those separators ultimately between being a playoff team and not being a playoff team. That is the third straight series. The reds have fallen flat in the season finale. Three straight losses in the series wrap up. They lost to the Marlins last week, won the first two in that series against the Marlins, lost the third game, went to the fourth game with a chance to win the series and look like they were tired, worn out had no interest in being there and wanted to hop on the plane and got clocked eight to one.

1:01:19And then the angel series this weekend, they went into Sunday needing the win at home to win the series over the angels. And they fell behind nine to nothing before losing nine to six. And today they get one single hit and score no runs. That drives me crazy. Seven thinning. It was scoreless. Reds didn't have a hit to the six. PJ Higgins gets the only hit. Scoreless into the seventh when Ellie's air opened up the door. Matt Chapman, you just heard delivered the double for one run. The door didn't slam until the giants scored three unearned runs. All three runs scored after the error. They should have been out of the inning. So one hit 12 strikeouts, shut out for the first time since opening day. Keep Brian Hayes, over three today, over his last 26. Reese Hines, over three today, over 10 cents returning. Moment of the game, six thinnings, scoreless. Reds get their first two on.

And just the way he talked about his approach and in the learning process, kind of caught my ear. I'm a big fan of Kyle Henley. Thought you'd be interested in a little bit of their conversation. Here's Matthew Mounsy, the voice of the Tortugas with Kyle Henley, the Speedster center fielder in Daytona. I'm just trying to play my game. I know like we don't need a lot of big hits right now. We just need base runners. So my biggest thing is just for me to get on base and get in the scoring position for these guys to try to get a spark going. So just trying to just playing in myself, not get too big and just be comfortable and just just keep it enjoying in the game. How big of a positive influence has this coaching staff been for you so far this season? You've gotten to learn from some former big leagueers, manager, Ricky Gutierrez, hitting coach, Jose Leon. What have those guys instilled in you?

1:09:50Yeah, I mean, compared to last year, you know, they were really hands-on for me. I was a lot younger. I didn't know a lot in this year. They're kind of just allowing me to just kind of be a leader. They don't say too much to me unless when they need to say stuff. So just trying to, the way they just help me understand the game and what it takes to be a leader on a team, instead of just having someone kind of hold my hand through the whole process, it's a huge difference for me. And I think it's going to help me make my own decisions and kind of learn what I need to do that works for me down the line. So it's awesome having these guys and and they just experience they have and the way they go about their business is just they're all wonderful guys to look look up to. Now we got to talk about the speed for a second. You broke the Tortugas and the Florida State League franchise record and all-time record with 57 bags last season. You already have four this year and lead the Florida State League. What about you as a runner kind of allows you to steal so many bases aside from your incredible speed? Yeah, and that that all was something I had to learn last year like an ACL I can get away with

1:10:53just running. And then I think out here these catchers and pitchers are a little bit more experienced. So it's like just I'm trying to pick the right pitches to go on. I'm not just going just to go. That's never been the case for me. We got a lot of good hitters and a lineup so I don't want to take too many pitchers away from them because I know like they're like to take so I can get in scoring position. But I just try to pitch or take good pitches to go on, change up sliders. So let the you're riding the box stuff like that. And then one look to look. So I got a Monte over there and Lenny over there helping me giving me the information I need. So it's just it's a whole lot of things that go into it. But I really just try to keep it simple and just just pick the right times ago. And I think that goes a long way. Last thing tell us a little bit about that speed. Did you run track growing up or something? Where did this speed come from? Have you always been the fast-scaled on the field? Yeah, so actually I think the speed comes from when I played football. You know, I grew up in a very suburban area. But when we go down to inner city Atlanta to play, play those guys and those guys were a little bit more physical than us, a little bit more

1:11:54quicker than us. And I was running back and I did not like to get hit. So if you're running back and don't like to get hit, you're going to have to run. So I ran from my life back there and then as I got older, it kind of just kept that way. And then I didn't really even realize how fast I was until I did a perfect game showcase when I was 15. And then I ended up running like the fastest time out of any any class of 2023 player in the country. And then from there, it's kind of like, I'm kind of quick. So from there, it's kind of like I had to learn what my game is and how to use the speed. And then that's really when I found out how fast I was. I liked that kid. 21 years old. They drafted him in 2023 at a high school, 14th round. But knows who he is and what is how he skills translates and new playing football that he didn't like being tackled. So he ran fast. 57 steals last year when Matthew sent me that he had four steals. He's already got nine. And last night again, four hits, four runs, three ribbies, a walk in two steals. Holy cow. Even said they'd removed the rusty satellite dish off the roof that we no longer use, which was great. Equal to me a price. Boom. Work is on the books to be done. And I told him this and I'll say this here, the piece of mind and the sense of relief, the weight off of my shoulders and mind of this hassle for three weeks. I feel so much more at ease than I because of what they came out and did today and the help they offered no more, where I know more being ignored, no more arguing about anything.
