My guess, is most men don't actually feel good when they hear the expectation of being Spiritual leaders. Not because they don't want to do it well, but more so, that is sounds daunting and secretly discouraging. Unfortunately very few have seen it in their own lives and now they are expected to do something that can be hard to navigate. No one likes to have expectations where it feels ambiguous to live up to them.
