Ethan with our show you going We're going in He accept this and most we pursuing it I'll hold out Sean Shang through the sewer kid Now we're chilling at the eagle Yeah, we doing it Three o'clock on the dot Gotta have it for my house A ghost status, how would you turn and keep credit? Shones at the multiply like a rabbit Tune in zone out crank it up Be the habit I wanna hang out with my friends Rockin' on the radio My home home home always been a skin Rockin' on the radio It's time to do this once again Or baby here we go KT Christina Benzman All the home on the radio

01Happy St. Patrick's Day This is the world famous Ben and Skin Show 97.1 The eagle thank you for tuning in today and every day We got the full squad reassembled back together again Ben Rodgers, Jeff Skin Wade The Wichita Falls Wildcard Kevin KT Turner And Christina K. Ray, Little Baby Cornbread Ray Look at me! Man, we've got a great show for you today Do not miss the big finish today At just about 545-45-ish Blake Jones joins us from the dumb zone We've talked about this story Where he was donating money to a homeless person You know, he didn't just give a guy money He set him up on a payment plan Start credible Give him $100 a month Yeah And that's what a lot of like when you do charitable stuff Been a lot of times like they'll do drives And pledges and everything's like Hey, for just this amount of month You can help out a person all year long He did that on his own He didn't even, it wasn't like someone reaching out to him going Here's a plan, he came up with that on his own Yeah

01And then the homeless guy got mad at him For not attending his birthday party And broke up with him and said, keep your money And that birthday party, according to KT, was that a gas station? Yeah, I missed that I missed that It was that a gas station? Turns out, but I thought it was that a gas station Okay Yeah Still, I might have my birthday party at a gas station Yeah, I just assume that's where all homeless people hang out It's his street corner gas station But it's so sweet of a person like Blake to say, you know what? I'm going to impact this guy's life But you start getting into some of the reasons why somebody I mean, there's a million different reasons why things can unfold poorly in your life And you might find yourself homeless But maybe the decision making process to be homeless And turn down a hundred free dollars a month Is an indication that you're not a great decision maker Yeah, you know I mean, those paths can go a lot of different ways Yeah, your emotion got in the way And you told a guy to keep a hundred dollars and you are homeless I'm going to find someone else to give me a hundred dollars a month Right

01I'll show you It's crazy Right, it's how does that even happen Yeah, emotions get the best of us, dammit It's a great story though And do not miss that, we'll get into that at just about 545 Be sure to lock in for that, it's going to be great So scanned your back You were traveling with the maps doing some road games Yeah, it was an impromptu deal, it wasn't scheduled But so I had to fly out the last minute And you guys covered my ass yesterday, so thank you How crazy was Friday You know, Friday Yeah, you know, when we had the freak, we had this thing where We had this whole game show where the idea was the punishment was You have to do a show by yourself Yeah, we ended up in that situation Because Christina was in Arlington You were a last minute cancellation to go do some map stuff And we're like, we're fine, we got this, it's me and KT on remote at Choctaw in Durant, Oklahoma I didn't know KT was going to screw you over like that I would have never committed And KT is so talented that he shows up, he makes doing the show easy Because he's just a content factory, right?

01Right, right He's a fun factor, you'll see that on today's show Yeah, he's just created magical content out of nothing He's like the biggest slide at the water park, you know what I'm saying And you like, you don't like, if you like when you're in your phone, you have phone numbers And so like all I have to do is go to skin's name, hit skin, and it calls you I don't have to memorize your phone number, right? And so I think of doing a show with KT like that a lot of times Like on my full hour drive to Choctaw, I wasn't preparing for a show I was waiting to meet KT and find out what's on our show Yeah, you were driving and playing Candy Crush at the same time Right, and so I arrived and found out that KT might not make the show at all So I was going to be by myself with him on And coming up next, I didn't know a lot of us from the show He kept teasing what was coming up next Yeah, but there was the funny moment where KT didn't you leave, didn't you say you left your house at one? Yeah And you got to Choctaw at five Five, yeah

01It's brutal But there was a really funny moment where KT was calling in from somewhere in McKinney but he wasn't sure where And I was calling in driving the opposite direction headed down to the Mav game And it was all happening on Yvonne's FaceTime Yeah Because for whatever reason we're not set up where we can take phone calls On the road It doesn't work in here right now Right, which is crazy Go for it, it won't work And so Yvonne figured it out And so it was FaceTime that ended up working Yeah, but from what I heard and let me say this too I have an eyewitness account My wife was driving back from lunch with her sweet mom And she had tuned in and listed Been doing a great job right now That's very nice Very nice, and all of you guys were rallying So you made it easy I do have a quick question Did you have to pee while you're stuck in there? Oh yeah Oh yeah, well I get to Choctaw I was starving and I needed to pee But number one, I had to run in there and do the job

01That's all I thought about was all these people who are stuck in that traffic jam for hours Where do you go to the bathroom? There was two this morning that shut down in DFW There was one on 30 and one on 635 and 75 Fatality accidents Where the road is shut down for investigation Let me just tell you guys I am always prepared for that I think ahead And if you're ever in my car do not pick up that empty gatorade bottle Right And the reason it's there Well, today is a special day for me Because Kurt Russell is 75 Kurt Russell's birthday We'll talk about him huge in the today game And I was just I have a list of his 10 best films And I'm just curious as to if you guys have seen any Okay, so I think skin has probably seen you So write this down If number one is not used cars, I'm furious It's not in an order But it's 10 to his 10 best movies Is this according to you? Yes, according to me But I only have nine that I'm willing to put on the list Okay, but there's a 10th one that is on every list So I'll ask you about it Got you But Escape from New York Incredible

01He plays Snake Pliskin So good A John Carpenter film Yeah, I don't have any which always has fun music I don't have any of the other escapes on there I think it's Escape from LA Escape from Corpus Christi Yeah It was the endless Big trouble in Little China Incredible Kind of plays like a John Wayne character Tombstone Okay Grey western I've never seen it I love it It's the only one I've seen so far Closed to James Which is very similar to Tombstone It is very similar to Tombstone He played Y at Upp in Tombstone So Tombstone, isn't that costar playing Y at Upp and then Yeah I think it's Vice Versa Anything about Chumren? One of those There is, he's in Tombstone Oh, he is in both of them Maybe They hate the late Tarantino Great old kind of western So many westerns out of so good Overboard The only holly hon is Wife Backdraft Yeah, we're the most important firefighter movies of all time. I think that's a lot of Howard film, right? Miracle, which he plays the coach who was a big A-hole. Yeah, but he's a Miracle 90s, 1980 Lake Plastic.

03Used cars, oh, it's so good. Fantastic. So many boobs. And there's another one that's always on all these lists, the thing, I don't know anything about it. You've never seen the thing? No, oh my God, the thing is badass. John Carpenter movie, early 80s, John Carpenter score, and it's a remake of a 50s film. And in this movie, a group of scientists that are in Antarctica, there's an alien discovery, and then the alien starts going after all. Kind of like the movie alien, where it comes out. There's a scene, I'll never forget it, because it came out when I was like 11 or 12, and a dog is infested with the alien. All these tentacles start shooting out in it. Wilford Brimley is in it, Kurt Russell is in it, dude, you've got to watch the thing tonight. Two of the greatest actors of all time on the same movie, incredible dog. So how many of those have y'all seen? One, just two, one, back draft. I've seen everything except Tombstone and Wyatt Earp. And he's going to use Wyatt Earp in both of those movies. He is in both of those movies. Is one of the people? All right, there you have it.

03Happy birthday, Kurt Russell. We'll do a deep dive, a less shallow dive on him when we celebrate him in the today game. That is the deep dive. Coming up next, again, we're going to take us in. Thing skin is tracking. All right, I'm going to tell you reasons why you should love where you live, baby. All right, before we get there, I want to talk about Frankl and Frankl. Mark, Frankl, Scott, Frankl and Jean Brickett. Those are the three partners at Frankl and Frankl. That's what you need to call if you're involved in a wreck that's not your fault. These guys are phenomenal at what they do, which is why they win so many awards voted on by their peers, some voted on by their clients. And I was one. I got into a horrible wreck one day and I called the Frankl's from the scene. It's never too early to get them involved. Two, one, four, three, three, three, 33, 33, two, one, four, all threes for Frankl and Frankl. But you might be thinking, I can't afford to call lawyer. Yes, you can. They only get paid if they reach a settlement on your behalf. And that's what they did for me. They fought the other side, set up the MRIs, X-rays, and physical therapy. And at the end of it all, Frankl and Frankl got me a nice cash settlement. And what they do, it's what they've done for 30 years, they're advocates for injury victims

06and they will have your back with no out-of-pocket expenses for you. Incredible reputation, incredible track record. Nobody does it better than Frankl and Frankl. And they are personal friends of mine and Ben. Mark Scott and Gene have been great for us. They're great partners. They're the ones to turn to if you get hurt. And a record on the job site, someone was careless, they made a mistake. They were negligent. You shouldn't have to flip the bill for that. Frankl and Frankl help you out big time. They get you the settlement you deserve. Give them a call first. Two, one, four, three, three, 33, 33, 33, 33. That's where you call the Frankl's first. Also works with 817 and all threes. It's Frankl and Frankl. Chosen by the people and feared by the insurance companies. F-R-E-N-K-E-L. Call Frankl first.
