I knew I could trust him to bury my sweet nibbles after his untimely end. Huh. Nibbles. Gone too soon. May he scurry in peace. They say about your pet, but I just wire stuff. The holiest of the high holidays out there. 3-Eleven and 11 seed. I see what you did there, Keith. It's pretty cheeky. It's pitted against the six seed of white stripes. You can vote coming up about 15 minutes from now at Jones and Keith. Should I give the full name? Keith, or should I just give the snappy new hashtag that we were given? Oh yeah, I appreciate that. That, who had that for us? Matt on Twitter gave us a nice new acronym. So it is the Jones and Keith. 1990 slash early 2000s. Heavy metal, new metal grunge alternative, pop punk, butt rock, rock bands, bracket. Or the JK M M 9 E to H M N M G A P P B R rolls right up. So you can do that final matchups in the grab bag region today.

And then starting tomorrow, we're on to round two. So you can jump in 617779 793 7 on Friday, the 13th, Keith. We have the inaugural Jones and Keith awards. Those will be all day long with, of course, our regular topics mixed in on Friday. Uh, but drop of the year, grab bag of the year, show of the year, things of that nature will be doing on Friday, leading you right into the Oscars this weekend. So tune in on Friday the 13th for that. And then a week from tomorrow, yes. We're going to be at Jake and Joseph Wooburn for day one of the NCAA tournament. What better time than that? How about that? So we'll get there nice and early. Show starts at 10. First game is at noon, right? Usually right at like high noon or 1210 or something like that. So we'll be there with our brackets. Yes. Have our brackets ready to go. We'll be there with food drink. Yeah, we can dress in something that day food drink. Oh, I'll wear a college basketball jersey. Yeah. Yeah. Does it fit? Oh, come on, Nick. That's not fair. We were all.

We were all. We were all. I think a triple act. Yeah. I got to go. Don't worry. I'll be fine. We were all thinking it goes down to my toes. Anyway, yes. Twitch chat. That is correct. It'll be a midday road show is what that'll be. Yeah. Jake and Joseph Wooburn. Hello. Jones and Keith awards this Friday, Friday the 13th, about 48 hours away. And of course, the Jones and Keith bracket go vote at Jones and Keith, 311 and the White Stripes coming up about 15 minutes from now. Lots to get to on the show. We'll get to the Patriots. The dobs signing yesterday. Max Crosby. No longer a Raven, but Trey Hendrixson is. I mean, please. We can get into team USA, not understanding the rules of the World Baseball Classic. And on the verge of getting knocked out tonight, so you can tune in for more of that. Plus, we'll get to the Bruins coming up about 15 minutes from now. We started with the Celtics, Celtics measured up with the Spurs. I think we got robbed of potentially a great game last night because of Jalen Brown. You think we got robbed of it because of the refs. Yeah. I think the refs screwed in.

The refs need to know. It's a prime time game. And I'm not saying that Jalen Brown acted like the most professional that we've ever seen them. But still, I think as a ref, you have to have a thicker skin. If you want to throw them a technical, I guess, but don't throw them out of the game. I thought that was a mistake. We still ended up with a good game. It would have been better. Obviously, it would have been better. And who knows? Maybe the result would have been different. It was a good game that, like, kept you in. Classic. No, kept you interest right. Maybe we were on pace for a classic or even just what we got earlier this week with O.K.C. in Denver, which was a spectacular March NBA basketball game. Like, it's not the NBA finals. But you still got a real showcase of what Victor Wembeyama is. Even more so, I didn't expect him to hit eight threes in the game. I think I forget if that set a career, tie a career high, but either way, it was right there. I think the average is like two a game, right? I think they mentioned that in the Bronx. So he was, was burying threes, but you see that. You see how good this spurs are, but there were still some really big possessions for the Celtics. And Jason Tatum played right in his 27 minutes once again.

He had some, some good moments. How about Ron Harper Jr.? I don't know if it's just because his brother was on the other side, but that kind of possessed. He was awesome. Let me say something that I agree with Scalon. When Scal was talking about this last night, he's like, score another one for Brad and these fines. Like, I mean, that's, that's like another useful piece, not to overwrite what it is. It's just a useful piece. It's not a future all star. It's not a starter. Still. But like, that was, that was with Jalen out, stepped up and self-inflicted out. He stepped up in a big, big way. He was making it in threes. He entailed. Banking in threes. So yeah, not the result that you wanted and it was frustrating could have been better. But holy smokes. I mean, if this ends up being an NBA final series, it could be a wildly competitive. And who knows what it might look like, Celtics wise, not an excuse, but like, if you get Pritchard and Vousavitch and a four quarters from Jalen Brown, like, that's going to be a fun series. So Jalen again, after the game, we said this going into break. He tweets after the game. I'm sorry. After his objection, like half time of the game. I was like, during the game. He was like, he's like, he's like, right, just been tossed out. He like, walked out to his phone and immediately blasted this out.

This is the crap I'm talking about. I mean, we're cleaning it up a little bit, right, a little bit. He's got such a thing for the refs and that, that's probably why it's a big reason why I can't get on aside for this. It was such a non-call that I feel like he was looking for it and ready for it. And he feels like in these big games, the Celtics are targeted and he's targeted. And I just think that's nonsense. Do you think you weren't targeted last night, Jalen? It was a nothing call that you bitched about. And then you chased the ref around for five minutes and you got thrown out. I don't think there's anything weird about that. Do you think if he acted the exact same way, but hadn't said anything post games and all like, he's had a lot of comments here and there. Good question. My answer is I don't know, but those comments after the game don't help. Tweets like last night, don't help. Oh, no. Next time it happens, they might be in the same spot. They might be a factor. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You have to wonder about that. So on the first hand, if he gets thrown out, he's not getting the superstar treatment, which again, he's been like an uphill battle of his, his whole career. Like he wants to be a superstar. He's literally playing like a superstar this year and yet the refs.

And I don't always agree with the actual like call or non-call. I'm talking more about the ejection, the ejection I disagree with him getting tapped out of bounds. I'm not saying that should have been a call like superstar should get that or like some of the times this year where, you know, we had to get enough free throws like, okay. No, a superstar should get leeway on getting thrown out is your point, which I think is Tatum's point. And I think that's fair. I don't think the refs are blameless. I think they overreacted. I think they're bad. And I think they're babies too. And they took it personally. And the third ref, whoever he is, I got his name, you know, flying out from the, uh, from the side. Yeah. Uh, Suyash Mehta comes flying out, James not talking to him. So like, I'm not saying the refs are blameless, but like Jalen, if you don't overreact to a nothing call and chase the rest around the court, none of this happens. It started with Jalen. Yeah. And so this is like, it's close to, I guess like a playoff game as you would find because it's a marquee matchup. It's the, the number two seed in both conferences. It is one of the prime time games, right? You know, I know there's a thousand different prime times on every network now, but still prime time game featured game.

And it's a close game in the second quarter. And you do this. I feel like it just can't happen. And if you want to, I'm sure many others are like, Hey, Jalen Brown didn't control himself. He didn't hand himself the right way. The refs still need to just be like, they're not here to see us. We don't need to make a big show of it. We don't need to like give this guy a lesson or anything like that. Keep him in the game. Keep the game moving. If you want to throw him a technical, whatever, but don't throw him out of the game. That was a mistake. Okay. You guys can discuss 617-7797-793-7. You can also talk about BAM out of BIOS 83 points. Yeah, which also if you're watching the Southern Sun Peacock, you got a chunk of those free throws at the end. I was like, Oh, enough. I watched none of it. I saw a cut up going around today, though. Why have I asked my HVAC guy? I found on Angie.com to change my grandpa's trachea tube. I was so amazed at how we replaced our air ducts. I knew I could trust him to change pop-ups tube. Oh, I mean, I saw some highlights last night. I didn't watch any of it live as my point. I was watching the Celtics on NBC, so they didn't cut in on it. No, that was nice of them. But I saw some of the cut-ups today, pretty much from 52 points on. There's a cut-up going around of him just all of his baskets and pretty much from 52 points on, and there were plenty of free throws before this. From 52 points on, it's all free throws with like a random lay-up mixed in. He went 36 of 43 from the free throw line. I was like, what? Bam out of bio, hit seven breezy shot, 22. Bam out of bio. Yeah. The center. Yeah, took 22 threes in the game. Yeah, like, I feel, I don't like this one. So, I like stats, I like chasing records and all that stuff. I don't, I don't. It's by the way, we haven't said it. It's the second most points in NBA history in the game. Yes, yes, yes. Wilta 100, Kobe had 81.

He passed Kobe last night. He passed Kobe. For 83, second most points in an NBA game in the sports history. And for everybody that loves Kobe, which is most of the NBA, the... You remember that game? Yes. There's a lot of shots. There's a lot of chasing it. Like, he was going for it and he got the 81, which at the time was the second most. Yeah, was his team... I mean, without the Raptors, he'd play against... Yes, yes. That was against the Raptors. This was against the Wizards last night. Was his team failing the Raptors to get Kobe extra free throws? No, that was gross. This was like, this was like the Booker game a few years ago. Keith, do you remember when Booker did the second... Against the Celtics? And they... At least they lost. At least BAM out of I was team one. Good point. The... the sons that they were... What do you get 70? Yes. He had 70 and they were... They were fouling the Celtics to get extra possession. And the game was exactly the same. BAM was incredible to start this game. Yes. He was incredible. And Booker was incredible that night against the Celtics. It was... But then... What is this? Then they manufactured it to like chase a number at the end. It can't just be a great night and he ends up with 50. No. It's a manufactured 83. It was a manufactured 70 for Booker when you...

I agree. When you start fouling the other team to get extra possession for your guy to get points, that's trash. That's garbage. And I guess my buddy was watching the game. He told me they were missing shots on purpose to get him a rebound to try to get him a triple-double or a double-double? No, it would have been a double-double. He had nine rebounds. Okay, so it was a double-double. Yeah. If he was nowhere near anything else. They're trying to do that. Like Ricky Davis style for him. So like the whole thing was trash and nonsense. Especially the end, which is what they cut in. We got ourselves a bonafide cheating scandal. I get it. If you're watching a peacock, they cut into it. And so he's not at 84 yet, but he's chasing it. And you're like, all right. First of all, it's late fourth quarter, a 25-point game. Right? They're up big. Because the Wizards are horrible. The heater up big. And he's still on the floor. And you're like, whatever. Like he's leaving them on the floor. But then they're not even playing basketball. No. Like in a normal game, he wouldn't even be in the game. Right? Yeah. But if he had 30 or something, he'd be sitting down. No. Fine. He's not the first coach to let a guy try to get 40 or 50. Oh, no, no.

I don't care that he's playing. I don't care that he's playing at all. He's having a crazy night. But then they're fouling the other team. Exactly. And you're like, what are you doing? And then he's just like seeking out contact and going back to the line. Like he wasn't even like this amazing shooting night. He went 20 or 43 from the field. Seven of 22 from three. Yes, gross. And when it's like wheelchair and Kobe Bryant, bam out of bio. That's a trash list. Oh, I think they were saying last night, and this was a scallion drew. I think we're talking about this. The list was like, will Kobe, willed somebody? And now it's willed, bam. No. Trash list. I don't like the list. Not good. And when you just look into how they did it, is really what's gross. I mean, the Celtics would do it to like a minor degree. Remember for years, like, Rondo, they like manipulate assists. I think they got Tatum to 50 in like similar circumstances. Maybe not hacking the other team, but definitely like chasing it. But like manipulating it. You're like, all right, that's not really in the spirit of things. Now, I didn't watch the wild game. I didn't know what they were doing in the wild game. Some theory, some people believe that never even happened.

Some people things made up. We were talking about it. We'll bring in pure hoops later. We should bring in pure hoops because that was not a good keep-spiracy. Bryant subscribed to it. Bryant, for Zoko from the afternoons tweeted out his last night. He's like, last night, that was not pure hoops. So I'm sure I'm sure Terp is disgusted. Yeah. But no, it's a good, it's a great keep-spiracy. If Will Tat is 100, how come we haven't seen it? Good question. Where exactly? At least there's video of us. And let me put this in air quotes. Keep landing on the moon. Like, at least there's video of that. Where's the video of Will? Stanley Kubrick needs to go back and film the Will 100 point game. So these are the top 10. So Will 100, Bam 83, Kobe 81, Will 78, Luca 73. Allow with David Thompson, had a 73. Yeah. So once you get to the 70s, bookers are there somewhere. Then Will had one, two, three, more 72 or 73s. Damien Lillard had a 71. Donovan Mitchell had a 71. The Admiral David Robinson had a 71. As did Elgin Baylor. And then the 70 list is another Will Devon Booker and Joel on B.

The most points Michael. And B. See, it's hilarious. I don't even remember some of those. And B. Luka. Yeah. Who else do you say? Lillard? I don't remember any of these. Yeah. But against the Celtics. I remember the Booker one well. Yeah. Right. That was definitely. And that was equal garbage to what happened last night. But anyway, Bam, I scored about Michael Jordan in the game. 69. Nice. I bet he checked himself out. He gets it. It's like third quarter. He's got 69 points. They coach him out. Larry Bird one times scored just 60 with just his left hand. Yeah. He was one time against the Hawks. The Hawks were cheering him on. On the bench. They were. There was such a crazy night. Larry Bird. That one time. 617-779-793-7. We got all your phone calls here. Jones and Keith. You can discuss the fakeness of Bam's 83 points last night. Now, second, all time at NBA history. Celtics measured up with the spurs, but we were robbed of potentially a win and a great game because I say Jalen. Keith says the rest. You can talk there. Plus, Charlie McAvoy. Lucentieth for the Bruins. Yet again. But they do get. They do get their two points. And McAvoy gets the game winner.
