So last Monday, when the NFL tampering period started out, the commanders first target, apparently, was Alec Pierce.

2:09I'm sure they were targeting different people at the same time. But the first one that was reported was they're going after Alec Pierce, the wide receiver from the Indianapolis Colts. Ultimately, he decided to stay in the Indianapolis for a bit of money. Some fans actually said at that price, they were happy that the commanders didn't get it. I'm actually in that camp. So once Alec Pierce was off the board, we started looking at the board and were like, well, maybe they should have to Romeo dobs. Apparently, they did. He signs elsewhere. Close but no cigar. So the dust settles and the commanders have signed 11 guys. And the majority of them have been defensive players, which they desperately needed. They did sign VFRA to see a tight end. But wide receiver remained this whole. Now, they have filled the whole stopgap wise with one name you're familiar with.

3:10And another one actually might be familiar with both. You know both names. I don't know if you're your average fan knows that much about Van Javerson. But the name you're familiar with is Diamy Brown is back in DC. So Diamy Brown who left and signed a pretty lucrative deal to be with the Jacksonville Jaguars is back VFRA agency. Last year with Jacksonville, he gave you 20 catches. You know what? Last year with Jacksonville, he was Diamy Brown. Right. 20 catches, 227 yards. One touchdown. He activated during the playoffs in Jacksonville. Four years in Washington, he did have a career high 30 catches in 2024. His career high and touchdowns is two. Well, what this tells me is they're not done adding to wide receiver. Like especially if Jeremiah loves these guys. If he's picked before they pick at number seven and Carnell Tate is there. These signings indicate to me that Carnell Tate is clearly in play to be selected at number seven.

4:14Sure. So the second name one year signed for like one year, three million Jefferson's numbers haven't been disclosed. But it's also a one year deal. Again, this does not preclude them. I don't think this is the second name is Van Javerson. Right. Just just to set it up Van Javerson last year, 29 catches, 350 yards and a touchdown. In 2021, he had a career high six touchdowns. But the last couple years, you know, kind of DMB brown type numbers. He's like a 20 catch guy. Maybe a touchdown or two. Yeah, they're just a guy. These are bottom of the wide receiver room type signings. Yeah, but the idea I think is is that it upgrades your bottom of your. And so instead of having Chris Moore and some of these other guys at the bottom. What's the guy's name? Some of you guys have been sketched to change his name. We don't have. So instead of those guys, some guys maybe. Yeah, I'm five or a little younger, a little more in their prime. Yeah, you're right. There's your bottom.

5:14But these guys are battling for the fifth and sixth wide receiver spots on the roster. I think that's kind of what they should be at this point. I think so. But you got to have guys. They need. They don't have enough guys. So Brandon, I you could still out there. Yeah. And people want to connect the dots to say he's going to end up here in Washington. But convinced he's going to be here. Convince. Convince. I've been convinced for a couple of weeks now. Convince. Unless they just do something to completely sabotage it. You know, just hold on to him as long as they can. And maybe that maybe there are some sort of like a signing bonuses do or something. What if Brandon and others wouldn't want to pay? What if Brandon and I you surprise you and signs in Chicago? But possible. But it seems to me he torpedoed an entirely beautiful situation for one reason. Okay. He did that. But there's still 31 others. You think it's for the one reason that you try to reunite with Jaden. But whatever reason he wants to play with Jaden. Yeah. They're best buddies. He loves them. He wants to play with that. That's what it appears to me.

6:14A feel. I'll take the field. I mean, obviously a million things can happen. They could hold on to him. Are they best buddies? I don't know what the contractual obligations are in terms of. If they release them now, they still owe them. I don't know how that works. And I hear Jaden Daniels is best buddies with the running back. They just brought in. Yeah. He's got a lot of best buddies. Oh, with. Oh, it was shot white. Yeah. They're tight. Yeah. They played. They played it. I know, but which ones is best, but like are Brandon and Jaden really that close? I understand that they were at some point. They're pretty tight. They're pretty tight. Remember, I told you they were tight before the draft. Yeah. But getting back to the position, they clearly are going to address it. Either with a guy like I youke or in the draft. I think they're going to address it with both. Yeah. I think they're going to try to get I youke. And I think they're going to draft the receipts. This also tells you they're out of the Debo Samuel business. It seems like it. Or else he would have already been sorry. Debo. It's price is $20 million. Delia case. But why not? But what if it's price going down? Now you get it for $7 million a year.

7:14Why wouldn't you sign it? I mean, you just never know. I just. I wouldn't. I think they would have signed it by now. Can I collect on that bet already? What? The $20 million. You already owe me three bucks. Not yet. From different bets. I think I still owe you guys money for the. Yeah, you do. You'll be like a five. That's death. Put it this way. I owe you five. And then E.B. Would owe cakes five. Like we split on that projecting. Yeah. Commander's free agent deal. That's right. I do believe that love is out of the equation. Actually, there's no scenario where he's going to be available. It's a seven seven. Jason, I stand corrected because he got one right too. On the francy. So you owe each of us 166. Yeah. I'll let you handle that. If you chop it. If you're paying attention online to any of sort of the gossip, apparently the the giants now covered them. Heart balls all in. Right. And the Titans cup. I mean, it just don't see a scenario. And that's okay. That means Carnell Tate will be available or a past Russia that they want to add to the mix.

8:17Falls down to seven. This one. What if they whiff on IU key B? Okay. I don't buy them out. I don't consider a whiff if they miss on IU. I think it's probably your anti-IU. But if I use signs with whoever, I throw out the bears. Right. So if he signs with the bears, because he wants to play with Caleb. Yeah. And not necessarily boy, whatever, but they lost to receive it. Well, you go traded receiver, right? You go. You go. You go. That's how they could whiff on him. Is they actually get a team dumb enough to give themselves a rounder and they trade him to somebody else. Right. And then tell you whiff on him. I think if he's available via free agency, they're going to get him. I think they're going to get him. And I would rather have. But he can't happen till after the draft. Correct. That's allegedly what they're, but they're threatening now. But who knows? That's the way they're posturing. They may find somebody else that they want the roster spot for and they see that no one's biting. I just worried about a guy I haven't seen play in a couple years. I'd be worried. Oh, you should wait for it. I mean, it's a serious injury. If I'm out of Peter's, I'd worry about it too. That's why they're not going to give them much, but I'd like the first crack at him.

9:19I might say. And it sucks. Cut his ass. Yeah. Who cares? I'm not saying you didn't address the position because you're banking on a guy. Dude, they're addressing. They're going to do the draft. They're not, it's not just I you to solve the problems. No. No, I'm almost convinced they're going to draft one with that first pick. I don't think they're going to get love. I think they've done a pretty darn great job. They could drop the corner. Yeah. They could drop somebody in the second area. They still could go down. You just say down. I'm sorry. He said corner. I mean, it's better than it was. I'd rather have love. Sure. But I don't think love is going to be available. I think he's going to be the second pick. What for modesty? Fords a decent player. It's gonna catch a true number two 60 to 70 balls
