Shoplifter Jailed for Ban Breach

0:00On April 3rd, a 42-year-old shoplifter from Chilwell named Kelly Freestone just got six months behind bars for ignoring her court ban. Back in April 2024, she landed a three-year criminal behavior order keeping her out of key stores like two co-ops in Beeston, one-in. Chilwell, plus B&M bargains, home bargains, and savers in Beeston. She blew it off quick, though. On March 16th, 2026, she hit the B&M, grabbed cushions, hopped the barrier to skip the tills, and walked. Out without paying. Four days later, she tried the co-op on Queens Road in Beeston. Back some veggies she brought herself, and dipped again, no cash handed over. Neighborhood cops knew her face, naved her on March 23rd with CCTV, sealing the deal on both thefts and the band breaches. She copped guilty pleas in Nottingham Magistrates Court on March 24th.
