Shoe Sheet Shenanigans. Thurs Feb 26, 2026

0:00Yo, what's going on it is 1pm here and Crystal Lake a little, I mean this time for another live stream today is Thursday, February 26, 2026, 226, 2626, that's gotta be a lucky day. You know what I was thinking about today guys, before we get started. I was running and I happened to run by a convenience store that had those lottery numbers, you know, like those boards that say like mega millions is at this, power balls at this, and then in Illinois, it's like Illinois Lotto's at this number. And I was running by it, I'm like, ah, you know what, one of them is at like 400 million something, one of that 350, I'm like, I should probably buy one of those ones at 350. And I was thinking like, why would you buy the one for the smaller one, and I was like, eh, it probably has better odds, and anyway, but it occurred to me that I have always in the back of my mind, I've had this belief that at some point, I will win a very big lottery.

1:04I never play the lottery, I don't never play the lottery, I very rarely play the lottery. But in my mind, I just have this like belief that at some point, I will win a lottery. I don't know why I think that does everyone think that, I don't think everyone thinks that, I don't like treat my finances that way, I'm like, I'm good for it, I got 300 people coming in soon, I don't behave like that. But in my mind, it's just like, it won't surprise me when it happens. I don't, I don't know if that's normal, or if I'm just delusional. Are you guys that delusional? Anyway, while you guys are thinking about that, let's say everyone listening on the audio only version of podcasts today, we're going to be doing a lot of shoe sheet entries because I got a bunch. There's some, a lot of like embargo shoes that I couldn't weigh in front of you guys all the time, they were just too busy in the live stream to weigh them, but we're going to weigh them today. Also we'll do some live weighings as well because we've got all these on shoes that are often bargo now. We got the cloud, I almost showed them to you that the day. There's the cloud monster, the cloud monster three hyper, and then I also have been running

2:07in the cloud monster three hyper light spray, which has been real fun. And look at this nice little purple, it's not as purple on the bottom as it was before. I think it was like a lilac, but it was really nice color, but we'll get to all that. And hopefully everyone listening on the audio only version still enjoys spreadsheet madness day. And then everyone else watching this later but not live, hopefully this is a nice break from your spreadsheets that you might be looking at. Maybe you're looking at web forms, getting your taxes and stuff done. So life imitates art or entertainment imitates life, I guess. Anyway. Mark Peterson's here, he says, it's 40 degrees in Minneapolis going, puddle stopping in shorts in a couple hours. Yeah, it's been, I mean the temperatures here aren't that great, but it feels kind of nice. So today I ran in a t-shirt, a thin jacket, and like a hat. I did have gloves, mittens on, but like, I haven't, yesterday, I think yesterday did I, no, yesterday I didn't run in like a winter hat, just a regular hat today too.

3:09So it was nice. Fred Navas says, 45 in the Seattle area, I might go with half tights today. Well, that's nice. It's bold. And, some bad news, JC brings it up, says, hey everyone, I read that Jeff Galway has passed, he was 80, I, I read that too, and I was just looking at something. I didn't read like any of the message, like I think, I don't know if there was an obituary or something that the family had, someone was posting about something that the family had put out. And it was, I mean, Jeff Galway for those of you don't know the kind of pioneer of the run walk method, the Galway method, which has been instrumental for a lot of people to get into running and also for people to hit some PRs in their marathon running, even when they're not beginners. So it's been really useful for just a lot of people. But anyway, the thing that they said is, you know, like when people pass, they always

4:13say like he survived by like his wife and three adult children or something like that. For Jeff Galway, and it was really touching, it said like he has survived, but everyone who crossed the finish line and said, I didn't think I could do that. And I just think that that's, that's amazing. The man touched so many people's lives, yeah. And I think that the running community has lost a titan today. So I'm pretty bummed about that. And so, all right, going back to the lottery thing. So everyone says, you know, I have the same belief to code, that's how they get us with the lottery. Yeah. I don't know. I feel like I have that very strong idea. It's not like, oh, I'm going to buy a ticket because I feel like I'm going to win today. I've only said that maybe once or twice. But one time we were at the airport in a, a priest, someone like wearing one of those

5:17collar, so it might not have been a priest, but a man of the cloth, you know, said something to us about it, like, hey, it's your lucky day, you should buy a lottery ticket. So of course, we bought a lottery ticket that day. And it was when like the power ball was like at a billion dollars or something. We didn't win, but I feel like those are the times that you got to get one. But yeah, I don't know. I just feel like at some point, it's going to happen. Frank says everyone thinks that. And when he says, I definitely think that. And he says, you know what, the number is 1,800 gambler. You know what, I, you know, I try not to pat myself on the back too much, but when I look around at like how crazy dudes are these days and how easy it is to be not only a sports gambler, but to do, I keep wanting to call it posh mark. It's not posh mark. It's polymarket, right? Although like other like spec gambling stuff, that's just completely unregulated.

6:19Not that regular gambling and it's quote unquote regulations are that much different. Oh, I guess they are substantially different though, but anyway, I'm like, the bar is low for men. I'm like, my wife's lucky. Like I don't watch a lot of sports and then I'm gone a lot running and stuff, but I don't spend like the day at the sports bar trying to watch 12 different TVs with 12 different college games. Not that that's what you're into. That's fine, but I'm like, that saves a lot of time for me, you know, and that frees up a lot of time for me to do other things. I don't bet on sports. I don't bet on other things that are not sports. And all you have to do is not do those things and like, you're a pretty decent guy. Bar is very low. Bar is very low. Okay, my menistka starts as co is Adidas sending you the drop set.

7:24Is that the high rock shoe? I saw some people that had it. I don't think that they are. Adidas has sent me something else that I can't tell you about yet, but I don't, they haven't. But they would send me the super tall shoe, the one that they use for the 100K record. I have not got that one. I don't really want that one. I probably won't like it anyway, because I don't love the evos. But the drop set one, the one with for the high rocks I think, I don't, I don't think they're going to send me that one. I don't have it yet as far as I know. Sure. Sheriff Bass says hello co a bit late, but congratulations on Black Canyon. Thank you very much. It seems like a so long time ago that that Black Canyon happened, but like, my body definitely

8:25reminded me today. Like, hey, that wasn't that long ago. I tried to do a longer steady run at five miles of steady work. I was like, that's good. I ended up maybe like five and a half miles of steady work, and then I cut the run short because I was like, that's, that's enough, that's the number day. I don't have a race on the calendar yet, so I don't need to like rush back into anything, you know. And I bet you said, okay, the high rocks one is the drop set elite, drop set is the cross trainer like the MetCon. Oh, I think I would like to try the drop set though, because I've been, I've been hitting the gym. I don't know if you guys saw, you know, but I've lifted like four times in 2026. So I probably could use one. So everyone wants to know how the red blood cells recover. I feel fine. Yesterday's run. I felt fantastic. I wanted to just keep going. If I had more time in the day, I would have ran longer. Today I got, I didn't plan my meals very well today.

9:27So like four miles in, I'm like, I'm starving. I was going to try to run 10 miles, but I was like, I'm so hungry and I don't have gels. I can't, there's no reason for me to do this. So I cut it at seven. You know. Sean Devon says, I worked at a convenience store in college and the scratch ticket and lottery addicts were pretty sad. They all have formulas on how to hit big, not sure if any of it worked out for them. Yeah, I feel like, so in, I guess I was during law school, I had a job at a law firm. And I don't remember if it was the subway or the Jimmy Jans, but we would, I would go and get lunch. And there was also a new high rise going up nearby. And like the construction workers would come in and like they would come in and they would just do all their scratchers and pull tabs then.

10:32And like they were into it every day. And sometimes they won decent money, like 20 bucks, 50 bucks, 100, 500 bucks, you know. But I'm like, they were in there every day and those scratchers are not cheap. But I do think our pretty fun is like pull tabs when you get them at a dive bar, you guys ever done that. That's kind of fun. Every once in a while walk over to the bending machine, get a pull tab, those are fun. I mean, it's not, you know, I guess these days in Illinois, there's a lot of like the video poker and the video slots and stuff like that. It's every, I mean, I mean, I never really saw it in Chicago, so I don't know if it wasn't allowed when I lived in Chicago, but out here it's everywhere. And that is really sad to me. It's super depressing to see that. I don't know. So everyone says pull tabs are great. Pretty sure they're mid-wessing. The rest of the country doesn't have pull tabs. I mean, I didn't, I wasn't exposed to much of that kind of stuff growing up. So I wouldn't know about New Jersey, I guess.

11:32But yeah, everyone runs as pull tabs at the dive bar is what I wanted every single race. That would be fun, wouldn't it, you know what I mean? Just keep the fries coming, keep the beers coming every once in a while, grab some, grab some pull tabs. You know, I feel like that'd be, that'd be pretty good day, you know? There is this one bar at, um, in Minneapolis that I've been thinking about a lot lately. I forget the name of it. I want to call it outer bar, but I also want to call it outer bar. I think it was outer bar, but they have a roulette wheel. And so, like, when you, every once in a while, you go over to the roulette wheel and you drop a couple bucks cash down and then you get to spin the roulette wheel and then you have to, you get to drink whatever you get. That's kind of fun as well. I feel like, I don't know if that place sells pull tabs, but if they do, that could be a problem for me. I could stuck there for a while. Uh, you know, ritualism says, I worked at a gas station with two owners.

12:36One of them would buy scratches when he was, when he was there due for, when it, when it was due for a leader, like a $10 win owner to got pissed at him for killing the golden goose. Oh, okay, um, those leaders are to keep customers coming back. Yeah, that's kind of shady, you know, it's not shady, but it's mean. I feel like gamblers know, I feel like gamblers know, like, oh, you never get a winner here, you know, all right, Rusty ordered a lot of things. I got invited to go to trail run and palo sites. It'll be my first trail run ever. Should I quickly get some shoes or anything and get away with regular Nike pegs for a six mile easy run? Uh, I'm not super familiar with what's up for their palo sites. I can't remember if that's where I did my trail run. I forgot that one outer, what was it called, outer belt ultra's, um, but I think you probably be fine, uh, because the pegs have more grip on them, uh, they have full rubber

13:42coverage still. And so I think that you'll probably be fine as long as it's not a muddy day, you know, I'm a nisk assert says, you know, hearing Southern California, we have native casinos on each block. I was just watching something the other day, saying that like, Las Vegas is like dying and then like Las Vegas doesn't care because they still have like the big whales coming in, but like all the stuff that's used to be there for like regular people to go and have a gambling weekend, um, is kind of dying off, which I think is, I guess good, but it's kind of sad. I think part of it's like you can gamble anywhere now, you know, um, my game was pie out. Does anyone, does anyone here play pie out? That's the best. I, I could play that game all day, um, super fun, just keep the drinks come in, play pie out, especially if you could take over a table with your buddies. That's super fun. I like it when they have the little, um, tiles rather than cards, cards are fine too, but

14:47the tiles just make it seem a little bit more fun. I don't know. All right. I think it says, hey, so I'm trying map training for the indie mini back when you did the map. Did you find it beneficial? Did you know it's a difference when you actually ran fast? So yes and no. So I mean, that was a while ago, but I, by thoughts on map training or like, it's good for like, I think say not race specific training. I'd say like before you get to race specific training, that's where I think it's good. I'm not saying you can't use it while you're getting ready for a race, but these days, I feel like I need, I like to have certain kind of race specific training. One, just so mentally, I'm accustomed to the effort required to, so my body is accustomed to like taking the strain of a different speed of running. And also three, I feel like adding the speed onto it onto a very solid base, I feel like is kind of like what lights the fire of fitness to me. And so like, I always think of like, math as like throwing Tinder onto a wood burning

15:52pile, right? And you're adding more and you're adding more and you're adding more. And then once you add speed work, race specific speed work to it in the weeks right before the race, that really like ignites everything. And it takes the fitness that is there and kind of actuates it in a way. I don't know if physiologically that makes sense, but that's how it feels. So all the way I think of it as, is like, if you're making, like when you think about like metal work, you know, you keep putting more and more metal on it. And then after a while, you have to then start hammering it to actually make the blade sharp. I feel like the math part is where you're like making the blade, but then the speed work is the actual honing and hammering and all that parts. That's kind of how I see those two things related. I haven't read Mappatone's book in a long time, but from what I remember, there was not a lot of discussion on like race specific training and even Mappatone, who obviously is a proponent of the Mappatone method, would kind of say things like, oh, and this person

16:56would usually just run a bunch of race a bunch of 10Ks in the week leading up to their marathon. And that's was their speed work. So like, I don't think Mappatone has ever said like only Mappatone, even for Mappatone racing, and the only time you run faster than that is when you race. He's just has never been, as far as I remember, for my reading of it, and it's been a while. I don't think he's ever been specific on like, okay, so what is, if I'm not going to race at 10K for six consecutive weeks, then what does my speed work, you know, look like? I don't think he's ever been super specific on that. And it's because I think a lot of it is it's more of a like a lifestyle change. And I think of it as more of a fitness reset. So I do feel like it was a benefit when I wanted to run fast because it allowed me to do a couple of things, allowed me to be really resilient. So I was able to take on a lot more load. And then when I wanted to go fast, I was able to add intensity to my mileage already. So it was kind of like a base building is how I approach it.

18:02Oh, market is the outer bar is a bar of Minneapolis, big karaoke bar. I think, I think we're talking about the same place, Mark. Brando versus, hey, if you got the Magic Speed 5, it seems like a Takumi competitor now. I do not have the Magic Speed 5. And you know what, I don't know if the Magic Speed 5 is going to come to the United States. It might be like Takumi, or maybe like the Adios, which was available internationally, and like available in the US for like a minute, and then it was gone. And I talked it, I think I'm allowed to tell you this. So I talked to ASICs about it, and I was like, because we were having a conversation about superblast, and I was like, I get this, that's like five minutes. I was like, well, I got you guys on the phone, can we talk about some other stuff? And I'm like, what are you guys going to do with Magic Speed 5? Now that you also have Sonic Blast. And like, my main question was, are you guys happy with how Sonic Blast turned out?

19:05Or is there like a change or update coming like pretty quickly? You know, and I don't think they didn't say that they didn't like Sonic Blast. I actually kind of don't remember what they said about Sonic Blast, but they said about Magic Speed 5 is that it's going to be coming lower to the ground, and it's going to become more of a Japan focused shoe, and a global focus shoe rather than a US focus shoe. It's going to be lowered to the ground a little bit more firm, more race oriented in the meta series rather than being in like a blast series. So like, I think that they want it to be part of like, Metispeed Sky, Metispeed Edge, Metispeed Ray, and then Magic Speed is kind of going to be in there too. So I think that's kind of where they're pushing. And I was like, oh, so like, that's like, what is it? What was the shoe? There was Meta Run, which was that big goofy shoe. I don't know if you guys remember that one.

20:06But then there was like the shoe that came out before the Metispeed came out. And I think that was Meta Ride, right? It had a beautiful like pinkish upper. And it kind of felt a lot like a Zoom, what is it? Like the Zoom streak? Yeah, Zoom streaks. The ones that like college kids used to race in for a cross country. It was a lot like that shoe. And so I think that like the Magic Speed is kind of like, resume that position. So that's where that one's going. I think it's really interesting because it has like a lot of really nice headline features. And it looks great, but I haven't had it. So I've been, I was just thinking about it yesterday or maybe this morning when I was on the couch. That I'm going to ask them to send me one. I usually like try to space out my review. So I'm like, oh, they just sent me super blast. So like, I don't want to be like reviewing Magic Speed right away. Like to sprinkle that to lay that through the year a little bit more.

21:09But maybe once it gets warmer. See A6 again in April at Boston. I think I'm going to Boston. So I'll probably stop by there. Pop up then and be like, hey, couldn't you guys send me that? I guess I could just email me about it. And Frank says, you know, that would be a huge transformation of the Magic Speed. We're now a 5K racer. I mean, I feel like, remember Magic Speed 3? That was, was it, wait, no. One was the one that looked like. Two, two was the one that led the Tiger Stripes 3. Three was the load of the ground one. I think they're going to make it more like three. That's what I think. Matthias says, you know, I was thinking about, Matthias says, I was thinking about Elijah Orr. He's on post in like six months. But he's fast. And I like this channel. I hope he starts posting again. Yeah. I met Elijah one time in Boston outside of a club that was rented out.

22:10That like heartbreak had rented out. We like cross paths as I was leaving. But I remember watching his stuff very early on. He was doing, he was doing like 20 mile runs at like six 45s in Brooks ghosts. And I was like, what is happening here? And he's like, yeah, I'm also a waiter. So I'm on my feed all day. A lot of times I work doubles because I'm just trying to save some money. And I was like, what? And then he, and then he's like took writing a little bit more seriously. And got even faster. And then he got into like the ultra space for a little bit. But then I also haven't heard from him a little while. Hopefully he's doing all right. Tony says, hey, go. Are you going to be in Boston this year? I know still early for you to have anything locked in for shakeouts. I just had a conversation. I mean, my like monthly meeting with my manager yesterday. What's today?

23:10There's I had it two days ago. And it seems like, I don't know, maybe it's just me. But like it seems like a lot of their brands are like not locking stuff in. So yeah. I do know that rabbits said they're going a different way this year. So we won't be doing a rabbit shakeout. So I would love to go with a deedus again, because I went with the deedus last year. And then they usually let me kind of like have my own forays, as long as I'm not doing stuff with like a direct competitor. So let me do the rabbit shakeout. But this year rabbit doesn't want to do one. And then obviously I'm not taking it personally, because like, I don't know if you can see this. I'm wearing my rabbit. I happen to be wearing my rabbit sweater right now. But like, so I don't know what I'll be doing. I talked to my management. And I was like, you know, I'd like to go with the deedus again, because it's the experience going to Boston with the deedus is amazing,

24:12especially when you get like the wristband to go to the finish line. It's just so good. But I was like, you know, other times I've done stuff with the deedus, like they don't ever want to, they would like to do stuff amongst a deedus. And I'm like, and like, last year they did the deedus hub for the first time. And I was like, see, hopefully they enjoyed that experience, because I thought it was great. I thought people that came through the deedus hub thought it was great. So hopefully they'll do something like that again, and maybe we can do some sort of shakeout run from there. So that's kind of like the tentative thinking. Otherwise, I told my management. I'm like, I'm not super like particular about it. And like, you know, if I'm in Boston, well, I'll just tell everyone me, me be with a river. And we'll do something, and hopefully we don't get any problem from park cops, you know, kind of thing.

25:12Kyle Rupp now says, interesting on the US versus international. Do you know what makes him decide that the US wouldn't be interested in a version of a shoe? I think that a lot of it comes down to stuff like the running event. If, you know, they get a sense, like six months a year out, of what people will want to buy, at least the buyers want to buy. And if they're not into it, they see it and they're not sold, then, you know, that gives them some indication. I also think that like, while the divide is shrinking, I think that there used to be a very big difference of what Europeans liked in their daily trainers and what Americans liked. And I think like Solomon's a really good example of like them not really understanding that there is a difference. I think A6 was pretty quick on understanding that there's a difference. I think Nike doesn't care. And like, they say these are the shoes we make, and you will like them. But like, so like Solomon shoes, think about like their tallest shoes,

26:13like they try to make like shoes for American trail runners, like the ultra glide and stuff like that. And they would even have like, you could tell which ones were made for Americans because they had regular laces, versus the lace garage and stuff. So they were trying to like figure out how to do it. But even then, they couldn't make it soft and cushy enough. Like Americans would be like, I would say like North America, we generally prefer bigger taller squishies or shoes. I think likely maybe is because we run more on concrete and paved surfaces. In Europe, where I do think that they run more on softer surfaces, generally historically, maybe not in 2026. Maybe the gap is shrinking, but back then, maybe like when I first started getting into shoes, like shoes that were very popular in Europe, felt like bricks to me compared to what things that were popular in the United States. So like, I don't know if you guys remember like the first Solomon arrow blaze, pre-firm, even just trying the sense ride,

27:14like version three, maybe six years ago, I was like, I do not understand how people think that this is comfortable for a trail shoe. It's so firm underfoot, but it depends on the terrain that you're running on. And I think it could be quite ideal. And that's why people like it over there. And so I think those are just some global differences. And like the adios just hasn't been a big seller in the United States, I think. So I'm not surprised that like, frankly, I'm surprised it still exists. But the fact that it wasn't that big of a push in the United States doesn't surprise me that much. The Magic Speed, not being a big push in the United States, does surprise me a little bit. But I also talked with A6 about it too, where it's like, you know, this tempo shoe category, I feel like is endangered. Because it's like, at this point, especially with ATP, you heading the market. A lot of race day shoes, you could do your workouts in.

28:15You know, and it just shoes gonna be fine. You'll still have plenty of life left for your marathon race, whereas like when they first started coming out, like 2019, 2018, like you let those on a shelf and you only use them like in case of emergency slash, in case of a race. And so you needed that training companion shoe. You know, and so like the tempo shoes that we're having their day, because they're like, well, they have nicer foams. Maybe they have a nylon plate versus a carbon fiber plate, but it's kind of nicer. And that's why I feel like shoes like Magic Speed. Shoes like Tukumi Sen. Shoes like Fuel Cell TC, which is still to this day one of my favorite new balance shoes of all time. Like, we're really important. And so like, I think that maybe in the US, where we're like, I read or rather just run in like the super shoes could be more like the Magic Speed maybe is not as compelling of a shoe, because maybe we'd rather have no blast, make a blast super blast. But in Japan, where maybe they're doing more threshold work

29:17or tempo runs and they want some different tools, I could see them wanting something different, just depending on how people run and how they train. I don't know, a lot of that is kind of like shooting from the hip. So I don't have data to back any of that up, but that's kind of where my thoughts are. My thoughts. And someone that doesn't get involved in international buying, that's what those are my thoughts are. My minutes goes towards the Magic Speed 5 is available in the US. I'm aware it is available in the US. I just don't know like, is it going to get a big push like the Magic Speed has gotten previously? I don't think they've been released. Asics hasn't been like sending it out to people, you know, to reviewers. You know what I mean? And I always feel like, people always ask me, how can we not review this stuff like XYZ? And I'm like, well, the brand hasn't asked me if I want it. And so a lot of times I'll take their lead, a brand's lead on that. Sometimes I still have to go back and get it. Like, this week I've been running in all these new balance shoes. They did, new balance did send me the ellipse, but I was like, I bought the 1080.

30:18I bought the 880. I bought a bunch of new balance shoes, because new balance doesn't send me a lot of stuff. Hmm. I got pun, it's a, I got pun su senpai. I hope I said that right. It says, I'm sorry if you answered this already, but are you having Tokyo this weekend? I am not. I'm, I'm a, I would love to go to Tokyo again for the marathon, but I've already run it once. And so I feel like, I'm good. I have my PR there. I feel like I don't want to touch that. You know, it's kind of like retiring as a champion in the way. I love Tokyo, but I won't be there this year. My manager says, you know, if rabbit's not going to do stuff, it's time to start your own merch to push. I do merch every once in a while. I don't love it. You know, merch is fun. It's cool to see you guys running and racing and enjoying it,

31:19but I think that, you know, there was at one point in time where I was like, man, I got this whole big basement down here. We have space to not maybe warehouse stuff, but at least have like a decent amount of merch set up, but I'm really bad at getting things shipped out from down here. And it's just a, just, I don't really want to do it. So, yeah. Johnny says that the Adios 9 is heavily discounted now in the UK. So a lot of remaining stock to shift might be the end of the Adios franchise. I mean, I would make them late sense to me. It would just be sad. But I could see it. But also at the same time, like Adidas, I don't know if they're doing,

32:19I don't know if they, if it times with like when they need to do like stock reporting or whatever, but like every once in a while, like Adidas will just deep discount shoes. And then they'll be out of it. And then you think, oh, well, maybe their next model is coming on soon. But then it'll come back like another shipment came in or something. I don't, I don't know how it works. But I was just commenting on this on the YouTube channel the other day. And people, someone was saying like, on my Tukumi, on one of my older Tukumi sent videos, like, man, this seems fake. All these people in these comments are talking about how they got this shoe for super cheap. It seems like bots. And I was like, I don't know. Have you guys ever bought Adidas running shoes? Like that's how they do things. Like the price drops are aggressive, unpredictable, and temporary. So it might be cheap one day, but it might be full price the next. It might stay full price for the rest of the life of that product. So it's just, isn't discernible in terms of the pattern. You just got to be watching, I guess.

33:24Hmm. Williams, J.C. says, I need a new noob last. Do you have any idea when the sixes are dropping? I have no idea. I don't have them yet. I don't, I want to say, I don't think I've even seen them. I may have seen, I don't like to look at leaks, because then it ruins the surprise for me. But I haven't gotten any information on this. I haven't gotten any information on that yet. Izzy Kale says, we update the non-elite hat to add Sydney. I've been, I've talked to Forrest about that. But I think we need to start with, let me scroll down here. We got a bunch. Let's do some, I guess we'll do the ones from the phone first.

37:24Let's pull those out. Okay. So I don't, I don't have many things on box today. But I do have some stuff that I haven't shown you guys before. So here we go. I do have to scroll back a little bit because some of it is that old. And I'm pretty, I have to like double check to make sure, do we do the DV8 4? DV8 Elite 4. But it didn't do the DV8 4. 38:24really, really old forests and giant trees. And they had a squirrel in the station in their house and it took weeks to remediate. And we were like, oh, I hope they don't have squirrels. So I went up into the attic and I like peaked around in there and like I had to push the thing up. It's not like an attic where, you know, you pull the rope down, not like national lamppoons or you pull the rope down and then the stairs come out. Or is it like the crawl space where there's like a trap door and you push it up and you have to like slide it over so I stick my head up in there. And it's not a squirrel but it's a bird. There's a bird that was in there. And one of the vent pipes to let the heat out of the attic. I don't know how the addicts work. It was coming in through there and every time it came in and out, it was clanking its talons on like the metal pipe or whatever. And so that's what we were hearing. And then as I was in there and I was like, poking my head out, the bird was like dive bombing me and stuff. It's crazy. It was crazy.

39:24Yeah. And so I was screaming. And my wife was screaming too because she couldn't like see what was happening and it was really funny. But we called in a company that will take care of it so they've closed up. I guess we have some parts of our cornices. I don't even know the words. That had some holes in it. That's the bird's key. All right. So anyway. I don't know if they're still up there or not. I haven't heard them in a while so I think it's all been remediated. All right. So DBA 4, 8.9 ounces for that one and 252 grams. So that one's nice. I wish I had more time to run and that one. But that's another shoot. Like when I was talking with A6 I was like, look at shoes I get into orphaned speed. Look at shoes like DBA 4. Some of my favorite shoes in the past couple of years. And I don't think as good as they are, I don't think a lot of people are buying them. I think probably a lot of people buy into orphaned speed. More than DBA 4. Because that's a little bit softer. We got Adidas Terrix.

40:24I should leave it as Terrix. A grobic speed ultra 2. I do really like this one. I like it much more than the first one. The first one gave me blisters under the arch. Like right away. So I couldn't run in it for very long. This one does not. So I feel like the one problem it had it fixed. And I feel like I got a little bit more chill. Which I'm thinking like, if this is a shoe meant for a 100 mile race. No, I get it. Pro is running 100 mile race differently than I would run 100 mile race. But if they're trying to sell this to like normal people. I feel like the shoe doesn't need to be like super aggressive. You know what I mean? To be able to sell it. David DeFrangio says, I haven't read this. But this sounds like it's going to be awesome. I live in the top four of an apartment. And we had birds multiple times come down through the vent for the microwave. I was so confused the first time when I heard chips chirps in my apartment.

41:24Oh my goodness. That is so weird. Um. The. In my coin. Wow. Sean Devins says, what kind of bird? I don't know. I feel like it was it was one of those little ones. Those birds that are like like they look like tennis balls. You know what I mean? They're just really round. And then there's like a little tiny head on top. So I want to say like some sort of like finch type of bird. It was small like the size of the fist. You know, it kind of moves like a bat. For a while, we thought it was a bat. Um, my wife and I. Um, and I, except for the fact that bats have are really smelly, I wouldn't have minded a bat because bat eats, bats eat so many bugs. Um. So that would have been fine with us. All right. Superblast is 8.4 ounces and 238 grams. Um, love that shoe. Uh, I wish I had more time to run in it.

42:26Um. These are apertures. There was a bird last spring that would attack my head if I ran by it with a black hat on. White's hat didn't bother it. Oh, that's so surprising. Um. Now there are the, um, what is it called? The, uh, red wing blackbirds, you know those birds? There's a bunch of them near my in-laws. And, um, they are organized and they will like park themselves equidistant along the power lines, uh, and the phone lines in the area. And my mother and I went, she would ride her bike through there. They would, they would pack at her bike helmet. Um, and, uh, they've done that to me too. They would usually go for the little, you know how sometimes hats have a little button on top? I guess a lot of running hats don't have that button anymore. But like if you have like a trucker hat, you know how's the button?

43:26They would always go for the button. All right. Aurora BL. Um, I ran in that as I was getting ready to look at the glycerin flex. She's 8.9 ounces and 252 grams. That shoe was surprisingly firm. Um, I was expecting it to be even softer, but I'm also trying to remember like the context of when that shoe came out. You know what I mean? Because I feel like when that shoe came out, that would have been way softer than a lot of what. Um, Brooks was making at the time. Uh, hook a CLX13.0. Mmm, I can't tell it was head decimal point mark. Um, this one is 7.1 ounces and 202 grams. Um, which is a good weight. Uh, I feel like it should be lighter, but not bad. Bad weight. I do really like the CLX13.0.

44:26I'm not sure if I like the 2.0 better. Um, I wish I could have put in more miles on the 2.0 before the 3.0 came out. Uh, the next shoe is Cascadia Elite. 9.4 ounces and 268 grams. That shoe is kind of big. It's kind of like a paddle. It's pretty, uh, squareish in terms of how the shoe feels underfoot. And when I ran in it, it was a pretty, like, it was a lot of snow ice pack on that day. And I was definitely sliding around quite a bit. Um, but it was an icy day. Um, so I feel like overall the grip on it was really nice. But I am starting to wonder if, uh, view room light base is maybe perhaps overrated. I'm not saying it's not good. Um, but like people freak out about like, oh, it's so good. And I'm like, uh, I don't know.

45:28It depends on the, I guess it depends on the terrain. If I had a, maybe if I had a muddy day, it would be better. I don't know. I feel like those little nubby things should be really good in like snow, pack snow and slash ice. I don't know. Um, the glycerin 23, that shoe came in pretty heavy. Um, I don't know why it's so heavy, but 10.7 ounces. Um, which is not like crazy for a max cushion shoe. I feel like anything under 11 ounces for a max cushion shoe is fine. But like glycerin 23, these days isn't like a max max cushion shoe, right? So, um, all right. We got another ASIC Super Blast because I have two colors, I actually have three colors of it. Um, and I meant to put the second, the third color in the Super Blast video, but I ended up forgetting. But the weights are different. Uh, on this, which is surprising. So, the Super Blast, the white version, I have it weighed at 8.2 ounces and 232 grams.

46:33Uh, for the white, and I don't know if that's just normal variances. Or if that is due to it one being white and maybe less died than the blue. I don't know. And then we've got new balance. See, I told you guys I had so many to do. 1080 version of 15, which, do people like the new balance 1080 version of 15? Um, because I, I got the impression that people were upset about the infinite. I just think the name of the foam is funny. Um, but it's, I got the impression from all of the people that they didn't like it. But then I ran in it. I don't know. It's a 1080. It feels good. Uh, it's not like, you know, no idea type of shoe. It doesn't have the same magic that 1080 version 10 seemed to have, you know. Um, but 1080 version 13 I think was probably the best in recent memory.

47:35But I like 1080 version 15. It just, it feels really premium. But maybe that's stuff that people don't care about, you know. Kind of like, remember the Glister and Max one had that giant Brooks logo on it. That was like, this is heavy and not functional at all. But it is pretty and I like it. I feel like a lot of the stuff on the 1080 version 15's like that. Patrick really likes it. He said, he's bouncing it in Rebel 5, but my first, but it's my first 1080, so I can't compare it to older versions. I don't think you need to be able to compare it to older versions to be able to say you like it, and that you think it's good. All right. Ah, all right. Super last three in white. Fix the typo code. Okay, sorry. You guys, good eye. All right. Super legit loves him. He says, the last 1080, Aaron is 13. They're my recovery shoes still approaching for approaching 400 miles and so level. There you go. That's good. These are your apertures as you know, it's hard to tell if people were just upset.

48:37It's not called fresh foam anymore. Can you imagine being mad that something's not called fresh foam x? I mean, that's a weird name in and of itself too. But I mean, going from a fresh foam x to infinity and infinity on. In funnion. I don't know. It's just. It's an interesting. It's an interesting thing. The new bit just says, infinity and cells sounds better than Increder run. I think I kind of like Increder run more than infinity and, I don't know. Neither are great. All right. How are we doing on time? Or are we doing on count time? See, I got, I got some more. Okay, here's another one. Here's the new balance ellipse. So I went back and forth as to like what to call the, how to title the video? Because I'm like, I just don't want to call this like new balance ellipse.

49:37I feel like I need to give some sort of indication. Some sort of hint or some hope to get people to watch that one. And I was like, I feel like this should be a 980. But maybe it should be a 780. I'm not sure. Problem is there is already a 900. So for a while, I was going to make it the ellipses. So like there's the 880 ellipses, 1080. And then that put the ellips in the middle. But then I realized it was ellipses and not ellipses. But then someone commented and was like, oh, so basically this is a budget 880 that looks like a 1080. And I was like, oh, yeah, that's it. That took me 20 minutes of YouTube video. I edited YouTube video to kind of get my thoughts out. And this person did it in like 12 set, 12 words. I was like, oh, you saved everyone 20 minutes. Thank you. Yeah. Matthew Moodle says, I demoed them a week ago. I sunk too far in the rep, but it seemed like I'd be bouncing off it.

50:37Yeah, then they're interesting to see what the messaging is on this one. The only thing that was really surprising to me about the ellipses is like, I didn't know the price when I first got it. And I ran in it before I got the pricing. I was like, that's pretty good. I'm like, it's kind of like a, it's kind of in between an 880 and 1080 in a lot of ways. I felt like, I mean, he just looks so much like a 1080, but it kind of feels like what an 880 normally is. So I was kind of like, that's where it was. And then I was like, it's 140. I had to email them and ask. And I was like, oh, okay. Well, is this low price? Because like, well, this is the same brand that gave us the propel for a long time. And so I'm like, okay, maybe it's like a new version of the propel or a new take on that concept. And then I was like, well, maybe they're just doing like, well, Evo SL was 150, crazy good price.

51:37It's not a budget shoe compared to like what, like drag pro shoes normally cost, but a really good shoe at a really good price. This year, we've got Endorphin Azura, really good shoe, really good price. Is this like, we're going to make it a lost leader to hook people into new balance from the running side? I thought maybe that's it. And I'm like, all right, how do we look at this in a way that's not budget? You know, what is it like? Still, it part of it feels, I think it's a really good shoe. I think it's worth $440, but it's not like an Evo SL aggressive pricing. Endorphin Azura aggressive pricing, you know. Tony says, I also keep forgetting to trying to hit the, oh, he's, he's forgetting that he's watching what he's watching. And he's trying to hit the X to close out of the out of storage notification. All right, here you go. There it is. I think this is a lot more real estate. There we go. Um...

52:39Yeah. Matt running says, the worst foam name in Hokka's upcoming, or coming pro glide plus in the Clifton Pro. Clifton Pro sounds like a, I've made up name. I also feel like, you know, we're getting really close to April. So I'm like, is Clifton Pro really going to be a thing? I also think that what's amazing, like related to that, is that like, remember, it used to be pro fly, pro fly plus, like Hokka used to have names for their foams. A couple of years ago, they stopped naming their foams. There's no trademark foam names in Hokka. Am I wrong on that? I feel like there aren't any. Um, you guys will have to let me know if that's, if maybe I'm just missing it, maybe I'm glossing over it when I look at the tech sheets, and when I look at the website. But as far as I know, they just tell you what the foam is, which I really appreciate. Um, but I also feel like, uh, I don't know. I feel like legal would be upset that there isn't something to trademark in there.

53:43Alright, we also have the New Balance 880 version 15, which, uh, I was upset because I did not make it to the seeding list for this shoe. Everyone else got the shoe, and I didn't, and everyone's like, oh, it's so different. It's so good. Uh, I didn't like the shoe. I'm very confused by it. I don't know why it's 150 dollars. I can't imagine buying an 880 15 at 150 dollars when you can get an EVO sell 150, although they're very different shoes. The 80 version 15 reminds me of this shoe. The Mizuno Wave Rider. Wave Rider 29. It feels, but I prefer the Wave Rider. The 880 15 is, uh, that is, that is kind of a weird shoe. I've only run it at once. So I don't want to make like a definitive opinion, but like, it is not what the 880 is to be. Okay. Johnny says, you're right on the hook of foam. As someone who is always checking trademark for multiple shoe components,

54:45I've come and says, except, right? So like, I don't know why they just gave up. They just stopped. Um, which maybe that was good. But Hoca's, uh, Hoca's always tried so many things. Remember they used to give us the volume of the foam in the shoe? I actually thought that that was a pretty useful number. And I feel like today, when we're, I'm spending so much time talking about geometry, and with a pursue, like the footprint of a shoe, not just the last, but the footprint. Like, I feel like bringing back that number of the volume. Maybe they still have it. I don't know. At least I print it like on the shoe. Remember? I don't know. Um, all right. So let's get to some shoes that I have to, I can actually show you. I mean, I can show you all these, but I just was being lazy. So I've been running in this, well, I just showed you this one already. Yeah. So let's put the weights on here. We got the on. Because I already took pictures of this one, because I needed to do it before I ran in it. Now this shoe is surprisingly light. Um, and I think a lot of it has to do with the, um,

55:49the light spray upper. That's right. Three hyper LS. It comes in at 7.5 ounces and 214 grams, which, that's really nice. Nice. I've been, I've been testing it as a long run shoe. Um, and so far I've run in it twice. Maybe only like 12 miles in it. So not a ton. Um, but this, I mean, because you, when you look at a light spray shoe, you got to look at the foam that you see. But then there's also a foam that your, that the light spray has to stick to. So there's more foam than this. But it's not quite as tall as this looks, because there's also a lip for your foot to like sitting on the inside. You see what I mean? Like over on the edge here. There's like a lip. Um, so your foot is still cupped inside the foam. But there's a lot more foam than it looks. But so far, I haven't looked at the tech sheet on this. It doesn't look like there's a speedboard in here.

56:51I don't, I can't imagine where they would put it. But, um, the shoe is nice when you hit the sweet spot, but the sweet spot is small. And otherwise it feels just kind of like a big shoe. That's a little bit more dense than it needs to be. My miniscence shirt says, does the hyper still feel firm? A bit, a bit. Yeah. And Kyle's on my own like it says, how does it compare to the cloud boom strike? Um, it's not as like harsh of a shoe. So there's more cushion to it. There's more comfort to it, especially at slower speeds. Um, actually the back part of the shoe is like super nice. So I feel like for heel strikers, it could be really nice. But I'm, I'm not usually on this part of the shoe. I'm not spending a lot of time here. I'm spending more time in the lilac colored part. I think that's a lilac. The purple part of front. Um, and that's when it feels good when I'm hitting it. Like at the, and I feel like the cloud boom strike has the same sweet spot where you have to be like a little bit extra on the toes.

57:51But when you do that, oh, it balances that you like sink into it and it shoots you back up in a really nice way. But, um, this one, otherwise it just feels like it's a good shoe that feels really responsive, but feels a bit dense. Um, and I wanted it to be a lot. So it looks like it's going to be so soft and cushy, but it's not soft and cushy. Um, so, uh, I think a really great long one shoe. And so that'll be interesting to see because I'll show you the next two shoes are the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper with a regular upper and then the Cloud Monster 3 non-hyper. And I love what they did this year. And I'm hoping in my mind, I think what that narrative is going to be is Cloud Monster 3 is your bigger taller runner daily trainer or people that want like a taller shoe. As your daily trainer, um, the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper becomes like the long run shoe and then the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper Light Spray.

58:53I still think Light Spray is going to be a very niche. Now, I know that they are, they've built more of the Light Spray robots. They're used to only be two, one that was making shoes and the other that would go on tour. So anytime you saw a Light Spray robot, that Light Spray robot is not actually a production machine. It just, I mean, it makes shoes, but that's the showroom machine. Now there's more. I think there's like six or eight of them or something like that now. I don't remember the exact number. Um, but so they're trying to make more. Well, I think the lights, the cloud right now, first impressions, not having run in the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper or their Cloud Monster 3, but only having run a dozen miles in the Cloud Monster 3 Light Spray. I think it's going to be like this Cloud Monster 3 that I'm showing you now, which is the same purplish color. What do they call this color?

59:53I don't know. Um, this one, I feel like, is going to be like a really nice long run shoot. It feels lighter than it. It feels so much lighter than it looks. And I think it's pretty much this very similar midsole. Um, but with a regular, um, on style upper on it. I think this will be the long run shoot. And I think that this one fits in where I think they wanted the Cloud Boom Max to fit in. I feel like a lot of people are going to, to the extent that these were, if these are available and assuming they're not $400, I don't know how much this is going to be. Um, I think this could be an excellent, uh, for people that have been racing in like the SC Trainer, I think this is going to be it. This is going to be better. It's lighter. It's got a lot more pop. Um, so I feel like this is going to be a really nice race option, but realistically, the long run shoot, the racing shoot is this. So I feel like this is should, this is going to serve the spot of the Cloud Boom Max.

1:00:55I think, I'll have to see. Um, yeah, Tony says that is a good looking shoot though. Yeah, both of them will look great. I think that they're amazing. All right. So let's do this Cloud Boom Hyper 3. Let's get this back up on the board. Let's get the board back up. Um, um, Cloud Monster 3. I don't like it when it does that. Okay, 9.2 ounces. So it goes from being, oh, this is a light shoot to being like, oh, okay, respectable. Um, yeah, 9.2 is right around where I want like a long run shoot to be. I mean, I'd love it lighter, of course, but it's a good, it's a good weight. Oh, smells waxy.

1:01:55Uh, not waxy. Hmm, very, very, very plasticky. Smells like a brand new phone case in here. Strong. Not, not off-putting, but strong. Hmm. Oh, the light spray is 275 and the regular is 220. The regular reading 220 is not crazy for on. For on pricing, I feel like that's decent. 275, uh, is the regular, oh, so it's a Cloud Monster 3 regular or Cloud Monster 3 hyper. Which one, how much is the hyper? If this is 220, um, I can look it up too. But the other shoe that I want to show you guys is this one. Okay. This is the regular Cloud Monster 3.

1:02:57So I need to correct, uh, my shoe sheet. But this one is the regular Cloud Monster 3. And it's got like, uh, double, some double layers of clouds and then regular cloud tech. Um, so reminds me of, what was the other shoe that on made that had double clouds? Do you guys remember? I want to, I keep wanting to call it atrium. Um, but yeah, so I feel like this is going to be like the max cushion shoe or the daily trainer for some of my bigger taller friends. I think glycerin lovers, uh, nimbus lovers, things like that. Um, people who are running in those shoes, I think this, this is going to be it. Um, yeah, it's got the double. All right. So my minister says pricing is Cloud Monster 3. 190. I like that. Um, I haven't, not having run in it, but conceptually.

1:03:59Uh, Cloud Monster being 220, a little high, but not crazy for an on shoe. And then 275 for the light spray. I, I think that, if they could, I think they might be able to sell a lot of those. Um, yeah. Um, what's the other on shoe? Um, Cloud. Hmm. Hmm. Trying to think what it was. I, it came out before the Cloud Monster. And then when the Cloud Monster came out, um, I was sure that that shoe would go away. And they kept making it. And then I don't know if they're still making it. Oh, Adrian, Cloud Stratus. Cloud Stratus had double clouds. That's sure I reviewed that one for the first time five years ago. Um, but that had double, double clouds. New mistress's first generation Cloud Monster had double clouds.

1:05:01I don't think it did it. I thought I always had just the big ones. That could be wrong. Um, yeah. Yeah. So, uh, let's get to the weight on this one before we talk about it somewhere. Uh, and then on, Cloud Monster 3. Okay. This is a little bit heavier. This one is coming in at 11.3 ounces. And that's 11, 11 ounces. That's where I'm like, oh boy, it is a big boy. Uh, 320 grams. Uh, so this is a big one. Oh wait, I got to do this again. I left the cardboard in here. That's going to bring it under 11 ounces, for sure. Yeah. Okay. Not bad. Oh, I like this.

1:06:0110.5 ounces. Under 300 grams. 296. Okay. Good. The upper is not as nice on this one on the, on the Cloud Monster 3 versus the Cloud Monster 3 hyper. The hyper 3 high, Cloud Monster 3 hyper. Upper is really nice. It's very pretty. Um, this one is just, okay. Feels kind of underwhelming for a $190 shoe. But I don't have to put it on and see a completely different kind of plastic smell though. This is kind of, it smells like, uh, it smells like someone's trying to, yeah. Like, if someone were to make a really cheap cologne that had like a mahogany in it, that kind of what it smells like.

1:07:02All right. Um, let's highlight these and then mix them up with the rest of the shoes and see where things fall. All right. So, I already did do the CLX 1 3.0. Okay. I already showed you that one. So we can delete that. Cloud Monster 3 is almost the same weight as the Cloud Boom Strike. 3 Hyper L.S. Uh, sorry, I gotta show this to you guys. So the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper L.S. is almost the same weight as the Cloud Boom Strike. And it's lighter than an Endorphin Pro 4. Wow. That's fun. Um, the Super Blast 3 is the same weight as a topo specter and then the Mizuno Secret shoe. The Neo Zen. I think that's what it was. Uh, about the same, Super Blast is the same weight as an Endorphin Pro 5. It's also lighter than the Nova Blast 2,

1:08:03which is kind of wild. Uh, oh, on this one, the Blue Super Blast is the same weight as the Endorphin Azura. Interesting. And then the DV8, which feels like a light shoe, is the same weight as a Boston. Crazy. And the same weight as the Aurora BL and the 1080 version 15. That's kind of crazy. Um, the ellipse is the same weight as the Cloud Surfer next, and the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper. Oh, interesting. Okay. Maybe I'll compare those two when I do the review. And the Cascadia Elite, a little bit bigger, same, same weight as the Cloud Ultra Pro. I think between Cloud Ultra Pro and Cascadia Elite, I might go with the Cascadia Elite, and get that, like, that midgator on it. Um, yeah. Wait, no. Cloud Ultra Pro? No. I don't know. I like the soft, the Cloud Ultra Pro is really nice and soft.

1:09:04I thought this said Cloud Ultra 3 for some reason, or in my mind, I was thinking it. Hmm. And then, the A graphics speed Ultra 2 is the same weight as a Tecton X3. Interesting. And then that new balance 1080 version 15. It's just a chunky boy now. 10 ounces. That's way too much. Way too much. Okay. We got Cloud Monster 3 in Glister. All right. So some fun weights. Uh, Cosminal Michael says, would like to see On try to do a softer running shoe again. I sure would too. I feel like, I feel like they had, they had it with the Cloud Surfer. It should have been with the Cloud Surfer. Go back to Cloud Surfer 1. Give me back the Cloud Eclipse. Like bring those back. Because you've got the firmer ones with the monster here. You know what I mean? Like,

1:10:05I don't know why they need to do that. Quainturely says, the lights ray hyper comes with expensive socks. Not a choice, I guess. Does it come with socks? I mean, mine did. But I thought maybe they just put them in the box for me. Hmm. Hmm. Quainturely says, they say that the lights ray is 45 in the heel and the regular hyper is 39. But some of their reps say it's the same midsole. I don't know that it's that different. It might just be the way that they have to measure it. But I mean, like, it's hard to tell because the light spray comes down onto the midsole a little bit. And I think that there will have to be some changes to the midsole because of that. You know, to accommodate the different uppers that they're putting on it. But,

1:11:09yeah. I mean, conceptually they're the same. I feel like the yellow part, the lime green part is the same. And it looks like it's the same foam in the same general geometry, you know. But it looks like there's, I mean, there is medial side support on the light spray one as well. But it looks much more prominent in the Cloud Monster 3 Hyper, the regular upper. So, yeah. I mean, it just, it feels like there's much more rocker on this one, on the light spray versus the regular version. So, I mean, they seem to be a little bit different, but I think overall, what they're trying to go for is the same experience, different uppers. But I do, I don't know. I feel like the light spray is kind of a gimmick, but I kind of like it. So, I don't know.

1:12:09I don't know. My missed hurt says, is it the cloud tech that keeps them from making softer shoes? No, I don't think so at all. I think if they wanted to make a super squishy like Ufos like shoe, I mean, think about the cloud surfer. They may, they can make a soft shoe. They just don't want to. And I think this kind of goes back to my, the discussion earlier about European versus North American preferences. I think that up in Zurich, I think they spend a lot more time running on gravel. They have manicured trails and stuff that they can run on. I feel like they run on softer surfaces more than they do here in the United States. And so, their preferences for softness or firmness is different than what we have preferences for here. And I think the same thing, I think it's still taking Solomon a long time to kind of figure that out too. Solomon and,

1:13:10and on are in different countries. But I feel like there's a lot of similarities between the two brands in terms of their approach to footwear. And I feel like it's not, and I think that it's not a coincidence that they both make shoes that most Americans tend to find be a bit on the firm side. Tony says, you know, I run in my alpha flies without any laces, and I feel that's basically what the lightspray ever feels like. I like to see Mother Anne's fight with the no lace look. I just saw another shoe with no lace. Oh no, it was a Solomon. It's a Solomon did with their new racing shoe. Remember that one? I still need to run in that. But yeah. Yeah, I feel like, sometimes I feel like, man, laces are such a nice shoe. Sometimes I feel like, man, laces are such an outdated technology. Do we really even need laces anymore?

1:14:12But then sometimes I'm like, I think I've been, I think I've been doing this too long maybe. But like, I do like, I like the attempts at innovation. I love the fact that the lightspray model is so much lighter than the hyper model. You know, so I feel like that's a good one. All right. I've been rambling on way longer than normal guys.
