Sherwood Library Reopens with Community Events

0:00On April 19th, Sherwood Library swung its doors back open on Friday, April 17th, after a full refurbishment that turned it into a fresh. Community gem, right in the neighborhood's core. This spot having closed for a major upgrade, and City Council leaders kept their word to bring it back this spring, despite the challenges. Local folks are buzzing, with a ribbon cutting kickoff alongside school kids, and the place opening to everyone at 10 a.m. That day expect crowds all weekend, as people check out the upgrades. They've lined up fun events like our sculpture workshops for kids, music from Johnny in the raindrops, and a secret lineup gig called Sherwood Social. On Friday, April 24th, from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. for just $10 with a special code. New books fill the shelves next to a cool, scarecrow exhibit, plus weekly tots time for little ones on Fridays from 10.30 to 11 a.m. Reading circles, crafts, and a fresher they'll push, called Read Return Repeat, to get folks hooked
