Sherrell's Alabama vs Michigan Showdown

Now with sophomore, he's the big part of Alabama's push into the sweet 16 match-up against his home state team at the United Center in Chicago. Cheryl has put up solid numbers all season, with 11.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He stepped up even more in the tournament, grabbing 15 points and 15 rebounds in the first round win over Hofstra. His rebounding will be crucial against Michigan's strong front court. Coach Nate Oates plans to lean on Cheryl for heavy minutes Friday night. Meanwhile, some of the players close friends back in Michigan are cheering for the Wolverines and wish he'd stayed home.
