Sheriff Seeks Help in Teen Shooting

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help after an 18-year-old boy was shot in center point. Deputies responded to the 10 block of Polly Reed Road, North East, and found the teen with a gunshot wound. Fire and rescue crews from center point rushed him to UAB Hospital, where doctors treated his injuries that are not life-threatening.
